CHAPTER 61

Mayil points a gun at her head. She sees a new form of Mrityunjay, which she has not seen at all to date. Mritunjay also had never seen her in such a way; she is out of mind and can do anything to herself—the way in anger he was moving towards her by looking at her. Her hands and feet start trembling. She feels totally numb, like she will collapse at any time.

"Shoot me."

His voice is very intimidating to her. Her demeanor suggests she is adamant about retaining the firearm, and she sincerely does not wish to relinquish it either. However, despite the repeated advice from her mind to simply hold onto it and shoot him, the sight of his suffering causes her heart to ache. He is very troubled by looking at her with a gun.

Mritunjay loses his mind totally when he sees Mayil holding a gun target on her head. He doesn't believe at all that Mayil is trying to harm herself in a way he never imagined in his nightmares. He is panicking for her, but he is very angry too.

The care and pain in Mrityunjay's eyes give her pain; she is not in proper condition. Mritunjay immediately comes close to her and holds her hand so hard that she feels that perhaps her wrist will be broken today. In response, she starts to get rid of his grip on her wrist. But he immediately puts her gun on his chest and tells her.

"You want to be free from me? I am making you free?."

He is just about to press the trigger with his thumb on her finger, and she immediately points the gun towards the ceiling, and fire echoes, causing a sprained her wrist because he held her hand too hard. The pain that he sees in her eyes at this moment is unbearable for him. But the moment she pointed the gun at her and asked her to free herself from here, he felt as if his life itself was going away from him. He also wants to meet Mayil and her parents, but today he has realized how unbearable it is going to be for him to go away from her, so he thinks it is better to kill himself rather than stay away from her.

He again presses it on his chest, but she turns and again targets somewhere else. She is in pain, but Mrityunjay does not leave her hand because he is totally blind in his anger. He just wants to shoot himself by putting her gun on his chest by any means.

"Jay, leave my hand."

"No, shoot me and free yourself."

Mayil is trying to get her hand out of his grip by any means. But as if he were not ready to leave, he immediately pointed her gun at his chest. But Mayil then slips and takes the gun upwards. But just then, Mrityunjay presses the trigger quickly, and the bullet hits his shoulder.

"Jay….."

He looks over his shoulder very calmly, puts the gun again on his chest, and immediately presses the trigger, but the gun has run out of bullets, so the bullet cannot fire. He looks around for the guard whose gun Mayil snatches, quickly takes out his gun, and fires on his leg while shouting at him.

"You have loaded only three bullets in your gun; if anything happens, will you do the job of refilling the gun at that time? ..."

Seeing Mrityunjay's anger, everyone is trembling there, and no one dares to come near him and stop his madness. Mrityunjay again looks at Mayil, who is only looking at him at this time with tears in her eyes. He says he is holding his gun to her, looking into her eyes.

"To die by your hands would probably be too relaxing."

But this time Mayil pushes him backward with all her might, throws his gun out of her hands, and screams loudly, looking at him with anger.

"Shut up, shut up."

Mrityunjay comes out from somewhere with a jolt and also realizes what he was doing when she screams like this. He feels suddenly falls silent and looks at her while racking his long fingers in his gelled hair. But Mayil immediately comes to him, looks at his shoulder, and, while checking, shouts at the people standing there.

"Do not see anything... Call a doctor; he is bleeding."

She was wiping her tears from the back of her hand but didn't stop; Mrityunjay's eyes were stuck on her. Looking at him, it did not seem that he was in any kind of pain. He is just looking at her face, which gives him immense peace that he is starving.

The doctor, who is always there for emergencies, comes there, checks his wound, and tells him immediately.

"Sir, quickly come to the medical room. The bullet has passed through your shoulder, but the blood is flowing continuously, so it has to be stopped immediately."

Mayil's breath hitched midway. She was very worried for him; she shouted at the doctor while making him sit on the couch.

"So what are you doing to stop the blood? ..."

"Go to your room."

It is Mrityunjay's voice that takes everyone's attention. Mayil starts looking at him. Mrityunjay looks at her, and he does not want to see the tears in her eyes, which are causing him more trouble than his pain. She shakes her head negatively, as she wants to stay with him only, and says,.

