CHAPTER 59
Mayil is quietly having her breakfast. It has been almost a month since they came back from Switzerland. Mrityunjay's attention is only on Mayil. He has been noticing for a long time that Mayil is not eating or drinking in a proper way.
He knows the reason; she misses her family very badly. Mrityunjay is noticing a lot in her as she is more focused and takes up her training. In no time, Mayil's tutor will arrive and teach her at home. She will start fewer conversations with anyone and only concentrate on everything that is beneficial for her plan. So she takes her breakfast and sits quietly in a living area where her tutor teaches her.
Mrityunjay looks at her very well and then walks away silently. Ayaan is standing outside with some files. He asks him instantly when he finds him in front.
"I told you to contact Mr. Mohan's company as soon as possible."
"Sir, we have tried many times to talk to Maam's mother, but now she is not giving us a response at all. I don't know what her reason is behind this, but she says that she has a lot of projects at the moment and does not want to try her hand at any new project, which costs her all her attention. It will take at least 7 to 8 months for all these projects to be completed. After completing these projects, she wants to think about anything, but not before that."
"7 to 8 months... Mahi wants to meet her family. I can't let her meet Jagdish because, even though I have stopped troubling Jagdish but I haven't stopped hating him. I have done this only because I don't want Mahi's mother to suffer in any way because of that man; she loves her mother so much, and now that Shweta Kaushik is handling more than half of his business at this time, how can't I bother her because of that person?"
Ayaan nods his head positively and tells Mrityunjay to hand over his files from the project he had created to Shweta Kaushik.
"Shweta Kaushik, no matter how hard she tries, she cannot refuse this project at all, and she will have to come here to London to process this project further. If she comes to London, she can meet ma'am. You have made this plan, but I am not able to understand it. How are you allowing her to meet her mother when you have kept Mahi Ma'am here hidden like this? That is, if Shweta Kaushik meets her daughter, don't you think that she will try to take her away from you? I don't understand any of your plans."
"Ayaan I can't tell you what my condition is right now. Under no circumstances, I can see Mahi sad. But my problem is that I can't even see her near Jagdish. I neither have any problem with Shweta Kaushik nor with Mahi being her daughter, even though I know she is Jagdish's daughter too. Mahi can meet her mother, and I know this thing creates lots of problems, but I cannot leave Mahi like this; she turns very sad day by day. I'm just a little crazy; I can't explain this to you. I have loved someone for the first time in my life, and after losing my family, I can't lose Mahi in any way. For the first time in my life, I am starting to fear that she will get away from me. I can't even describe my fear in words... I am afraid to lose her."
As if Mrityunjay is fighting a battle with himself. He turns inside and looks at Mahi, who is deliberately immersed in her books in the living room, as if nothing seems more attractive to her. Ayaan looks at Mrityunjay's face quite well and then looks inside Mayil too and gently asks Mrityunjay.
"Sir… Maa knows your affection for Jagdish's daughter."
"She knows everything... I thought she would be angry with me. But even after wishing I could not reduce my feelings for Mahi, she only told me that she wants to see me happy."
Ayaan immediately smiles upon hearing his words, as he did not expect such a thing at all. But when he hears this, he is so happy that he cannot describe it in words. He immediately starts telling Mrityunjay all the further procedures.
"Sir, whatever you plan for this project, Shweta Kaushik will not be able to refuse at all, or else we will have to go to India or This time, Shweta Kaushik will have to come to London. Whatever happens, Ma'am will definitely be able to meet her mother.
This news is like cold water in a desert: a traveler is suffering from thirst, and suddenly he has some splashes of cold water on his face, which are enough to calm his mind for a time period.
"How much time do we need?"
"Sir, at least 7 to 8 months; definitely after that, Sweta Kaushik approaches us."
Ayaan quickly turns and leaves, and Mrityunjay turns towards Mayil.
"I can do anything for you... I love you, Mahi. I know you have to go to your parents, but what should I do? I can't explain myself. In seven to eight months' time, maybe I will be able to explain myself. The time that I have not spent with my parents—maybe you need that time. Perhaps such punishment is enough for Jagdish to stay away from you for 2 years, but perhaps now the time has come for me to take the punishment for the sin I have done you by separating you from your parents. I will be able to stop you or not, but I will definitely try to show my love to you. Maybe my love will force you to stay with me once... I love you."

