25. Chapter Twenty-Three
CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
BETSY
E xcitement bubbled inside of her as she bounced up and down in the car. They were parked outside of Hart’s Little Haven, a place she had wanted to go to since it opened. She couldn’t believe they were about to walk into the store.
Every Littles dream.
Or so she thought. It was one of her dreams and Daddy was making it true. Had he seen her list of things she wanted on her computer? Betsy had browsed their online store, making a list of things she wanted so when she went in, she could buy some.
She knew she wouldn’t be able to buy everything she wanted since she had to save up for the apartment, but that was in the past. Now she had money and didn’t have to pay for rent.
Unless Daddy was going to make her.
Her eyes went wide as she turned to Daddy.
“Are you going to make me pay rent and utilities?” she blurted out.
She needed to know before they went into the store so she could calculate how much money she needed in savings and how much she could spend.
“Where did that come from?” Daddy asked, turning towards her.
Shrugging, she looked away.
“Little one.”
“I just need to know so I can calculate how much I can spend today.”
How did he not see that? They were going to a big store for Littles and if she needed to be frugal with her money, she needed to know before she walked into the store.
“You are not paying any rent or utilities. The apartment has already been bought and I’m paying for everything else,” Daddy informed her. “There will be no argument on that. Daddy is taking care of you so let him.”
“Okay,” she whispered.
It felt weird to have someone else take care of her like that. She had always been in survival mode and taking care of herself.
“And as for going in there, I will be buying it. You will not.”
“You can’t do that!”
Daddy gripped her chin. “Baby, I can and I am.”
“But, bu–”
“No buts. I am paying for everything.”
She sighed and nodded. “Okay.”
There wasn’t much use in trying to fight it, even though she really wanted to. Daddy was going to get his way regardless.
“Good girl.”
She melted into her seat as he got out of the car and walked around. Betsy loved it when he called her a good girl but she loved it even more when he called her his good girl. It made her knees weak and she just wanted to jump his bones.
“Ready, baby?”
She grabbed Daddy’s hand and started to get out, only for her to get stopped. She gasped and looked down.
“Ooops,” she mumbled.
She had completely forgotten to unbuckle her seat belt. How had she forgotten to do that?
“Let me,” Daddy reached over, unbuckling it.
As he was pulling the seat belt away from her, his arm brushed up against her nipples, making her moan.
“Such a good baby,” Daddy whispered in her ear before kissing her temple.
“Shit,” she mumbled. “I’m sorry.”
“Betsy.”
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
“You know I don’t like it when you cuss.”
Betsy looked at him. “I’m sorry. I just, you caught me off guard. I wasn’t supposed to moan while we are in public.”
“Who said?”
“Uhhh everyone?”
Who wanted to hear other people moan in a parking lot? She understood if it was in a kink club, but out in the open like this?
“You can moan wherever you want.”
“That will embarrass you,” she pointed out.
There was no way she was going to moan again in public. Nope. Anyone could hear her and she didn’t want to embarrass Daddy.
“You won’t embarrass me if you moan out in public,” Daddy cupped her face.
“W-what?”
“You won’t embarrass me if you moan in public. I promise you won’t. If anything, I’ll make you moan more so I can hear it out in public. Unless that’s a hard no for you.”
“Uh, I don’t know.”
She had never thought about it that way. She always figured it would be the deciding factor of her partner, not her.
“You can think about it. Until then, I promise I won’t make you moan out in public. But if you want to try it again, let me know. I know sometimes it can be hard to figure out if you like it or not so we can do it in public and see if you like it. And if you find out you don’t, then you don’t and I won’t do it again but if you decide that you do, then I’ll make sure to do it again.”
Betsy blinked several times. She had dated once and the guy wasn’t this considerate at all.
“Are you an angel?” she whispered. “Are you a real person?”
Daddy chuckled. “Yes, baby. I am real and no I am not an angel.”
“But.”
“But what?”
She shook her head. How could he be that considerate then? How could he be so perfect and care about what she wants and not what he wants?
“Betsy?”
“You are just perfect and considerate,” she blurted out.
“I am not perfect. I have a lot of flaws, but I’m flattered you think I am. And I’m considerate because it’s not only me in this relationship. You are part of it and I want you to be comfortable and happy. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable and dread being in this relationship.”
“Oh.”
“So if you ever feel uncomfortable or just like something is wrong, you come to me and we will talk about it.”
She nodded.
“Words.”
“I understand, Daddy.”
“Good girl. Now, are you excited about going into the store?”
Smiling, she nodded. “Yes!”
Daddy helped her out of the car and they walked towards the store.
“I’m nervous.”
“Why are you nervous?” Daddy asked.
“I’ve never been in here before. Do you think it’ll be busy?”
She didn’t want to be around crowds, especially when it came to being in a store like Hart’s Little Haven. Would she know anyone in there? Would they make fun of her for being a Little?
“Everything is going to be okay. From what I heard, it’s never crowded,” Daddy calmly said. “There is no need to worry. I am here to protect you if anything happens which nothing will.”
She gripped onto his hand tighter as they walked through the doors. It was massive inside, aisle and aisle of different things a Little could and would want.
“Hello, I’m Sabastian–” he stopped talking.
Betsy looked over and stilled, her eyes going wide.
“Betsy?” Sabastian said.
She never thought she would see him again.
“Sabastian. What are you doing here?”
“How do you two know each other?” Daddy asked, putting his body in front of Betsy’s.
