Ruhanika's POV
Shivanshji helped me with my burnt hand but what he did next shook me to the core. He hugged me to his chest tightly and kissed me on the forehead. Lakhs of butterflies errupted in my stomach. Hey Mahadev, kitti gud-gudi ho rahi hai pet mein...hehehe
"Tum apna khayal kyun nahi rakhti ho Ruhh, jaan nikal jaayegi meri kisi din tumhe itni chhot lagte dekh kar." Shivanshji said still keeping me close to his head and I can clearly hear his hesrt thumping loudly in his chest.
"S-sorry...." My heart was fluttering so much that I could not speak anything.
"Koi baat nahi, khayal rakha karo apna aur ab aaram se so jao, hmm.." Shivanshji then made me sleep and covered me with the comforter.
Author's POV
Next morning, everyone was gathered for breakfast, while Ruhanika had her breakfast with Shivansh in the room. Ruhanika knew the reason for Shivansh to skip breakfast, so she made it her responsibility to get Shivansh have his breakfast in the room.
After breakfast, the youngsters and Dadu-Dadi were sitting in the living room whereas Shivansh had gone to office.
Aarav," Ha toh Bhabhi bataiye, kya socha aapne?"
Ruhanika,"Huhh?"
Aarohi,"Offo Bhabhi, resort ya garden?"
Ruhanika,"Jaisa aapko thik lage."
Aarohi,"Ha toh phir confirm hua, Resort rakhte hai. Haina Dadi?"
Dadi nodded her head in yes.
Aarohi,"Yessss.... Ab toh phir Raj bhai, kal ki hi booking kara dijiye. Bada maza aayega."
As the resort was decieded, Aarav slumped down on the sofa beside Ruhanika and kept his head on her shoulder.
Ruhanika,"Kya hua Aarav?"
Aarav,"Kuch nahi Bhabhi. Yeh humesha iski hi marzi chalti hai chhoti hai toh, par main bhi toh ladko mein sabse chhota hun na."
Ruhanika,"Kya tumhe resort nahi pasand."
Aarav,"Arey nahi nahi Bhabhi, mujhe toh bohot pasand hai resort jaana sabke saath."
Rajveer,"Toh kalse yeh natak kya laga rakha tha?"
Aarav,"Bas aise hi, yeh isko jaana tha na resort toh bas aise hi maine isko pareshan karne..hehe"
Everyone shook their head hearing his excuse and then all of them departed to their respective work.

Evening- 7pm
Aarav, Rajveer and Shivansh, all three of them came together from the office. Dadi and Dadu were sitting in the living room while Ruhanika was in kitchen.
As soon as Ruhanika saw the three of them coming, she brought glasses of water for them.
Dadi,"Aaj toh mera Ansh bhi badi jaldi aa gaya."
Aarav,"Arey Dadi, main mannatein kar ke laya hun inko. Kal resort jaane ki planning karne. Waise Bhabhi, woh aapki Aaru kaha hai?"
Just as Aarav had asked this, Mrs. Rajvansh and Surekha Chachi came there.
Surekha Chachi,"Aarav, iski Aaru kabse ho gai meri bachhi?"
Rajveer,"Chachi relax, Aarav bas aise hi keh raha tha. Aap itna gussa kyun ho rahi hai."
Aarav," Haa. Aur Badi Maa, Chachi aap dono bhi baithye na yaha, kal ki planning karni hai. Main Aaru ko bula leta hu."
Just then Aarohi came down the stairs.
Aarohi,"Aa gai main. Chalo planning karte hai. Waise mumma, papa ko bhi bula lijiye."
Surekha nodded and called her husband to join.
Aarav,"Haa toh Raj bhai, booking ho gai?"
Rajveer nodded his head when Mrs. Rajvansh spoke,"Main nahi aa rahi hu."
Aarohi,"Par Badi Maa, chaliye na puri family jayenge kitna maza aayega"
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Family ko jaana hai toh yeh dono kyun aayenge? Agar yeh dono aayenge toh main nahi aaungi." And she stood up and went to her room.
Rajveer got up and followed her to the room whereas Shivansh went to his room, followed by Ruhanika.

