9. Blythe

Chapter Nine

BLYTHE

I had to admit the work week was kind of bland not seeing Pharaoh.

When I went in on Monday and didn’t see him then his mother said he would be back in a week or two my body reacted in a way I didn’t expect.

I don’t usually care and I barely know him, so I tried to push him to the back of my mind and focus on my clients.

Seeing him in the lounge made my heart flutter slightly. And the shot glasses surrounding me proved that. When I glanced in his direction and he challenged me I knew I had to gain back my dominance over whatever this was. He had to understand, feelings be damn, every man gets treated the same way.

“You’ve been staring pretty hard.” Were the only words that came to my mind when I eased into his booth. I was channeling my inner Mistress Venin.

“Nah, just watching baby girl.” He smirked.

His voice low and laced in a velvet tone with a slight edge.

I watched him bring his cup to his lips and take a long slow sip.

His neck flexed as the liquid went down.

I licked my lips admiring how smooth everything was about this man.

His soft deep dark chocolate skin, brown eyes, perfect, slightly pink lips with a sharp cupid’s bow.

His hair was always cut and edged neatly like he cut it every morning himself, or his barber did house calls.

“What exactly are you watching?”

“The way you don’t even realize you own the room.

” He sat up resting his forearms on his knees.

His eyes scanned me from my face down to my breast and eventually landed on my legs.

I crossed one over the other giving him something to see.

“Men get timid as fuck when you look at them. They want you, but they’re terrified to approach or stare too long.

Good thing they don’t though, I feel like they would walk away embarrassed.

” I tilted my head at his last words. I studied his cool demeanor.

“And you? Are you not smart enough not to stare? Are you not terrified?”

“Fear isn’t in me baby. Control is.” My eyes slightly bugged and I swallowed hard to gain my composure.

It both irritated and turned me on, but I was sure my face read the former.

My brow was frowned. He wouldn’t gain control over me, and I was certain of that.

He sat back and took a pull on his lit blunt.

Blowing smoke towards me he never looked away.

The challenge was turning me on like crazy.

Like he said men feared me, so to have him not was intriguing.

I inched in closer to him making sure our bodies didn’t touch. Just enough for him to hear me clearly.

“Careful, Mr. McCallum. Control is my language too. And I don’t share.” We sat staring at each other for what felt like forever. He didn’t flinch and barely blinked. Clearing his throat, he inhaled deep from his blunt and inched closer to me. Speaking low to ensure only I could hear.

“Maybe you just haven’t met anyone fluent in the language you speak.

” His words hit hard like a lit match hitting gasoline.

It ignited me and also infuriated me. The feelings and emotions I keep buried stirred.

For the first time in years, I felt myself on the edge of giving up control.

And giving it to him. Mistress Venin never lost control, but Blythe, yea she was intrigued and wanted to know what it would be like to have his hands on her and her wrist bound for endless pleasure.

“Trust me love; you don’t want those problems.” I took the blunt from his hand and took a long pull.

The weed hit me instantly causing my mind to temporarily fog.

He leaned back low and widened his legs.

He watched me intensely, studying me like I was a major exam.

Never saying a word just forcing me to squirm in my seat.

I took several more pulls of his blunt before handing it back.

“Why did your mom call you hear?” I decided to change the subject to allow my body time to cool down from his gaze and to also regain control.

“Her and my pops need my expertise.” He spoke with finality. He seemed as if that was all he would give and it pissed me off.

“And what is your expertise, Sir?”

“I can show you better than I can tell you.” He licked his lips and sat up.

I placed my hands on the table to help ground me.

My center was screaming and soaking wet.

He was turning me on and pissing me off at the same time.

Reaching up he grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him.

My body flinched and caused my brain to be defensive.

I tried to tug myself out of his grasp and he pulled a little harder.

Not forceful but deliberate. He stared at me forcing our eyes to meet.

He scanned my eyes with a concerned expression.

He was speaking without words telling me it was okay.

But also asking if it was okay by the gentle caress on my skin.

“I don’t like being touched.” I spoke with my words laced in venom.