"No… I want to be here."

Mrityunjay stands right in front of her and, looking into her eyes, speaks to her in very slow but very threatening words.

"GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW."

"Jay..."

"NOW……"

More tears slide from her eyes, but she runs towards her room. At the same time, Mrityunjay feels dizzy, but the doctor and his men hold him and take him to the medical room.

Mayil comes to her room and straight lands on her bed. She dips her face into the pillow and starts crying very badly.

"I shoot him... How can I shoot him... He is bleeding."

She does not understand anything much; she is just worried about Mrityunjay. Other than that, she doesn't have to think about anything. She is remembering only and only Mrityunjay again and again.

"Jay, please come back. I want to see you."

Today, for the first time, sleep is far away from her eyes. She doesn't feel for a moment that she will fall asleep in a while. She is just waiting for Mrityunjay because she can't see any trace of him far and wide. She had already forgotten the pain in her wrist and was pacing back and forth in her room.

After about 3 hours, she feels some moments in the room next to her and gets alert. She knows his men must also have come with him. So she waits for a while, and when she doesn't hear at all that someone is there in the room with him, she opens the door. Mrityunjay often used to come to her room, but she never went into his room. This is the first time she's going to his room.

She peeks inside; he is lying on his bed; his upper front is naked and bandaged; she comes close to him with slow steps; and tears again well up in her eyes. She stood beside Mrityunjay for some time. Perhaps he has been given a heavy dose, or else he would immediately open his eyes and look at her.

She takes out all the bullets, keeps them on his side table, and sits beside him to touch his shoulder to check his injury, but gets scared to touch him; she just softly touches his chest. Her fingertip touches his skin slightly. Because even by touching him lightly, she feels that he must be in pain. Even though he is unconscious of the intoxication of the drug at this time, a sob escapes unintentionally. She quickly gets up to go away, but he holds her hand.

She immediately turns toward him. He opens his eyes, looks at her, and, sitting on the bed, pulls her strongly towards him. She sits directly on his lap. Before he can say anything, she asks him.

"Jay, are you okay?"

"Why ….. It would have been very good for you if I had died, but I want to ask you if you could have completed your task in one bullet because I know your shooting skills. You shoot very well, so why didn't you shoot straight at my chest? In the middle of my forehead."

Mayil does not have any answers of any kind. All she knows is that she just wants to cry a lot, hiding herself in his arms at the moment. Without giving him any answer, she immediately sits on his lap while straddling his lap, puts her arms around his neck, hugs him, and starts crying.

Mritunjay feels as if he has the whole world in this one moment. He just stops for a while and tries to feel what just happened here. Suddenly, a smile appears on his face, and he holds her in his arms. She says.

"I am sorry... I simply desired to meet my parents without intending to cause you or anyone else any harm. Why do you do this?"

Her every word is absolutely true, and Mrityunjay knows this very well. He tries to handle her by lightly caressing her hair and informing her.

"When you put the gun on your head, I felt that you were harming yourself because of me, and then my existence was the biggest problem for you. So I just wanted to kill myself for you."

She looks at his face, and he is looking into her eyes, and she immediately puts her lips on his lips. Her amateur lips are moving on his; he is just starving for this. He holds her nape and starts moving his lips on her very gently first, then his turn into a little rough one. She grasps as he lightly bites her lower lips, after which he inserts his tongue into her delicate mouth to lick every crevice. She finds herself in a very beautiful feather that is touching her gently.

There is a lot of pain in her wrist, but it seems as if she does not want to stop herself in any case. Her hand is caressing his back and hair very well. She is very careful about his wound but responds to him regularly to show her feelings, which is bothering her a lot, but now everything is clear in her heart.

She can't see him in pain. She wants to see him all the time. Not being close to him bothers her too much. She knows that, even though she doesn't want to, she is drawn toward him. Yes, her heart wants him around her. She loves him.

His kiss turns very intense. She feels very dizzy and faints anytime, but he shows mercy, leaves her, and rests his forehead against her. They both pant and hungrily fill their lungs with oxygen. And say it together.

"I love you."
