11. Tommaso #2

He gasps and looks at me with a confused expression. “What? You changing your mind after all that talk?” he asks.

“Just not doin’ it for me,” I tell him, slightly breathless.

He steps forward and places a hand on my chest. He’s definitely not stronger than me, but he does have the upper hand in this moment.

“Maybe I can change that.” He starts to sink down on his knees.

I hear shuffling to the side of us, footsteps on the asphalt.

“He said it’s not doing it for him,” a low growl hits my ears, and suddenly the man is yanked up from the ground by his hair.

“Fuck!” the man hollers and stumbles back several feet when his hair is let go of.

“What’s your fucking problem?” he asks.

I look to the side and I see him there. Alek.

His teeth are practically bared and his eyes are burning with anger.

“Go back inside, now,” he tells the man.

The man starts to step back over to me.

“That’s a big fucking mistake.” Alek grabs him by the back of his shirt and shoves him toward the door, knocking his head against it. The man tries to squirm against his hold but is only shoved harder against the door.

“You want to mess with someone, I’ll give you a good time,” Alek sneers, pulling him back a few inches and then slamming him against the metal door again.

“Okay, okay!” The man puts his hands up, his forehead already looking like it has a lump on it.

Alek lets him go and he goes scrambling inside the second he gets the door open.

I wonder what he’ll tell his friends.

My pulse is racing, and my cock is harder than ever.

“You didn’t need to do that, I can handle myself,” I tell him.

Alek looks at me, and his face softens ever so slightly.

“Yes, I did,” he mumbles. He steps over to me. “What are you doing out here with that trash anyway?”

“Trash? Didn’t take you for a shamer,” I reply.

He hisses out his next words. “Didn’t take you for a whore…or wait, yes I did. Slut.” Alek narrows his eyes at me. “Finding some random hookup to drag to the alley. That’s dangerous when you have no idea who someone really is.”

I lick my lips and push off the brick wall, stepping closer to him. “If you don’t remember, I changed my mind.”

“You did,” he agrees. “Why?”

I shake my head. “Just wasn’t interested.”

His eyes travel down my body slowly, and back up to my face. “It doesn’t look that way.”

I roll my eyes, but don’t say anything else.

He reaches for my arm. “Come on, let’s go inside. You have an office in there, right?”

I blink. “Carmine’s office, but I have a key, yeah.”

“Good.” Alek pulls me and I follow. Not rejecting him in this moment. I let him pull me into the club and I motion to the office that’s right next to the back exit of the building.

I pull my keys out and unlock the door before pushing inside.

It looks much the same as it did when my father was alive.

Big oak desk, leather chairs, and a small love seat in the corner of the room.

I don’t want to think about the kinds of things him and his third wife must have done on that damn thing.

“Why are you here?” I ask Alek when we’re inside, the light on and door closed behind us.

As I walk around Carmine’s desk, I remember one of the last times I was in here. With my ex-boyfriend. I don’t think about him much anymore, but it’s times like this that I remember kissing him while he sat on the desktop and getting caught by my father.

Oh, how pissed off he’d been. How disappointed in me he was. How disappointed in all his sons for being gay or bisexual.

I shake the thought out of my head and sit down in my brother’s desk chair while waiting for an answer from Alek.

“I needed to see you,” he tells me.

My dick pulses in my jeans, and suddenly I imagine exactly what he needs.

I imagine myself bent over the desk with my pants pulled down to my knees and his length buried deep inside of me again and again. One hand on the back of my neck, the other in my hair.

“I need to tell you about what’s going on with the Calvers,” he adds.

That imagery leaves my head and I sigh.

“I came here to forget about all that,” I admit.

He sits down in one of the chairs on the opposite side of the desk and even that motion is elegant in some way. Every movement he makes is calculated and smooth.

“Well, there’s no forgetting about it,” he tells me. “The Bianchis have made a deal with the Calvers.”

I look down at the desk and back up. “Great, just fucking fantastic.”

“Look, I know you don’t want to think about it. I don’t either. I’m tired of this messing around. I want to get going on taking them down, but we can’t just run in hot.”

“Can’t we?” I ask him. “We have the man and gun power.”

“They might have the upper hand on you now,” he says. “Twenty-four semi-autos and twelve more men.”

I lick my lips and then click my tongue. “Damn. That’s…more than I was hoping for,” I mutter. “But no, they don’t have the upper hand. We recently got a new case of arms from the US, and it’s…much more than that, believe me. We still have the power to take them out if we just get it rolling.”

“I believe you, but until we know what their next plans are, I don’t think it’s a good idea.” He brushes a hand over his hair, and I notice he looks fairly stressed as well.

“What’s on your mind?” I ask him, changing the subject.

He eyes me. “What do you mean?” he asks in return.

“You look gassed. They really got you stressed out that bad?” I raise a brow.

He chews on his bottom lip for a second. “Maybe. I’m worried about how long this is taking. How much longer I’ll be able to stay undercover.”

“You think they’re onto you?” I lean back slightly in the chair, keeping my eyes on him.

He shakes his head. “Not really, no,” he tells me. “But…it’s all starting to weigh on me. I don’t know how much longer I can stand to be around those fuckers.” His teeth clench.

I nod my head. “I don’t blame ya. By the way, whatever happened to that bomb they were going to set off?”

Alek chuckles weakly. “They still plan on it, just…don’t know when now. Which is great for me.”

“Fuck,” I say. “That’s not good. Try to find out more, whatever you can.”

“I’m doing my best, Tommy.”

My gaze softens and falls to his lips.

“I know you are.”
