Author's POV
Morning,
Everyone was having breakfast including Shivansh and Ruhanika as per Dadu's orders.
While having breakfast, Dadu cleared his throat gaining everyone's attention.
Dadu,"Ansh beta, hum soch rahe the ki hum haveli jaaye usse pehle ek baar Ruhi beta k Maa-Papa ko dinner par bulaye. Shaadi k baad unse milna hi nahi hua hai. Kya kehte ho tum done beta?"
Shivansh did not say anything just looked at Ruhanika waiting for her to speak. Ruhanika realising that Shivansh wants her to speak felt a sense of satisfaction that her opinion matter to him.
Ruhanika,"Dadu, jaisa aapko aur Shivanshji ko thik lage."
As she said Shivanshji, Shivansh turned to her and spoke,"Phirse. Kitni baar samjhaya?"
Ruhanika,"Sorry, woh. Dadu, jaisa aapko aur Shivansh ko thik lage."
Before Dadu could say anything, Aarav chimed in not leaving a chance to tease his Bhaiya Bhabhi.
Aarav,"Aahaaa Bhabhi, Shivanshji se Shivansh. Not bad haa."
Ruhanika could feel her cheeks warming up, so she kept her head low due to shyness.
Shivansh glared at Aarav to which he made a puppy face and turned quite.
Shivansh,"Dadu, agar Ruhi ko koi problem nahi hai toh mujhe bhi koi problem nahi hai."
Dadi,"Toh phir thik hai, aaj raat hi hum Ruhi beta k ghar walo ko dinner pe bulayenge."
Surekha,"Par Maaji, iske ghar walo ko kyun bulana hai aapko. Agar aap milna milana hi chahte hai toh achhi se party rakhiye na humare class k hisaab se. Inhe ghar pe bulane ki kya zaroorat hai."
Before Dadi could say anything, Surya Singh Rajvansh, Shivansh's Chachaji spoke,"Ye kya bol rahi ho Surekha? Samdhi hai woh humare, tamis se baat karo aur Ruhi ko bhi toh milne ka mann hoga apni family se. Maa-Papa aapne jo decision liya hai woh hi thik hai. Jaisa aapko thik lage aap wahi kijiye."
Yes, Shivansh's Chachaji was never a bad person. He never spoke much in between the family matters. He used to be a fun loving guy, but after his elder brother's death, he became reserved. He never hated Shivansh. He loved all four children equally.
After saying this, he got up and went to the office. He is the Chairman of Rajvansh company. Earlier he was the CEO but after his brother's death, he was made the Chairman and Shivansh was given the position of CEO according to his father's will.
After the discussion, everyone left for their work whereas Dadu called Ruhanika's family for dinner at night.

In the evening, everyone came home early from work as instructed by Dadi.
Shivansh came from office and went to his room to freshen up as his in-laws were coming. In the room, he saw Ruhanika ready in a baby pink Anarkali suit, small jhumka adorned in her ears with mangalsutra in her neck. Her hair were tied in a nice braided hairstyle with Sindoor in her hairline.
She was sitting on the couch when Shivansh went to her and sat besides her.
Ruhanika,"Dadi ne kaha hai sabko 7 baje tak ready ho jaana hai. Aap bhi ready ho jaiye."
Shivansh,"Ready to ho jaunga. Waise, main tumhare liye kuch laya tha.
Ruhanika,"Kya laye hai aap?"
Shivansh took out something from his blazer's pocket and forwarded his hands towards her. Ruhanika's eyes sparkled at the thing in his hand. There was a pair of most beautiful silver anklets with small bells that would make small noise when moved.
Ruhanika,"Yeh toh kitni sundar payal hai!! Aap mere liye laaye? Par kyun? Kuch khaas hai kya aaj?"
Shivansh,"Kya ab ek insaan apni patni ko gift nahi de sakta? Waise yeh unn do dino mein jo tumne meri pasand ka khayal rakha hai uska gift hai. Ab tumne mere liye itna kuch kiya hai toh yeh chota sa gift meri taraf se, meri pyari si Ruhh ko."
Ruhanika blushed at the endearment amd spoke,"Par maine yeh gift k liye nahi kiya hai. Maine toh bas aapke liye kiya tha. Aap mujhe achhe lagte hai toh mujhe aapka khayal rakhna chahiye na."
