Chapter 51 #3

The school guards straightened immediately and greeted him respectfully, still stunned by his sudden appearance there.

"Jiju..." Suman whispered instinctively before immediately correcting herself. "Sir..."

After everything she had done to both his sister and wife, she no longer felt worthy of calling him family.

Shaurya noticed the guilt and regret in her eyes clearly. No, he could never forgive her for the pain she caused Akansha and Aakriti — two of the three most important women in his life — but he also couldn't stand there and watch that a**h*le harass her.

"I think I do have the right to interfere," Shaurya said coldly, staring directly at Dilip. "Since I am family."

Dilip instantly broke into nervous sweat.

"Suraj," Shaurya spoke without taking his eyes off Dilip, "ask our legal team to assist Suman's lawyer with the divorce proceedings. Submit this video as evidence and file an appeal for fast-tracking the case. I want Suman and Harsh legally free from this bas***d as soon as possible."

His voice turned even colder.

"And get a restraining order against Dilip Gandhi."

"Yes sir. Right away," Suraj responded immediately while contacting Shaurya's legal team.

Shaurya took one step closer toward Dilip.

"If I ever see you anywhere near her or Harsh again, you won't come out of prison for the rest of your life."

The warning was soft, controlled... and far more terrifying because of it. Then he turned toward Suman.

"Get in the car."

"Jiju..." Suman's eyes welled up instantly.

But Shaurya had already walked back toward the vehicle. He didn't want unnecessary attention gathering around them. Thankfully, they had found Suman and Harsh near the back gate instead of the crowded front entrance.

Meanwhile, Suraj instructed the guards to immediately contact their local security staff if Dilip was ever spotted near Suman or Harsh again.

Suman gently held Harsh's tiny hand and tried consoling him before walking him toward the car. She understood very well that Shaurya wouldn't leave without ensuring they safely returned home.

"Mumma... whose car is this? It's so cool!" Harsh asked excitedly the moment he saw the vehicle. Then he added innocently, "It's even cooler than Mamu's car."

Despite everything, Suman smiled faintly at his excitement.

"That is your uncle's car," she explained softly. "Remember I told you about Akansha maasi?" Harsh immediately nodded. "It's her husband's car. Maasi is here too... chalo, let's go meet her."

The little boy instantly brightened up. His grandfather had told him countless stories about his brave maasi, and now he would finally meet her. Vasant had even shown him pictures from when Akansha used to carry him in her arms as a baby.

Both mother and son settled inside the car quietly. For a long moment, silence filled the vehicle.

Finally, Suman softly whispered, "Thank you..." But before she could continue, Shaurya spoke first.

"Does this happen often?"

His tone remained calm, but beneath it lay dangerous anger.

No woman deserved to go through such harassment — let alone his wife's sister.

"No," Suman replied quietly. "He was in jail for another petty case. I didn't know when he got released. Usually Akash arranges security whenever Dilip gets out, but this time... we didn't know."

Shaurya nodded once.

"With his criminal record, the court won't grant him custody. Then what's the issue?"

"He is using his parents cleverly," Suman explained bitterly. "They are fighting for Harsh's custody by claiming I cannot provide a stable life for him. They even filed false harassment charges against me."

Shaurya's jaw clenched.

By the time they reached home, Suraj had already stepped out with Harsh and opened the door for Shaurya. Suman hesitated outside the entrance, unable to gather the courage to walk in. But Shaurya's next sentence left her no room to refuse.

"Your sister is waiting for you."

And with that, he walked inside.

The moment Suman entered the house, her eyes immediately found Akansha.

All she wanted at that moment was to hug her sister tightly and apologize for every single thing she had destroyed.

Jaya slowly stepped out of her room too after hearing Harsh and Suman's voices.

Meanwhile, Akansha had already pulled Harsh into her arms, showering him with affection before introducing him to Siya.

"Siya bear, this is your elder brother, Harsh. And Harsh, this is your little sister Siya. Shake hands, both of you."

Instead of shaking hands, Harsh immediately hugged Siya. To everyone's surprise, Siya hugged him back just as tightly. Suman quickly recorded the moment on her phone with teary eyes and a trembling smile.

"My little sister is so pretty," Harsh declared proudly while pinching Siya's cheek. "I will save her from all the boys. I won't even let them look at you, Siya."