“It’s only because you haven’t been touched right baby girl.” He lifted my wrist and kissed the inside delicately. My body shivered and I closed my eyes for a moment embracing the tingling sensation it gave me.

What the hell was this man doing to me. Men didn’t hold eye contact but yet here he was. I don’t hold conversation with men unless they are begging, but here I was. And I for damn sure hated to be touched but yet he didn’t bother me the way it should, and I found myself craving more.

“It’s getting late. I need to go.” I gathered my things and rushed towards the entrance without so much as a glance back. On my way out I bumped into a hooded man but didn’t bother apologizing. I needed to leave quickly.

Walking out the door I searched the app to see where my driver was.

Lucky for me he was pulling up. He hopped out opening my door and I wasted no time hopping in.

I caught a glimpse of Pharaoh walking out the door calmly but with determination to find me.

He scanned the street in each direction looking for the way I went.

Our eyes met for a second and he winked before turning around and heading back inside.

Resting my head against the seat I took a slow deep breath and gently exhaled it out.

Pharaoh was dangerous and if I didn’t stay away, I would find myself losing control to whatever pull his ass had on me.

“So how did the rest of Friday night go?” Autumn asked as we set up for the next Pilates pose.

It was Sunday morning and we were at our weekly Pilates class at Stretched Perfection.

Kyari was the best at what she did, and I am so glad we found this place.

Pilates isn’t a skinny girl work out like I thought it was.

It was a class for strength, resistance, self-control, and durability.

It helped me channel inner peace and helped me stabilize my anger.

Autumn introduced me to the class a few months back.

This was Kyari’s original studio that was re-opened after the fire that was set to it.

You wouldn’t even know there was damage if it wasn’t for her telling the story.

Kyari was a sweetheart and whenever we were here, we talked for a while.

I could see being her friend, but I am not in to opening up to people and making new friends.

She never pried and always said she was here if I ever wanted to talk.

“It was fine. I didn’t stay much longer after you left.” I gave Autumn a nonchalant answer to her question.

“Stop playing with me B. Did you go talk to him?” She strapped the harness to her ankle and allowed it to pull her leg back above her head. I did the same and released my breath slowly. This position was painful, but I could do a full split because of it.

“We spoke briefly.” I grunted out. My mind drifted to his hands on my wrist and the kiss he planted there.

He seemed so rugged, even in his suit and tie.

He demanded attention when he walked into rooms and everyone either bowed down or lusted over him.

But his kiss to my wrist was gentle, showing he had a softer side to him.

Maybe that was why I ran. I wasn’t used to men being loving and affectionate. It scared me.

“What did you say to him Blythe? I know you. With your mean ass.”

“I wasn’t mean, Autumn. I told him he was staring pretty hard. And the conversation went from there.”

“Mmmm, did it get spicy? That damn man know he’s fine. Him and his damn brother.”

“Speaking of the brother. Did you know they were related?”

“No, I told you I just met him recently. We’ve hung out a few times mainly at his place.”

She blushed devilishly and bit her nail reminiscing I assume.

“We ain’t went down the family tree yet.

When he introduced me at the club, that was the first time I found out he was his brother.

” We stood and placed our feet in the placers on the reformer.

Pushing forward it forced our legs apart into a perfect split.

“Shit, bitch.” Autumn fussed. “This one always hurts.” She rocked gently taking her body further down.

“Right, but it feels so good when it stretches my legs. My hips feel loose and no tension.”

“Absolutely, my reverse cowgirl is unmatched.” She giggled and I smiled at her. Unlike me she had sex often. She loved her body and explored it openly.

I know it was strange to believe that a Dom like me didn’t have sex, but I didn’t.

That was giving away control, and I could never do that.

My subs could lick and suck on my pussy until I climaxed but that was it.

I controlled the tempo in the Venin Room.

No objections, and every man so far had been compliant with my terms. As long as I would fulfill the kinky shit they wanted but couldn’t get from their spouses, they were cool with it.

“So…” Autumn probed.

“So, what?” I looked at her with genuine confusion.