Shivansh,"Bilkul Ruhh, mujhe pata hai tumne gift k liye nahi kiya mere liye kiya hai. Toh kya main yeh payal tumhe pehna du?"
Ruhanika,"Nahi nahi. Aapko payal pehnane mere pair chune padenge aur aap mere pair nai chu sakte."
Shivansh,"Achha! Aur kyun nahi chu sakta tumhare pair. Tum meri patni ho aur patni toh Devi ka roop hoti hai na."
Ruhanika,"Par aap meri pati hai aur mujhse bade bhi hai."
Shivansh,"Shhh!!! Bohot bolti ho. Ab ekdum chup." While saying this, Shivansh kept his index finger on her lips.
Then Shivansh got on his knees and made Ruhanika wear the payal.
Shivansh,"Kaise lag rahe hai?"
Ruhanika,"Bohot sundar! Aur dekhiye na yeh pair hilane pe aawaz bhi kar rahe hai. Kitne achha hai. Thank you Shivansh!!"
Shivansh,"Welcome Ruhh! Aur dekho tumne pehli baar mere bina toke mujhe Shivansh kaha hai, is baat pe toh tumhe ek aur gift milna chahiye."
Ruhanika,"Sachhi?! Aap ek aur gift denge? Kya layenge aap?"
Shivansh,"Woh toh surprise hoga. Yeh wala tha waise hi. Hmm?"
Ruhanika nodded and spoke,"Ab aap taiyaar ho jaiye 7 bajne wale hai."
With that Shivansh went to freshen up. After some minutes, he came out dressed in a beige polo t-shirt and white Pants looking handsome as ever.
Ruhanika,"Shivansh, aap kitne sundar lag rahe hai!!"
Shivansh spoke while fastening his watch,"Sundar kya hota hai Ruhh. Handsome bolo na."
Ruhanika,"Arey par aap handsome se bhi zyada achhe lag rahe hai."
Shivansh,"Pagal Ladki." With that he flicked Ruhanika's forehead. "Chalo niche."
As they reached downstairs, Dadu-Dadi were welcoming Ruhanika's family.
Dadi,"Arey, yeh dono bhi aa gaye. Aao bachho. Aaiye aap sab baithye."
Ruhanika's mother, not wanting her in-laws to think they were not here to meet their daughter, went directly towards Ruhanika.
Reema,"Kaisi ho meri bachhi?"
Ruhanika knew this was all a facade for her in-laws. She just nodded at her mother and shifted towards Shivansh. Shivansh who noticed this, decided to ask her about this later on.
Ruhanika's father, trying to sound genuine, could not keep it in him to not speak up.
Rajeev,"Tum thik ho na beta?"
Ruhanika, not interested in engaging in convo with them just nodded and then turned to Dadi.
Ruhanika,"Dadi, main kitchen mein dinner ki taiyaari dekh leti hu."
Dadi nodded at her and she went to the kitchen.
After talking for some time, they went to dining table for dinner and Dadi asked Mrs. Rajvansh and Surekha to come as well. They were under orders of their mother-in-law which they could not defy.
As all of them took places on the dining table,
Reema,"Ruhanika, tum baith kyun gayi? Sabko khana toh paroso."
Before Ruhanika could react, Shivansh spoke up,"Meri Ruhh sabke saath hi khana khati hai. Aur serve karne k liye staff hai."
Reema, embarassed tried to hide with a chuckle,"Bilkul. Main toh bas-" Before she could say any further, Aarohi spoke up,"Aunty, woh Bhabhi Maa hai humari. Zara dekh k." The siblings were not happy with them here but could not go against Dadi.
During the dinner, no one spoke much. After dinner, all were sitting in the living area having desserts, when Reema spoke,"Ruhanika, mujhe washroom jaana tha. Dikha dogi beta?"
Before Ruhanika could reply, Aarohi spoke up,"Aaiye aunty main le chalti hu."
Reema with a chuckle spoke,"Arey beta, mujhe meri beti k saath do minute bitane mil jaayenge."
Both Reema and Ruhanika stood up and started moving towards washroom with Ruhanika showing path. As they neared the washroom, Reema cornered Ruhanika.
Reema,"Bohot zyada tevar aa gaye hai ameer ghar mein shadi kar k. Bhul mat yeh shaadi humne karvai hai." With the she held Ruhanika's jaw firmly and continued,"Humare yaha idhar udhar muh maarne jaati waise mat jaana, agar inhone nikal diya na ghar se toh mere ghar mein jagah nahi hai toh yah thik se rehna, Samjhi? Warna baaki ki zindagi sadko pe hi nikaal ni padegi."