"It will hurt her," Shaurya said instinctively while gently rubbing his daughter's cheek.

Akansha immediately glared at him.

Realizing his overprotective instincts had surfaced again, Shaurya quickly recovered by affectionately ruffling Harsh's hair too.

The moment anything involved his wife or daughter, his senses automatically became hyper-alert. He genuinely couldn't help it anymore.

"I already like you," Shaurya told Harsh with approval. "You are a very smart boy. Always protect your sister like this." Then he looked at Siya too. "And you should protect your brother as well."

Siya nodded seriously while continuing to hold Harsh's hand. She looked extremely pleased about finally having an elder brother like some of her friends did.

"Yes! Mamu says brothers should always protect their sisters. That's why Mamu protects Mumma," Harsh said proudly before looking curiously at Shaurya. "Today you protected Mumma too. Are you also my mumma's brother?"

Shaurya only smiled faintly in response.

'No.Brother of the woman your mother destroyed.' The thought crossed Suman's mind painfully.

Meanwhile, the overprotective father in Shaurya had already followed the children into the room.

Within minutes, he started inspecting every corner for possible dangers — locking the balcony door, moving sharp-edged objects away, placing pillows near corners where the kids might get hurt, and then beginning an entire lecture full of instructions.

Hearing all this from the hall itself, Akansha held her forehead.

"Shaurya, come outside right now." Thankfully, that immediately stopped his speech midway.

"Take care, bacha..." he whispered seriously to the kids. "Actually, both of you just sit on the bed and paint. Safely."

"Dadda... Mamabear is calling you. Go... otherwise Mumma will get angly," Siya warned dramatically.

Shaurya chuckled at the adorable way his daughter threw him out without offending him. He kissed Siya's cheek, then Harsh's, before walking back toward the hall.

Jaya desperately wanted to speak to Akansha... to apologize... but Akansha never looked in her direction even once. Vasant silently signaled Jaya to either stay quiet or leave.

She remained rooted there silently, simply watching her daughter from afar before she left again. She longed to meet Siya too, but Vasant had stopped her.

"What did Harsh mean by protect?" Akansha asked directly while looking at both Shaurya and Suman.

She didn't have the emotional energy for small talk with her sister, so she went straight to the point. But Suman visibly hesitated.

After five long years, her sister had finally returned home... and the very first thing Akansha asked about was her problem. Guilt crashed over Suman brutally.

All her life, Akansha had protected and provided for them like a parent, and yet none of them had valued her enough.

"Was Dilip there?" Jaya guessed softly, pulling Suman out of her thoughts.

Suman nodded.

"But wasn't he in jail?" Vasant frowned. He barely spoke to Jaya or Suman anymore, so his question surprised both of them.

"Don't know when he got released... probably bribed his way out again," Suman replied bitterly.

Akansha instantly looked toward Shaurya in concern. She remembered what Akash had told her about Suman's divorce case. Her eyes silently asked him if he knew more details. Shaurya gave the faintest nod in reassurance.

She immediately shook her head slightly in return. She didn't want his direct involvement — only information.

Understanding her instantly, Shaurya answered calmly, "Suraj recorded the entire incident.

A restraining order will be issued against Dilip soon, and the case will also be fast-tracked.

His criminal record already works strongly against him.

" His gaze hardened slightly. "We'll find something against his parents too. "

Then he looked toward Suman.

"My legal team will contact you. Cooperate with them and provide all the necessary details."

Suman immediately folded her hands emotionally.

"Sir... please don't burden me with more debts." Then she looked toward Akansha.

"Di... please. You too stay away from all this chaos. You have already suffered enough because of Dilip... and because of me."

"I will do what I have to do," Akansha replied firmly.

She turned toward Shaurya, ready to ask him to stay away from the matter too, but before she could speak, he interrupted gently.

"Even if not as your husband, I will still act as the Chief Minister." His voice remained calm yet unwavering. "I would've done the same for any woman facing this situation. All I am doing is asking my legal team to guide her lawyer properly."

Before anyone could respond further, Shaurya's phone rang. After a brief conversation, he disconnected the call.

"My legal team has already contacted your lawyer. The necessary information is being shared," Shaurya said calmly.

The moment he finished speaking, Akansha started walking towards him with very determined steps. Shaurya instantly understood what was coming next.
