20. Alek #2

Every kiss is wet and warm. Every grind of our hips together sends precum dripping down my shaft and smearing onto his hip and thighs.

He grunts and groans, and whether it’s in pleasure or pain I’m not sure.

“I felt aroused, while they were torturing me,” Tommy suddenly whispers against my mouth. “How fucked up does that make me?”

I shiver hard and dig my fingers into his shoulders. “You can’t help what your body likes,” I insist. “But I’ll be fucked up with you.”

I turn my head and lick several of his wounds on his face and then kiss them.

“I like the taste of your blood,” I admit. “But I don’t like when I’m not the one bleeding you.”

“Mmm, me neither,” he grumbles and pulls his fingers from my ass.

I gasp softly and feel a whine building in my throat at the emptiness I feel.

Until I realize what he’s doing. He’s smearing precum all over his cock and then pressing it against my hole.

I feel his length push into me, inch by inch, and my eyes nearly roll back into my head. He’s bigger than me physically, and the same remains true for this.

“Ahh, fuck,” I groan.

He’s buried to the hilt inside of me, but doesn’t stay there for long. I lift my hips up and begin to ride him slowly. Each thrust of his cock inside of me sends my own length pulsing and aching.

“Fuck, you feel so good, Alek,” Tommy moans into my ear. His hot breath making me tremble.

As he starts to grind up against me while I ride him, all words are taken from me. Only pleasure remains.

Up and down. I bury my face in his shoulder, slack jawed and fluttering lashes.

All I can do is moan and grunt as his length pulses inside of me faster and faster.

His hands grip my ass cheeks and I swivel my hips desperately against him.

The couch creaks beneath our bodies.

“Yes, yes!” I whisper into the crook of his neck, and I feel his entire body tense up.

Tommy grunts into my hair and bucks his hips up against me hard as he spills inside of me.

At the same time, my prostate is throbbing inside of me.

As he pulls his dick out of me, cum spills from my ass, dripping down my thighs, and I come onto his stomach in several rough jerks of my hips. Splattering all over his abs.

Our bodies relax at the same time, and I lay on top of him, trying to catch my breath.

“Tell me about her,” Tommy says as we lay in his bed sometime later after getting cleaned up. “Your wife…Felicia.”

I look at him uncertain for a moment, but then smile softly as my heart squeezes in my chest. “Are you sure?” I ask.

“If you want to,” he adds.

I purse my lips for a moment as I lay my head on his shoulder.

“She was the kindest, most compassionate person I had ever met,” I tell him slowly, my voice quiet in the large bedroom.

“She donated to charity even when we were on our last dollar. Felicia, she…always wanted children, but we never got around to it. And she could out curse an Irish sailor.”

Tommy smiles down at me and trails his fingers along my bare chest. “What did she look like?” Curiosity flashes in his eyes.

I feel a pang of guilt and pain in my chest as I picture her in my mind’s eye. I swallow thickly and force the words out anyway. “She had short red hair, soft brown eyes, with strong, thick legs and…she was as soft as a cloud.” I stare into nothingness beside Tommy’s head.

“She sounds…beautiful,” he whispers.

“She was.”

It’s quiet for a long moment before he asks another question. “Did you want kids? Do…Do you want kids?” he asks.

“No,” I reply honestly. “It was always her dream, and I wanted to make her happy, but I’ve never wanted to bring children into all of this. Especially not now.”

“If you didn’t have to worry about all this, would you want children?” he asks me, his voice so soft that it makes me melt.

I sigh and relax into him more. “Maybe,” I say. “I’m not so sure I would be a good father. My own was…well, not exactly role model material. Ironic, since I take after him.”

Tommy chuckles. “I know how you feel,” he says. “I don’t know if I can picture myself with a little boy or girl…taking care of them every day.”

Just as I’m about to open my mouth to say something else, my phone starts ringing. At first, I plan to ignore it, but it doesn’t stop ringing from where it sits on the nightstand.

I see Carmine’s number on the screen and quickly answer it. “Hello?”

“I tried calling Tommaso’s phone, but it must have been taken by Dante and Butch when he was kidnapped. Probably somewhere in the estate,” he says quickly. “He with you?”

I glance over to Tommy with a smirk. “Yeah, he’s here.” As I listen to what Carmine has to say next, my face drops.

“Got it. We’ll be there.”

I hang up and immediately stand up from the bed.