Shivansh and Ruhanika's room.
Shivansh sat on the couch and asked Ruhanika to join him. Then he carefully held Ruhanika's hands to not hurt her burnt part and spoke,"Ruhanika, kya tum meri ek baat manogi? Please?"
"Aap please mat kahiye, main aapki har baat manungi." Ruhanika spoke with a small smile on her face as she knew what he wanted to talk about, but she gave him his time to talk.
"Hum dono kal sabke saath nahi jaate hai. Please. Tum chaho toh main tumhe phir kabhi le chalunga par kal ka plan cancel rakhte hai."
Hearing his words, Ruhanika tenderly carresed her thumb on Shivansh's back of palm and spoke,"Main samajhti hun. Aap thik keh rahe hai."
"Meri wajah se main nahi chahte ki Rajveer ko apni Maa aur Aarav-Aarohi ko apni Badi Maa k bina family picnic pe jaana pade. Main nahi chahta ki Rajveer ko apni Maa k hote hue unke bina rehna pade."
Ruhanika gave him a small smile and nodded her head.
"Phir hum niche sabse baat kar lete hai."

Mrs. Rajvansh's room.
Rajveer entered Mrs. Rajvansh's room to find her sitting on the bed. He went and sat besides her.
"Maa, aap kyun Bhai aur Bhabhi ko saath nahi le jaana chahti? Maine aapke aur bhai k rishte k baare mein aapse kabhi koi baat nahi ki, par aap please aise bhai ko parivaar se dur toh mat kijiye."
"Raj, main us ladke se nafrat karti hun. Meri hasta-khelta parivaar ujada hai usnein aur..."
"Maa aisa kya karan hai jo aap bhai se itni nafrat karti hai. Main jaanta hu bhai ko adopt kiya gaya tha par usse kya farak padta hai maa. Papa ne unhe bhi toh apna naam hi diya hai na jaise mujhe diya hai. Toh kyun maa, aap kyun bhai ko nahi apna sakti."
"Mujhse iss baare mein behes mat kar Raj. Main use kabhi nahi apna sakte. Main toh tujhpe bhi uska manhoos saya nahi padne dena chahti thi par Maa sa ne aur Baba sa ne meri ek na suni. Tu jaa yaha se."
"Raj.." Rajveer turned back hearing Shivansh calling him.
"Bhai.."
"Raj, main aur Ruhanika kal nahi aa rahe hai. Main bahar sabko samjha diya hai aur tujhe bhi bata raha hu. Hmm?"
"Bhai par-"
"Par var kuch nahi Raj, Ruhanika ka bhi yahi manna hai aur mera bhi. Hum kal nahi aa rahe. Aur chal ab, aap dono khana khane aa jaiye sab wait kar rahe hai."
He then motioned at Ruhanika to which she nodded understanding him asking her to bring dinner in room.

In the bedroom.
They had just completed their dinner, when Ruhanika spoke,"Ji main aapse kuch puchu?"
Shivansh nodded at her asking her to continue.
Ruhanika,"Woh kal ghar pe bus hum hi hai, toh main aapki pasand ka khana banana chahti hun. Aap bata dijiye ki kya banau?"
Shivansh,"Meri pasand ka. Kuch bhi bana do Ruhh sab chalega."
Ruhanika,"Nahi nahi, aapki pasand ka hi banega. Kal lunch, dinner aur parso subah ka breakfast. Kyunki sab parso lunch time tak hi aayenge."
Shivansh,"Mujhe toh meri pasand bhi yaad nahi Ruhh. Saalo se kisine puchi hi nahi."
Ruhanika,"Mujhe hi bata dijiye, please."
Shivansh,"Mujhe na Pav-bhaji bohot pasand hai. Meri Ammi banati thi, ekdum teez mirchi wali tasty si."
Shivansh's eyes lit up talking about his favourite. It was not about food, it was more about someone asking him about his favourite thing, giving him a chance to talk about himself, his likes, his needs. Ruhanika smiled seeing him talking like a child.
"Aur-"
"Aur na mujhe south indian khana bhi bohot pasand hai. Ammi jab bhi dosa banati thi na toh Papa aur main humesha compitition karte the ki kaun zyada khayega aur phir Ammi dosa banate banate thak jaati thi." He chuckled with tears in his eyes remembering his parents.
"Aur-"
"Aur mujhe woh, dal-chawal k saath aalu ki sabji. Aur mujhe na woh ek sabji banati thi Ammi, saari vegetables mix karke jo bhi ghar mein hoti thi. Bohot tasty hota tha."
"Aur meethe mein"
"Meethe mein toh mujhe moong dal ka halwa bohot pasand hai, par mere teeno bhai behen mein kisiko nai pasand."
Shivansh realised that he was speaking about himself after so long amd it was his Ruhh that had asked him. He quickly hugged Ruhanika hiding his face in the crook of her neck and spoke,"Thank you Ruhh, mujhe toh yaad bhi nahi maine kab yeh baatein yaad ki thi. Thank you so much Ruhh."
Ruhanika was shocked to the core. She felt thousands of butterflies in her stomach when Shivansh's lips touched her neck. She could feel his lips move when he was speaking. She gently wrapped her hands around Shivansh ans spoke,"Main wada karti hu Shivanshji, main aapki pasand ka aur aapka dono ka khayal rakhungi. Hamesha."
Hearing her, Shivansh slowly detached himself from her and kissed her forehead mumbling a thank you.