On the other hand, in the living room, after the two ladies left, Shivansh followed them with the reason of a phone call. As soon as he reached the spot, he was shocked to see Reema holding Ruhanika's jaw in a tight grip and speaking ill to her.
Without wasting time, Shivansh reached out to Ruhanika and relieved the grip on Ruhanika's jaw and swat away Reema's hand, who was shocked to see Shivansh there.
Shivansh took Ruhanika in a side hug, who hid her face in his chest and clenched her fists on his shirt.
Shivansh,"Yeh aap kya kar rahi hai Ruhh k saath? Himmat kaise hui meri Ruhh se aise baat karne ki aur use haath lagane ki."
Shivansh then turned to Ruhanika and softly touched the area where Reema had her grip.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, jaana thik ho tum?"
Ruhanika just nodded her head and again buried her face in his chest.
Shivansh started walking towards the living room along with Ruhanika followed by Reema.
In the living room,
Shivansh,"Mr. and Mrs. Rathi, bohot hua. Aap ab jaiye yaha se, aur dobara yaha aane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai."
Dadu,"Kya hua hai Ansh?"
Shivansh,"Dadu, inhe koi washroom nahi jaana tha. Andar yeh meri Ruhh ko dhamka rahe the ki yaha thik se rehna, humne nikaal diya toh sadak pe hi rehna padega aur inke ghar mein koi jagah nahi hai."
Shivansh's words were followed by gasps.
Shivansh,"Itna hi nahi Dadu, yeh dekhiye Ruhh ke face pe nishan. Kitni zor se uska jaw pakda tha."
Dadi did not waste a second to reach out to Ruhanika and engulfed her in a hug,"Ruhi mera bachha, thik hai na tu beta?" who just nodded.
Dadu,"Humare ghar ki Lakshmi k saath yeh sab karne ki himaat kaise hui aapki? Raj, Aarav."
With that Rajveer and Aarav escorted them out of the house, not before warning them.
After they left, Shivansh picked up Ruhanika and took her to their room.
He made her sit on the bed, gave her a glass of water and sat besides her.
Shivansh,"Ruhh yeh pehli baar nahi tha na?"
Ruhanika shook her head in a no.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, meri taraf dekho baby."
As soon as Ruhanika looked into Shivansh's eyes, her eyes gave up and she cried hard in his arms.
Shivansh,"Mujhe bataogi Ruhh, jo sab hua hai?"
Ruhanika nodded and started speaking,"M-maa au-aur" Shivansh cut her off in between,"Shhh, shant ho jao Ruhh pehle."
Ruhanika took a deep breath and calmed herself a bit and started again,"Maa aur Papa ko ladka chahiye tha aur ladki nahi. Lekin mera janam hua. Ladki unhe nahi chahiye thi. Aur mere aane k baad kaafi time tak dusre baby k liye try kar rahe the par hua nahi tabse mujhpe gussa karna start kiya tha. Chhoti chhoti baato pe gussa karte aur chillate the par kabhi haath nahi uthaya tha. Phir jab main 7 saal ki thi tab Shrey aaya. Maa papa usse bohot pyaar karte the. Ek baar jab main 10 saal ki thi tab Shrey k saath khel rahi thi aur Shrey ne galati se apni toy car apne hi sar pe maar di. Phir woh rone laga toh Maa aur Papa mujhpe gussa ho gaye. Tab pehli baar unn dono ne mujhpe haath uthaya tha. Phir tabse mujhpe haath uthana bhi chalu ho gaya."
Shivansh,"Ab main kabhi kisi ko tumpe haath nahi uthane dunga. Aur tumhare Maa Papa ko bhi iski saza milegi."
Ruhanika,"Nahi Shivansh, woh mere Maa-Papa hai. Jaise bhi ho unhone mujhe janam diya hai aur bada bhi kiya hai."
Shivansh,"Thik hai. Jaisa tum chaho meri jaan. Par aaj k baad unse milogi nahi. Atleast meri absence mein nahi. Hmm?"
Ruhanika nodded.
Shivansh,"Waise Ruhh, kya Shaadi k liye bhi tumhe force kiya gaya tha? Kyunki jaise tumhari Maa keh rahi thi?"
