Chapter Three #2
Daddy took him shopping after the Christmas tree farm. They drove through Main Street, a tree strapped to their roof, and walked all the stores looking for the perfect decorations.
Daddy said he wanted to create a holiday theme all their own so he didn’t want to use any of the decorations in the attic.
Aiden, however, convinced Daddy that they needed to find a special ornament for the tree and at least one decoration to go in each room that represented Seth.
He felt the need to let Seth join in the festivities even if he was doing it from heaven.
“You’re so fucking precious, baby. So sweet.” Daddy had told him as he wiped a tear from his eyes, “It’s amazing that you want him to be a part of our lives.”
Aiden didn’t really understand why that made him special.
Daddy’s late husband was a big part of his life, and Aiden was believing more each day that Seth had somehow played a part in him and Daddy getting together.
Not only that, but every story Daddy told about Seth made Aiden more certain that if he’d lived, Seth and he would have been great friends.
“Well, he was a big part of your life and his memory should be honored,” was the only response Aiden could form and they fell silent as they navigated to the next store.
Nutcrackers were a definite theme in the decorations they chose, with a mixing of classic Christmas, like poinsettias, garlands, and the coup de grace of their holiday finds.
Aiden had found a nutcracker Christmas village and a Christmas tree shaped village stand with snow already on the shelves that held the village pieces.
Aiden had also snuck away to purchase some special pieces to place around the house. He’d keep them a surprise until he was ready to put them to use.
When they got back home, it took them several trips to get everything inside and one final trip for Daddy to wrestle the tree in and get it in its stand.
Once the tree was secured by the front window, Daddy headed to the kitchen to cook dinner while Aiden sorted through the decorations they’d purchased, looking for all the ornaments for Samuel the tree.
He knew it was probably silly to name a tree but he had promised Samuel that he’d be the most loved tree in Texas and that included naming him and making him gorgeous.
Rocky
It had already been a full day for the two of them but he highly doubted that his boy was going to wait until tomorrow to at least decorate the tree. Still, over dinner Rocky gave it his best shot, telling Aiden they could make a day of transforming their home into a Christmas wonderland.
It was no surprise, however, when Aiden argued for doing the tree that evening.
So after dinner, he popped some plain popcorn in the microwave and went in search of a needle and thread.
Once the corn had popped, he poured it into a bowl and gathered all the supplies together.
Carrying it into the living room, he asked, “You ever strung popcorn before?”
Aiden’s head turned his way and his eyes lit with that innocent joy that was just becoming more and more prominent. Rocky hoped to never see it dim again.
“I’ve seen it on tv but I didn’t realize people really did it.” As he spoke, he walked over and snatched a piece of popcorn into his mouth.
“Not many do anymore, but we’re going to.” Rocky knew he’d made the right choice when Aiden broke into a happy dance that was normally reserved for gaming accomplishments.
After the lights were strung around the trees and their brilliant colors tinted the room, they began stringing. Rocky did most of the popcorn garland after Aiden poked his finger one too many times with the needle.
While Rocky created their homemade garland, Aiden decorated the tree with precision and care, filling each and every hole until the tree looked as full and lustrous as any of the bigger, more expensive trees could.
They worked together to add the popcorn which took on the coloring of the closest light until it appeared to be a Christmas rainbow wrapping the tree. Rocky had never seen a more perfect tree.
“I want to give Samuel a hug, but I might mess up his makeover.” Aiden’s voice was wistful and his eyes suspiciously bright. Yeah, the tree was absolute perfection.
The next morning, Aiden was up early, bouncing and wiggling as he tried to contain his excitement. Rocky didn’t blame him for being unable to keep still, Aiden had never really celebrated Christmas before and was enthusiastic about his first real Christmas.
Rocky could understand. He hadn’t really celebrated in a few years– there hadn’t seemed to be much reason to celebrate.
He was more than ready to experience this season from his Little boy’s eyes.
So, he stretched and got up to make some breakfast, placing a kiss on Aiden’s lips and instructing him to, “dress festive,” on his way out of the room.
When he reached the kitchen, he programmed Christmas music to play as he worked and had to suppress a chuckle when Aiden came dancing into the kitchen belting, “Aalll I want for Christmas is...yooooooooooooou!” And placed a nutcracker wreath with a fat gold candle in the center of it on the island.
“Starting without me, baby?” Rocky couldn’t hide his smile if he tried, so he didn’t try to.
“No, Daddy. Just this one thing because I was gonna be in here anyway.” Aiden gave him innocent eyes as he kissed his cheek, and Rocky lost the battle with his laughter, ending up setting out the food while laughing at Aiden’s sweet antics.
After a hearty breakfast, the two of them got to work hanging garlands and placing poinsettias. Then Rocky assembled the village tree for Aiden to arrange the nutcracker village as he pleased. It was more fun than Rocky could remember having in a while.
As Rocky stored the boxes the decorations came in up in the attic, Aiden disappeared into the bedroom.
Rocky figured he must be taking a nap. They’d been up late last night and woken early that morning.
As he packed away the last of the boxes, he decided he’d do well with a nap himself and headed to the bedroom to join his boy in their bed.
When Rocky opened the door, however, Aiden was not asleep and it looked like their bedroom had become a mistletoe farm.
The prickly leaves and white berries seemed to be hanging over every square inch of their ceiling.
A person couldn’t take a step without finding themselves under the mistletoe and the triumphant gleam in his boy’s eyes told Rocky that had been the point.
“Oh, look, Daddy! You’re under the mistletoe! And gee...So am I! It must be fate!” The urge to roll his eyes at Aiden’s over-the-top acting was strong but instead he just played along.
“So it would seem, baby. How about you come give your Daddy a kiss?”
Aiden practically leapt into his arms and what Rocky had intended to be a sweet and short kiss quickly morphed into a heated and ravenous one.
Tongues and teeth collided in a dance as old as time.
Before he knew it, Rocky had Aiden pinned to the wall as he devoured the other man’s mouth.
He gripped Aiden’s ass and lifted until Aiden’s legs wrapped around his hips.
Their hard cocks ground together through their jeans.
A moan slipped from Aiden’s lips as soon as Rocky trailed kisses down Aiden’s throat, slipping his hands between them to free Aiden’s cock.
As he stroked the hard length of his love, he sucked on the sensitive skin where Aiden’s neck and shoulder met, relishing in his ability to freely mark this man as his. Rocky’s palm glided over the head of Aiden’s cock gathering precum to use as lube while he gently pumped.
Aiden’s head fell back against the wall and something fell from his hands. Curiosity had Rocky glancing quickly to see another sprig of mistletoe on the floor at their feet. Looking back at Aiden, he raised a brow in question.
“A little extra insurance. Just in case,” Aiden panted.
Rocky didn’t say anything, just secured his hold on Aiden as he carried the younger man across the room and laid him out on the bed.
They didn’t speak anymore as Rocky slowly undressed Aiden.
The only words to echo in the room were babbled nonsense sprinkled with a smattering of “Daddy!” as Rocky pleasured Aiden with his mouth, but when Rocky fucked his boy into oblivion, the words that echoed from the bedroom walls would make the Devil blush.
