PHASE II
Mayil is running very fast, and she just wants to run as fast as she can. Just then, Jagdish comes from the front, just returning from the office. As soon as she sees her father from front, she immediately hides behind him, grabs him well, and shouts loudly.
"Explain to your friend that if she tortures me in this way, then I will forget that she is my mother."
Jagdish was able to ask her anything. Before this, she shouts loudly and hides behind him.
"Handle her."
Jagdish looks towards the front, where Shweta is standing with a stick with her sari tightly tied to her waist, which scares him too much. But he cannot let any harm come to his daughter under any circumstances. So he strengthens himself very well and asks Shweta in a loud voice.
"What... what..."
Nothing is coming out of his mouth except what? Because Shweta has stood in front of him, staring at him too, which Mayil does not know at all, Mayil slowly shouts at him from behind.
"What is what? Roar loudly like a man."
Shweta is listening to everything, due to which she tells Jagdish to move away from the front with a gesture of fingers, but Jagdish refuses by shaking his head and smiling. Shweta puts both her hands on her waist and starts staring at Jagdish with her and eyebrow up, due to which Jagdish immediately withdraws from the front. Seeing Jagdish move away from her front, Mayil screams loudly.
"Papa, she will kill me... Help me."
Shweta beats Mayil with a stick. Even before this, Jagdish grabs the stick, comes in front of Shweta, and tells her.
"Sakhi… My sweet Sakhi, What did my innocent girl do? You are running after her to beat her like this?."
"Ask your obedient and very innocent devil what she did."
Shweta is very angry, due to which she sits quietly on the sofa and turns her face to the other side. Jagdish knows Shweta doesn't get angry so easily. He turns and looks at Mayil. Mayil comes, bows her head, and tells him.
"I swear, I had only three golgappas yesterday. I didn't eat more golgappas than this. I know very well that very spicy and outside food does not suit me. My health deteriorates very quickly, and I am saying this over and over again, but Mumma does not believe that I have eaten only three golgappas."
Shweta, who is sitting very angry, does not look at them at all and tells them by folding her arms across her chest and saying it loudly.
"Jagi, Ask your daughter what she did to the milk today. I agreed that she had eaten only three golgappas yesterday. She didn't lie to me. But you know that even three gol gappas have become a cause of great trouble for her. All night, she was tormented by pain and troubled us too."
Jagdish, after listening to Shweta's whole thing, turns towards Mayil, who starts smiling and seeing him, but Jagdish stares at her lightly, due to which she comes right up to him and starts speaking softly in his ear.
"You know that I do not like to drink milk at all, and Mumma is always telling me that I have to drink milk. I know she is right, but what should I do? I don't even drink milk... "I therefore observed a cat that appeared to be hungry and that enjoyed milk; consequently, I fed that cat that milk."
Shweta turns to see Jagdish and Mayil, who are slowly talking to each other. Shweta screams loudly.
"Jagi, are you saying anything to her?"
"Absolutely not."
Jagdish immediately responds to Shweta and, placing his hand on Mayil's shoulder, brings her to Shweta. Mayil has a smile on her face, which makes Shweta angry.
"Daughters are not made for scolding at all. They should only love. You don't know how many times I have told you this, and you should be happy that our daughter has fed milk to a hungry cat. It is a different matter that if she gave her share of milk to her, then today our daughter will drink mine and your share of milk too because she has made such a big sacrifice, then she should get something in reward."
"Hainnn..."
Mayil was happy listening to Jagdish, but suddenly, when Jagdish reveals his intentions to her, she is shocked, and Shweta gets a smile on her face. Shweta immediately rushes towards the kitchen, and Mayil tries to run away. But Jagdish has sat down, holding her well, and she cannot run away from her father's grip even if she tries hard.
Shweta soon brings two glasses of milk there, seeing that Mayil is very terrified, but she is not able to get rid of Jagdish's grip at all. Jagdish has also held both hands very well. That's why Shweta starts feeding her milk by holding her jaw, and even though she doesn't want to, she has to drink full milk.
"Owweee… "
Mayil gets up from her father's lap while making a very dirty mouth. Her father and mother are laughing at her while hi-fiing with each other like a good friend. She slams her leg and runs towards her room.
As soon as she leaves from there, Jagdish turns toward Shweta and starts looking at her angrily. Shweta immediately grabs her ear and tells him with a smile.
"Sorry jagi… I also don't want to get angry with her, but she makes me angry. Your love has spoiled her too much. Try to love her a little less, or else she is going to bother you a lot someday."
"Very funny... Look who is saying this—the one who loves her more than me in the world—that if she gets a little scratch, then the whole house turns in such a way that it does not scratch it. She got hurt very deeply. You don't know how many doctors you call for her slightest sneeze."
"She is my life, Jagi."
"I know, so what did you make for our dinner?"
"Your favorite Kadai paneer has been prepared for you, and her stomach is not well, so khichdi has been made for her."
" Hmmm…. I have offended my daughter, so I will go and have my dinner in her room today. You eat your food and bring mine and her dinner to her room."
Shweta smiles because she knows that whenever Mayil is annoyed with Jagdish, she stays in her room like this, and he always talks with her for a long time in her room to convince her.
Jagdish changes his clothes and immediately comes to Mayil's room. As soon as he enters Mayil's room, she immediately jumps from behind and climbs on his back. Jagdish smiles and holds her well so that she does not fall.
"Papa, you always support her."
"Because she is your mother, has always loved you, and only thinks best for you."
The servant comes and serves them food. When he moves out of her room, Jagdish immediately makes a morsel and feeds Mayil.
"Umm, I love it... This Kadai paneer is so tasty... I must say, Mr. Kaushik, your wife is a very good cook."
"Definitely, darling, my friend has amazing cooking skills."
"Papa, why do you always call my mother your best friend when she is your wife? Isn't she? ... "
"Because she was my friend before she became my wife. We have both known each other since childhood. We have been playing with each other since we don't know how to call out each other's names, and later, our parents got us married. But our friendship never ended, even after marriage. Even today she calls me by her given name, Jaggi, and I called her Sakhi, so I still call her Sakhi."
"How sweet... Papa, I want to talk to you about something very important..I am not interested in graduation at all. I want to learn more about interior design."
" Fine… You have to do graduation because it is a very important degree. You can also do your course on interior design as well. I know that you have a good score in interior design."
"I love you, papa."
"I love you too, my sweetie."
Standing outside, Shweta is looking at Jagdish and Mayil lovingly. She knows very well that whenever Mayil's health deteriorates, she stops all kinds of food for her and gives only simple food like khichdi, due to which Jagdish deliberately eats food with her so that he can feed her a little bit of his food to fix her taste. She looks at Jagdish with a smile, and goes from there.
