Chapter 30 #3

"No, you can't. I already told you I need some time. Richa... leave", Akansha said sternly.

"Okay... I'll leave. But at least sit with me for a while. I need to talk to you about something", Richa insisted before pulling Akansha down beside her.

"Don't interrupt me. Just listen to me completely", Richa warned.

Unfortunately, Akansha unwillingly nodded. And that became her biggest mistake.

"Ansha... I didn't know he was Siya's father. Otherwise, I would have never allowed Siya to meet him... especially after knowing how much you despise Siya's father. I thought you only hated the CM because of what happened on the day Siya was born... That day-", Richa started explaining.

But Akansha immediately cut her off. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Because Shaurya heard every single word.

"Richa... Don't talk about it. Just leave now", Akansha said coldly, her heartbeat turning wild at the possibility that Shaurya had heard everything.

"No, Ansha... Please let me explain. You almost lost Siya that day because of him and his-", Richa started again.

But before she could continue, Akansha grabbed her wrist, forced her to stand up, and gently dragged her outside the house.

"I am already very upset and I don't want to discuss anything right now. Go home. We'll talk tomorrow", Akansha said coldly before shutting the door directly on her face.

Outside, Richa stared at the closed door in complete shock.

She immediately cursed herself for unintentionally dragging Akansha back into those horrifying memories.

Finally, Richa left quietly, deciding to speak to her friend later once she calmed down a little.

Meanwhile, Akansha walked back inside and collapsed onto the sofa while holding her head painfully. Her friend had completely ruined everything. The truth Akansha wanted to hide from Shaurya forever had now partially come out.

Not fully.

But enough.

And after hearing this much, Shaurya would definitely dig deeper until he uncovered the entire truth.

"Please... I am pregnant... let me go... Please... Don't do this..."

"We don't care... Until things go in our favor, we won't stop this."

"Ahh... Please admit me to the hospital... My water broke... P-Please...", she screamed painfully.

---------

"What was she talking about?", Shaurya's voice interrupted Akansha's thoughts.

"Nothing...", Akansha replied quickly while wiping the sweat from her forehead. Even remembering that day still sent shivers down her spine.

"What happened when Siya was born? I deserve to know, Akansha... Please tell me", Shaurya begged.

"No, you don't. You don't deserve anything... Just get out of my sight. I don't want to see you right now... Go", Akansha shouted.

"I will... but please calm down first", he said softly.

Akansha sat down on the sofa while clutching her head tightly as the pain started worsening again.

Shaurya immediately poured water into a glass and handed it to her. She slowly took a few sips before he quickly brought her medicine pouch which he had seen her placing on the shelf earlier that morning.

Akansha took a pill for her headache and tried calming herself down.

Understanding that his presence was only distressing her further, Shaurya quietly left the room and went to sit beside his daughter.

He could clearly see how disturbed his wife was.

-----------

Shaurya had already asked Dev's private investigator, Ashwini, to collect complete information regarding Akansha.

Now, after hearing Richa's words, he immediately texted him again and specifically instructed him to focus on everything that happened on the day Siya was born and gather all possible information as soon as possible.

The rest of the day, Shaurya handled a few virtual meetings while Siya slept peacefully beside him.

Though he had informed everyone he was unavailable for the day, there were still some important matters requiring his immediate attention.

But the moment he sensed Siya moving beside him, he shut his laptop instantly.

He first rushed to Akansha's room to inform her that Siya had woken up.

But seeing her resting after taking medicine, he didn't want to disturb her.

So he quietly returned and decided to handle his daughter himself.

Thankfully, Siya seemed to have temporarily forgotten her anger because she was still sleepy.

"Siya... You woke up?", he asked gently while ruffling her hair softly.

"Yes, Dadda... Mumma?", Siya asked sleepily while rubbing her eyes.

His heart fluttered hearing her call him "Dadda" so naturally.

"Mumma has a slight headache, so let her rest, hm?", he said softly before kissing her hair.

"Okay...", Siya replied before hugging him and resting her head against his chest.

Shaurya carefully carried her in his arms, helped her freshen up, and changed her clothes.

After that, he picked her up again and took her to the kitchen to feed her the juice he had prepared because by now, he had already learned a little about his daughter's daily routine.

