BLYTHE #2

Four days of the silent treatment made time drag by, he was serious about keeping his distance.

He had barely said ten words to me. He ignored me and sent messages through Anastacia as our main communication.

He even went as far as to sit on the opposite side of me during meetings.

His words on repeat in my mind were the only reason I knew he wasn’t mad or planning to get me fired.

I also caught his subtle glances and deep inhales when he was close by.

He would walk by and purposely brush by me causing my skin to prickle.

I went to sleep in my hotel room many nights with thoughts of him turning my body out.

I don’t know what this was, but he was changing me and I hated to admit how much I was enjoying it.

The second week was slightly better. He was more engaging and even sat with me during lunch.

He was actually very funny. I could listen to him tell stories for hours.

He talked about his best friends and how he reconnected with them since he been home.

I listened intently because he was just that intriguing.

My fantasy of seeing what he would do after the three days was up, slipped from my mind the more time I spent with him.

Yes, I still enjoyed his lingering stares on my body and the subtle lip bites, but I enjoyed his conversation more.

I was actually sad that my time here was almost over, but I was looking forward to seeing him back home every day, very soon.

Since it was my last weekend in town I wanted to go hang out and see the town.

Anastacia agreed to accompany me, so I was currently getting myself together.

Dealing with hell week, silent treatment from Pharaoh, then his captivating personality had me on an emotional rollercoaster.

I wanted to relax a little and let my hair down.

I was supposed to meet Anastacia at 8 PM at the Beats Lounge. I was running a little behind but when I arrived, she was already sitting at the bar talking with a guy that was way too close to not know her intimately.

“Hey. You made it.” She squealed jumping from her seat.

“Hey.” I responded just as she wrapped her arms around me tight. My body flinched instinctively and she quickly pulled back.

“Sorry, I may or may not have already got the party started without you!”

“It’s good, no worries.” I took the seat next to her and looked around the room. The space was really nice to be a bar. It was high quality, with an alluring decor. It was definitely a place I could see myself frequenting if I lived here.

“What can I get you gorgeous?” The bartender leaned over and spoke over the semi loud music.

Turning in his direction I noticed he was smiling and eyeing me lustfully.

His expression knocked me off guard, I wasn’t used to men blatantly eyeing me seductively.

Men usually coward in my presence. Was I losing my touch?

My mind went to tying his ass down and punishing him for looking at me like that but quickly brushed the thoughts off.

He gave me creep vibes and the last thing I wanted to do was give the impression I was flirting back in a city I wasn’t familiar in.

I smiled the best smile I could muster up before responding.

“Empress gin fizz.” I replied. He nodded eyeing my frame before turning.

“And for you, sir?”

“Godfather, chilled glass no ice.” The sound of his voice had me frozen in my chair.

And now his cologne invaded my senses. I had just looked around, and he was nowhere in sight but here he was.

My body reacted before my mind could even catch up.

I was completely smitten by this man. In such a short time I found myself needing him near me.

Each time I would look his way or our eyes would meet my stomach would somersault.

I have been smiling more than I have ever smiled before.

Autumn said I was already in love and gonna let him in my panties.

I was far from in love but in my panties, maybe.

He made me feel safe and honestly, he was so damn fine.

“Blythe!” The base in his tone made me jump slightly. Recovering quickly, I replied.

“Pharaoh.” Turning my stool to face him, I wish I hadn’t.

This man was every bit of his name. His deep chocolate skin glowed like a God.

His chiseled features made you want to trace each one.

My eyes wandered like I had never seen him up close before.

I was processing everything to memory. “Funny seeing you hear.” I broke the lingering stare down.

“Oh yea? I am here all the time. Didn’t expect to see you. You would think with our conversation earlier that you would have mentioned it. Can’t say that I am mad about it though. Only a couple more days here together.”

“Really, I hadn’t noticed. Although…” I tapped my chin. “Someone did say something about three more days. That came and went more than a week ago. Are you all talk Mr. McCallum?”

“Not at all. I had every intention of keeping my word. Rearranging your guts and the furniture in the office. Shit even becoming the latest office gossip. But I enjoyed our daily conversations a little more. You didn’t enjoy getting to know me B?

” I blushed and quickly turned my head so he wouldn’t catch it.

Our drinks came and I took a large swig to calm my nerves.

He was beyond turning me on, and his intoxicating cologne wasn’t helping one bit.

“Dance with me.” He leaned in whispering in my ear.

“Oh no, I don’t dance.” I rebutted. Dancing in public was something I never do.

“I wasn’t asking.” Lifting his drink to his lips he downed majority of it before grabbing my hand and pulling me from my chair.

“Wait, no. I’m serious, I don’t.”

“You owe me B.” He looked back at me with a devilish grin and a wink before pulling me toward the dance floor. We moved through the small crowd of people until we were right in the center of the dance floor. I looked around feeling shy, but no one was paying me any mind.

“Fine but don’t touch me.” Chuckling he leaned in to respond.

“I guess you don’t know how dancing works. I have to touch you baby.” He bit his bottom lip waiting my response. “How about this, you tell me where to touch. How about here?” His hand touched my shoulder as he swayed side to side. I knocked it off playfully.

“Here?” He pulled me close by my upper back and snaked his body jokingly.

Shaking my head no I smirked at his playful dance.

It made me feel relaxed instantly. His hand creeped lower and my pussy thumped.

I clinched my muscles to stop the pulsating feeling and looked up into his eyes.

“That’s the spot huh?” He whispered. Placing his hands on my waist he pulled me closer, our eyes dancing first. I felt the reassurance in his gaze and the protection in his hold.

Surprisingly my body never flinched under his grasp.

It was a welcomed feeling shocking the hell out of me.