Ruhanika,"Haa. Meri marzi nahi puchi gayi thi tab par usse mujhe koi problem nahi hai. Jo hua hai achha hi hua hai. Agar shaadi nahi hoti toh mujhe aap nahi mikte na."
Shivansh,"Buddhu, chalo ab tum so jao, hmm?"
Ruhanika nodded and stood up. She then went to the window area and covered herself with the blanket and slept. Shivansh felt a bit of sadness seeing her go, but he controlled it. They still had a long way to go.

In Rajveer's Room.
Rajveer was on call with Parinidhi. He told her everything that happened today.
Parinidhi,"Veer mujhe na itna gussa aa raha hai na. Mann toh kar raha hai Bhabhi k ghar walo ko toh main."
Rajveer,"Shant ho jao meri Gada Dhari Bheem."
Parinidhi,"Tum chup raho."
Rajveer,"Achha suno na. Main soch raha hun ki ghar pe baat karlu. Dadu-Dadi se toh tum mil chuki ho. Maa se baat karlu, ab bas shaadi karni hai tumse."
Parinidhi,"Bilkul jaan-e-mann. Mummy bhi puch rahi thi ki tum dono kab kar rahe ho shaadi?"
Rajveer,"Ha ab Bhai ka number ho gaya hai toh ab meri baari hui na."
Parinidhi,"Thik hai. Kal milte hai. Bbye. I love you jaan-e-mann."
Rajveer,"Bye, I love You Idhi."

2 days later.
Dadu-Dadi has left for haveli.
Today Rajveer has asked everyone to be present as he wants to talk to all of them. Everyone is present and Rajveer clears his throat and starts speaking,"Maa, woh, mujhe Shaadi karni hai."
He heard a group of whats, that were from Aarav, Aarohi, Surekha and Mrs. Rajvansh.
Rajveer,"Maa, ek ladki hai Parinidhi. Main usse pyaar karta hun. Aap ek baar mil lijiye."
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Pehle mujhe uske baare mein sab kuch batao phir baat."
Rajveer,"Maa, woh architect hai. Uski apni company hai. Aur apni family k saath rehti hai. Hum college se jaante hai aur pyaar bhi karte hai. Mujhe usi se Shaadi karni hai." Rajveer said with confidence and determination to marry his love.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Itni information ka main kya karu? Mujhe saari details do. Woh konse khandaan ki hai, uski family humare barabar ki hai ya nahi, sab kuch. Ek baar milne k baad sochungi. Tabhi main tumhari shaadi karvaungi."
Rajveer,"Maa main saari details de dunga aur meeting bhi ofcourse karwaunga hi but Shaadi main usi se karunga."
Mrs. Rajvansh did not say anything and left. Surekha left without a word. After the ladies left Surya spoke up,"Raj bete, I am sure tumhari pasand ki hui ladki achhi hi hogi. Tum uski family se baat karke milna fix karo."
Rajveer nodded at his Chachu and then Surya went his way.
After the elders left, Rajveer was bombarded with question about his ladylove from the youngsters excluding Ruhanika who was sitting and listening.
To shut them up, Rajveer spoke up, "Batata hu sab batata hu. Aur bhai aap bhi. In dono ko toh itna interest samajh aata hai, aap bhi?"
Shivansh,"Ab jan na toh mujhe bhi hai ki mera bhai itne saalo se kisse chup chup k pyaar karta hai?"
Rajveer,"Kya bhai aap bhi!"
Aarav,"Raj bhai aap sharma rahe ho?"
Aarohi,"Oohooo bhai... batao na humein humari hone wali Bhabhi k baare mein?"
Rajveer,"Batata hu. Ha toh uska naam Parinidhi Sharma hai-"
Aarav,"Aachhaa.... tab toh bhai aapka sharmana banta hai. Sharmaji k damad banne ja rahe ho." And recieved a smack on the head from Shivansh.
Rajveer,"Thank you bhai. Ha toh woh 25 saal ki hai."
Aarohi,"Matlab Ruhi Bhabhi se badi hai Pari Bhabhi?"
Aarav,"Ha toh kya. Aur waise naam achha hai na- Ruhi Bhabhi aur Pari Bhabhi. Dono Bhabhi k naam itni cute aur achhe hai, Bhabhi bhi dono kitni achhi hai, humare bhai kyun kharab hai phir."
Yes, guys, you gussed it. He recieved a smack from his kharab bhai.
After talking more about Parinidhi, all of them went to their respective works.