"Ewwww... Dadda... No...", Siya complained while pushing away the spoon he was feeding her with.

Clearly, she disliked the taste and refused to drink it anymore.

"Okay... Okay... Mumma will make the juice again after she wakes up for you. Till then, let's eat something else", Shaurya said patiently.

"What?", Siya asked meekly, slowly slipping back into her angry mood again.

"Well... Dadda made cupcakes for his little unicorn... Wanna try them?", Shaurya asked softly.

Instantly, Siya's eyes lit up hearing both "cupcakes" and the word "unicorn".

"Am I unicon(unicorn)?", Siya asked excitedly.

"Of course you are", Shaurya replied before taking out the cupcakes and handing one to her.

Siya excitedly grabbed it and immediately took a bite.

"Yummy... Dadda... Very yummy...", Siya praised while taking another huge bite.

"I'm happy you liked it. I'll make more flavors for you... but eat slowly, bache. You'll choke yourself. Take small bites", he instructed gently while rubbing her throat worriedly, afraid the food would get stuck.

"And chew properly too", he added softly.

Thankfully, Siya obediently followed his instructions, much to his relief.

"Dadda... You said I'm unicon?", Siya asked again, and he nodded with a smile, making her grin happily.

"But I no have(don't have) magical horn like unicon. I also no magical powers(I don't have magical powers either)", little Siya questioned sadly.

"True... You don't have a magical horn, but that's because my Siya's pretty hair would get spoiled because of it, so God didn't give you one. But you do have magical powers", he explained dramatically.

Instantly, Siya became excited.

"I have? Whele(where)? What powel(power)?", Siya asked enthusiastically.

"You have the magical power to make anyone smile... especially Dadda and Mumma. No matter how much tension we have, it disappears the moment you give us a kissie, and we automatically start smiling", Shaurya explained lovingly.

Siya immediately grinned proudly after hearing about her "power".

"Leally(really)?", she asked again.

"Yes. If you want, you can test it right now. Dadda is sad, na? Give him a kissie and see for yourself", Shaurya said while pretending to look upset.

Immediately, Siya nodded excitedly before tightly kissing his cheek.

The next second, Shaurya broke into a huge grin.

Seeing the instant change in his expression, Siya clapped loudly in excitement after discovering her magical power.

"Yayyy... Yayyy!", she squealed happily.

Just then, Akansha walked into the kitchen.

The moment Siya saw her, she immediately ran toward her mother and hugged her legs.

"Mamabear... Dadda said I am unicon and I have magic powers", Siya informed excitedly.

"Yeah, I have seen that... Had your cupcake?", Akansha asked softly.

"Yes... yummy", Siya answered proudly.

"Okay, go and play with your toys. Mumma and Dadda have something to talk about", Akansha said casually.

But that simple sentence... especially the use of "Mumma" and "Dadda" together... made Shaurya's heart flip violently.

Till now, he had only dreamed of hearing things like that.

"Okay...", Siya replied before running into the hall and sitting down with her toys.

"Shaurya... Do something about her anger. You know she's only suppressing it and that's why she's behaving normally with you right now. This won't last forever. Think of a permanent solution to make her anger disappear completely", Akansha said seriously.

"I know... But I don't know how to make her believe that I love her more than anything and anyone else", Shaurya confessed helplessly.

"For that... you need to keep reminding her about the issue while also continuously assuring her that you love her", Akansha advised.

"How can I do that? She'll stop talking to me completely", Shaurya replied fearfully.

"But this is the only permanent solution. Stop running away from problems just like your daughter does. Face them and solve them from the root", Akansha advised firmly. Though unwilling, Shaurya nodded because he knew she was right.

That was their only option now.

"By the way, Siya didn't like this juice. I don't understand where I went wrong... I prepared it exactly the way I saw you make it", he said confusedly.

"Let me taste it", Akansha said.

Without thinking much, Shaurya immediately brought the spoon toward her mouth, and she tasted it reflexively. Only a second later did both of them realize what they had just done. Akansha instantly glared at him while Shaurya quietly muttered a small apology.

"Did you add honey?", she asked.

"Honey?", he questioned blankly.

Akansha nodded.

Shaurya shook his head.

"That's the issue. Add one spoon of honey and then feed her. She'll drink it", Akansha explained.
