Chapter 35 #3

He pumped his hips, fucking hard. He leaned in to kiss Johnny, attacking his mouth and fucking it with his tongue to the same rhythm he’d set with Johnny’s ass. When Johnny moaned again, he pulled back and looked into his eyes. “Move in. Live with me.”

Johnny didn’t answer. His eyes rolled back, and he made those odd little noises that meant he was coming.

Watching him fall apart pushed Gavin close to orgasm, had him chasing it.

A few pumps later, he shot his load inside Johnny’s ass.

He loved knowing his cum would be up there—lingering.

When he pulled out, he slid the butt plug back in, wanting to keep his seed in there as long as possible. Johnny didn’t protest.

“So? Move in with me, please.”

“We could try it. If things go well, I can put my house up for sale later.” It didn’t seem like a romantic answer.

“Try it?”

“Yeah, I do like the idea of being closer to you.”

“You afraid of leaving Colorado? Your family?”

“They’re only a plane trip away.” He shrugged. “Plus, I’ll still see Pilot at the races. Uncle Gary could go to some too.”

“You’re still going to hang on to your house for a while?”

“I think it’s smart. I mean, I get a good income from Trident still, so I can invest that and still pay my other expenses with what I’m getting from BikeMax. So it’s not a hardship at all.”

“It would be better to sell it.”

“I know. Maybe I’ll rent it out.”

Gavin wanted Johnny to have the same excitement he did about the move, but he seemed to be holding on to that safety net. Was there a reason? “Johnny? Don’t you think we’re going to work out?”

Johnny bit his top lip. “It’s not like that. I’m...I don’t know. It’s easier to say yes when I have something to fall back on. It’s a big move, Gavin.”

“I get that, but you don’t seem like—” Gavin stood up. “You’re treating this like a business deal.”

Johnny jumped up and pounced on him. He threw his arms around Gavin’s neck and his legs around Gavin’s waist. He kissed Gavin’s face, his cheeks, his eyes, his forehead. “I love you. Love you. Love you.”

Gavin peeled him off, setting his feet back on the floor. “Drama queen.”

Johnny laughed. “I do love your house, Gav. This bed is great for sure. Don’t know if you’ll have enough room for my stuff in your giant-ass closet, though.” He winked.

Gavin felt happy and hopeful. He loved Johnny and wanted to share their lives.

The next day, Gavin invited his sister over to meet Johnny. His parents could wait, but Rita wouldn’t. She’d kick his ass if he didn’t have her over.

Gavin grilled steaks, and they ate on the back patio. Johnny practically glowed from Rita’s attention. “What’s it like living in Colorado with all that snow?” she asked.

Johnny wrinkled his nose. “Honestly, even though I grew up there, I’m not a fan of the cold, especially snow.”

“Well, you’ll fit in fine here in SoCal, then.

” Rita’s laugh was boisterous and free. She was very much the opposite of Gavin.

He kept everything inside, locked up tight, while she let it all out.

Seeing her and Johnny together calmed something inside him.

The huge block of weight he hadn’t even known had been on his shoulders, as the cliché went, was lifted from him.

Gavin bit into his corn on the cob, and the juice squirted out across the table.

Johnny snorted a laugh, and Rita chuckled.

“Here.” She handed Gavin a napkin. “Goofball.” She rolled her eyes.

She’d always teased him like that. It had never bothered Gavin, but he had never paid much attention to it either.

For the first time, her needling warmed his heart.

He’d always known she loved him, but he’d never felt it so profoundly.

The evening went extremely well with joking and fun. Then after Johnny said his good-byes, Gavin walked Rita out to her car. “I’ve missed you, sis.” He pulled her into a big hug.

“Wow. Johnny is so good for you!”

He held her at arm’s length. “You think so? You liked him?”

She smiled her crooked smile. “Stupid boy. I love Johnny already. And yes, he’s totally good for you. I’m pretty sure Mom and Dad will approve too.” Gavin knew that meeting would happen eventually with Johnny living with him, probably sooner rather than later.

Gavin grunted. “More concerned about your opinion, honestly.”

“I know, baby bro.” She carded her finger through his hair.

Her locks were a deeper shade of red than his, her eyes lighter.

Otherwise, they were extremely similar. People had mistaken them for twins on more than one occasion, and sometimes he’d wished that were true.

“I know you haven’t had the easiest time.

You constantly make choices they don’t agree with or even understand, but they respect how you are true to who you are. You live your truth. Daily.”

“I try.”

“You do more than try.” She patted his shoulder. “Now, I need to get outta here. I have an early day tomorrow.” She kissed his cheek. “Don’t worry so much. And lean on that man some. He’s strong. I can tell.”

Gavin waved as Rita drove off. She’d always been perceptive, and most of the time, she was right.

He’d take her word about his parents, though he hadn’t really seen that attitude from them.

It had always seemed they hated everything about Gavin.

Maybe he was biased. He’d give opening up to them a shot. Maybe Johnny would help.

He turned and opened his front door. Johnny was moving around in the living room. He loved Johnny being there, making himself at home. His heart raced with the excitement of finding out what came next for them.