"Bundela Pvt. Ltd., Sweta, I am proud of you."
Shweta, on hearing this from her father, looks at him with a mocking smile on her face. Mohan doesn't tell her anything; Mohan knows very well why Shweta did this.
"Sweta, You know very well that even if I shared this thing with you, I wanted a son. Despite that, I have not shown any lack of love for you. Your mother passed away after giving birth to you. But I have left no stone unturned to love you. I have always tried to give you the best I can. But I have not understood this attitude of yours till date."
"You always wanted a son like Jagdish, which you could not get, so you pushed me towards Jagdish from childhood, saying that I had to marry only him."
"I didn't do anything wrong with it. Jagdish is the best life partner for you. Do you know this too?"
"I know..."
She sighs heavily and turns toward the window. She closes her eyes, and Shivam's smiling face appears in front of her. Even after 19 years of tying the sacred knot with Jagdish, Shweta could never forget Shivam, and that is why she could never even fall in love with Jagdish. Neither she can tell this thing to anyone nor is she able to divert her attention from it. She suddenly says,.
"They are inviting our company to London, and you know that I cannot go to London because of my health. It would be better if you moved to London to handle the project yourself."
Mohan loves seeing his daughter's love and behavior towards Jagdish. That's why he's always wanted them to be happy with each other. He is happy and tells his daughter he is happy to see her with Jagdish. He says this to her.
"Fine… I know very well that you have to handle Jagdish's company in the same way as you handle this company here, and I like it very much. There is no big problem with it. I will go there to represent the company. Have you got any information about the CEO of this company? He is a very private person."
"Yes, his name is M. Sisodiya. He is the adopted son of Digvijay Bundela. And it is only after the death of his father that he is handling his company. He took over the whole company as soon as he was 18 years old, and his knowledge is much better than the knowledge of a young businessman, due to which his company is progressing day by day."
" Impressive… I really love to meet him."
"Mr. Sisodia's assistant will call to discuss the further plan. You will attend and clear up the whole thing. I am getting late; Jagdish must have come home by now. Today, there were a lot of meetings back-to-back. Due to this work, we are not able to give time to each other, so today I have planned a small dinner, so I have to go early."
Shweta starts leaving from there, but seeing his daughter like this, Mohan also knows very well that she is ignoring the pain in her heart and moving ahead in her life. But life is not going that way. That's how she wants to run.
"Sweta… "
Sweta stopped, but her heart was not ready to listen to her father, as she knew very well where it would lead.
"What is the problem if a child comes between you and Jagdish? Look, I am not telling you anything wrong. I know you love your daughter very much. She has gone away from you. I do not comprehend why you two continue to stagnate in your lives when that girl has been missing for the past two and a half years."
"We have progressed so far in our lives that perhaps this thing is leaving us far behind. You will be very surprised to know this. But the truth is that I only gave birth to Mahi. Mahi's mother, her father, her brother, her sister, and her family were all Jagdish, and today Jagdish is very upset after losing his beloved daughter Mahi. So the matter of another child is a long way off. He has forgotten to think about himself, and the topic of bringing a child into our lives has neither happened before nor will it ever happen because this can never happen ever."
Hearing all this, Mohan's eyes widened, as he did not know anything like this. He holds Shweta's hand and turns her towards him. To know the actual meaning behind this, Shweta says while looking into her father's eyes with tears in her eyes.
"I want to give Jagdish everything he deserves, but I am not worthy enough to give him anything...."
The ground slips from under Mohan's feet. He does not believe at all what his daughter just said in front of him; he is getting very angry at his daughter. At the same time, his anger for Mayil has increased even more.
"How can you lose your ability to become a mother after giving birth to that lousy thing? How can you be like this? You should cure yourself and get your treatment. How did you let this happen?"
Sweta laughs out loud as she hears him, and tears well up in her eyes. She doesn't know what to tell her father, but what he told her is giving her so much pain. She cannot even describe this with her words. She simply wipes her tears silently and walks away.