She looked at Sabastian. Was she allowed to say how she knew him?
“We have a mutual friend,” she replied. “Umm. I.”
“It’s okay. I bet you’ve told him about our friend,” Sabastian said.
Heat filled her face. She had and she didn’t know if she was supposed to or not. Had she put him in danger? Both of them in danger?
“Betsy,” Daddy turned towards her. “What’s going on? How do you know him?”
“You remember the Jonathan guy I was talking about?”
Sabastian snorted. “Of course he would use the name Jonathan.”
She glared at Sabastian. “That’s the name he gave me. I know it’s not his real name. Hurt that he didn’t trust me with his real name though.”
They had gotten close in the short time he helped her.
“How do you know Sabastian then?” Daddy asked.
“Well, some nights we went out to eat, he would show up. We don’t know each other that well, not like Jonathan and I know each other.”
Daddy stared at her and she realized what she just said.
“Not like that! Jonathan would never! He was like a brother to me. He watched out the days he was around,” she rushed out before turning to Sabastian. “Have you talked to him recently?”
Hope bloomed in her as she watched Sabastian. She had missed talking to Jonathan.
“Uhh,” Sebastian looked uncomfortable.
“Oh, uhh he might not want me to know, right? I mean, he did leave without anything but a little note. I just, if you do, and you don’t have to answer, can you just tell him I said hi and I miss him,” She whispered towards the end, unsure if she should have said that. “I do kind of miss him, but he probably doesn’t miss me.”
“Betsy,” Sebastian said.
“No, it’s okay. I don’t want to put you in a tough position.”
“I’ll let him know, but he’s not in a good position to really reach out to anyone. I can say that he has checked in on you.”
Her eyes went wide. “Really?”
“Yes. I talked to him several months ago and he said you were doing good and somewhere in New York. I didn’t think I would ever see you again. Thought you had moved.”
“Ah, no,” she shuffled closer to Daddy. “I’ve always been here. It’s a big city and allows me to hide.”
“Hide?”
Betsy didn’t want to tell Sabastian what had happened. He would most likely tell Jonathan and he didn’t need that, not when he wasn’t in a good spot. She was worried about him. What had he gotten into to put him in that position?
“I think that’s enough for today,” Daddy said.
“Okay, Daddy,” she mumbled, relieved that he took over.
“How did you meet him? Shit. You’re part of the Ricci Crime Family. Is that what you meant by hide?” Sebastian said. “Dimitri isn’t going to like that.”
“Dimitri?”
Sabastian’s eyes went wide. “You heard nothing. Jonathan.”
So Dimitri was his real name. It suited him more than Jonathan.
“I won’t tell anyone, promise and Daddy won’t either.”
His eyebrow raised. “Daddy?”
“Uhh, well yes?” she replied. “We are in a Little store.”
Daddy swatted her bottom. “Don’t be rude.”
“I was just pointing out the fact that we were in a Little store, his Little store. It would be a little weird if we weren’t in a dynamic and came here.”
“Where did you meet him?”
“Pfft, we don’t have to get into that,” she waved her hand in the air.
“Why don’t you tell him how we met,” Daddy suggested.
She looked up at Daddy with her mouth hung open. No, he wouldn’t.
“Come on. I think it would be cool, unless you are uncomfortable.”
“I may or may not have hacked into Rogan’s Littles website and moved things around. Something really minor,” she softly said, hoping he didn’t hear.
“Shit. You did that?” Sabastian asked.
“I said may or may not have.”
“She didn’t know she was part of the Ricci Crime Family.”
“You didn’t do your research? Jonathan really isn’t going to be happy with that.”
She glared at Sabastian. “You aren’t going to tell him!”
“I think he should know. But I figure he might already know.”
“That’s how I met her. Now, she lives with me,” Daddy said.
“Are you okay with that, Betsy?” Sabastian asked.
She nodded. “I am.”
He didn’t need to know she wasn’t okay with it in the beginning. That she wanted to leave and never come back.
“Good. Well, we can exchange numbers when you are done shopping. Please do enjoy yourself here. If you need anything, there are red buttons around the whole store and myself or one of the workers will help you. We will leave you alone unless you press the button,” Sabastian explained. “I also want you to know that we have rooms in the back in case you need some place to have quiet, punishment, or put her down for a nap while you shop. You can punish her in the open if you want.”
“I will not need one of those rooms!” She was hurt.
Daddy and Sabastian laughed.
“Hmm, I think that was a lie,” Daddy said. “Do you remember what happened a couple days ago?”
Her hands went back to her bottom, covering it.
“Every Little is naughty. I don’t think I’ve met a Little that wasn’t naughty at some point,” Sabastian pointed out. “So never say never.”
She stuck her tongue out. “I will not need the room. I is a good girl.”
“Betsy, you are a good girl but sometimes good girls are naughty. You were naughty the other day,” Daddy said.
“You can’t say that out loud,” she turned to Daddy.
“He doesn’t know what, but just knows you were naughty like right now. You just lied and said you wouldn’t need the room. Do you know if you don't need the room? You can be naughty sometimes.”
She opened her mouth and closed it. She didn’t lie, but she might have if they ended up needing the room. Betsy continued to cover her bottom and took a step away from Daddy.
Daddy laughed and wrapped his arms around her.
“I hope you guys have a good visit. And remember, if you need anything to press the bottom and someone will be with you.”
“Thank you,” Daddy replied.