Next morning,
Everyone left for the resort after having breakfast. Shivansh was leaving for office, when Ruhanika came there.
Ruhanika,"Shivanshji!?"
Shivansh,"Hmm, bolo, kuch kaam tha?"
Ruhanika,"Ji, woh yeh puchna tha ki aapka lunch office kiske saath bhejna hai?"
Shivansh,"Arey tum lunch ki chinta mat karo, main office mein kha lunga."
Ruhanika,"Arey par main pav-bhaji banane wali hu. Kya driver bhaiya k saath bhijwana hai lunch?"
Shivansh,"Ek kaam karo na. Tum driver k saath office khud aa jaana lunch le kar."
Ruhanika,"Main, par main kaise aa sakti hu?"
Shivansh chuckled at her innocent question and spoke,"Driver k saath Ruhh. Main tumhara intezaar karunga, hmm."
Ruhanika nodded at his words and spoke,"Kya main aaj Rajesh uncle ko aur baaki sab ko chutti de du?"
Shivansh frowned at her question not understanding her demand.
Ruhanika,"Woh staff ko chutti de du? Hum do jan hi hai toh unhe bhi chutti mil jaayegi ek din?"
Shivansh nodded at her and left after that.
After Shivansh left, Ruhanika went to the kitchen and told the staff that they can take a leave today and started preping for pav bhaji. She prepared food and then went to her room.
As she entered the room, she thought,"Office kaise kapde pehenke jaate hai? Aaru se puchu?" Ha Aaru se hi puchti hu."
She called Aarohi.
On call-
Aarohi,"Hi Bhabhi, kaise yaad kiya mujhe?"
Ruhanika,"Woh Aaru, mujhe aaj Shivanshji k office jaana hai toh main kya pehnu? Office kaise kapde pehente hai?"
Aarohi knew better than to tease her on this topic as she knew Ruhanika was not much familiar with such things. Hence, she skipped teasings and answered her genuienly.
Aarohi,"Bhabhi, Office toh aap ek achha sa suit pehen ke jaiye. Aap usmein bohot sundar lagengi aur ha Bhabhi, office mein jo kaam karte hai unhone western outfits pehne honge toh unko dekh k aap bilkul bhi awkward mat feel karna. Aap suit pehen k jaienge toh bhai bohot khush honge."
Ruhanika,"Thik hai Aaru, jaisa tum kaho. Thank you."
Aarohi,"Always Bhabhi,Bye.."
After the talk with Aarohi, Ruhanika quickly changed into a baby blue coloured Anarkali. Aarohi had bought Ruhanika a lot of Anarkalis due to her love for it.
Ruhanika tied her hair neatly into a braid, wore small jhumka, and applied bindi and left for Shivansh's office.
But she never expected, that such an incident would take place at office. Though she had never been to office but she knew that this was not supposed to happen.