“What’s going on?” Tommy asks, sitting up with a nervous look on his damaged face.

I run my fingers through my hair.

“Tiberi is at the hospital. He’s in a coma.”

“Did you get the room number?” I ask Tommy as I pace back and forth in the lobby of the hospital.

He nods. “Got it. He’s in the ICU. We take the elevators on the left,” he explains. I follow him through the lobby and down one hallway to the elevators.

“Are you sure you’re going to be okay?” I ask him.

“The painkillers I took should hold for a few more hours,” he says. “Besides, I can get some better stuff here anyway.” He smirks.

I glare at him as we step into the elevator and he pushes the button for the correct floor.

I’ve never been to this hospital before, and suddenly the feeling of the elevator going up makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

The walls feel like they’re closing in on me. The whole place smells so sterile, and it reminds me of a day I’d rather not think about.

“You okay?” Tommy asks me.

I nod my head. “Just…haven’t been in a hospital since Felicia,” I admit.

His brow furrows. “You don’t have to come with me,” he says.

I shake my head. “No. I’m coming.” I take a deep breath and look up at the doors as they open in front of us. An elderly couple, one in a wheelchair, step in as we’re stepping out.

The lights are so bright in here. I try to ignore it as I follow Tommy through the corridor to Tiberi’s room. The whole gaggle of the Dresvannis are standing outside of his hospital room, save for Carmine.

“What’s going on?” Tommy asks them. Carmine steps halfway out of the room and motions both of us inside.

Alessio looks beyond angry as he stands beside the door, and he’s leaning against Damian who doesn’t look much different. They all look worried, angry, tired. All of us have some level of injury, and while Tommy is beat up pretty good, he’s not the one in a hospital bed.

“He has swelling on the brain and lost a lot of blood from a bullet wound to the chest,” Carmine explains. “The doctor put him in a medically induced coma to help reduce the swelling and inflammation, give his body time to heal.”

“Fuck,” Tommy says with a sigh. “How long does he have to be in it?” he asks.

“A few days, a couple weeks, they aren’t sure. It depends on how he recovers, but it’ll be a while,” Carmine says as he steps over to the bed where Tiberi is lying.

He’s hooked up to several machines that blink and pulse with technological life. His usually strong body is limp and weak in the hospital bed. His chest rises and falls with his breath in a steady forced fashion.

“Damn,” I mutter.

My throat starts to tighten as I look at the man in the bed. Flickers of memories start to come back to me. Felicia lying in bed hooked up to even more machines. Forcing her lungs and her heart to keep on going. A living corpse.

Tiberi isn’t in remotely the same condition as she was, but it’s similar enough that my pulse starts to race and I have to look away from him.

Tommy steps closer to me and I feel his fingers brush against mine.

“I’ll give you a couple minutes with him; I’ll take the guys down to the cafeteria. There’s nothing else we can do here. I’m going to put a couple guards on the door, though, just in case.” Carmine steps out of the room after Tommy nods in response.

“You alright?” Tommy asks me.

“It reminds me of her,” I tell him. “She was…already dead when they hooked her up to all these machines and tried to keep her going. But I knew she was not there.” I swallow hard. “I made them take her off, made them let her be dead. Her parents hated me for it.”

“I’m sorry,” Tommy whispers. “You did what you felt was right. If she was already gone…”

I nod slowly. “There was no coming back from where she was,” I say quietly. “Trust me, if there was, I would have never given up.”

Tommy links his fingers with mine and we both look over at Tiberi.

“I believe you,” he replies. “You don’t have to stay here with me.”

“I’ll be okay,” I insist. We stand there for a moment in silence. Tommy lets go of my hand and sits down in a chair nearby. I can tell he’s in pain, and I sit down next to him.

“How are the Rose?” he asks me.

“We lost a few people, but most of us came back alive,” I tell him. I purse my lips for a second, thinking. “I’m still going to work with them. The Rose. Even though Stephan is dead.”

“Yeah?” Tommy looks over at me.

“Yes. I think what they do is important and…it gives me something to do with my life, I guess; but I want you to be a part of it. You Dresvanni’s in general.”

“Do you think they’ll agree to that?” Tommy asks.

“I’m not sure, but I think it’s a good idea that you all maintain contact with us, stay updated. As an ally.” I look back into his eyes.

He nods. “I’m here whatever happens. Whether you stay with them or not.”
