7. Chapter 6

Lulu

I change quickly in my suite and go downstairs to meet my writer friends at the hotel's main restaurant. My stomach is in knots because I know there will be questions. I really don't keep secrets from these women so I'm not sure what to expect.

The restaurant is half full at this time of day and I see the smiling faces of my friends when I approach the huge table they've commandeered for themselves. They quickly make a space for me and I sit down, avoiding everyone's eyes.

"Louise Jones, spill it." Sam says.

"Um, I don't know what you're talking about."

"SPILL IT." They all shout in unison, startling the other patrons in the restaurant.

"Alright, alright. I have a very handsome tour guide."

"And what exactly is he guiding you to do?" Shelley says.

"You all have dirty minds."

"You think we don't know what you write? Please!" Jennie says.

I signal the server and she comes over to our table. I order a drink and a snack and sit back while all around there's mumbling and grumbling.

"So you're going to make us beg?"

"There's nothing to say. We just fooled around a little bit."

"Are you going to take it to the next level?"

"I'm not sure yet. He's coming to my suite tonight."

"I think you should fuck his brains out. He's one hot tour guide." Sam says.

She doesn't know it, but that's exactly what I hope to do this evening in my suite. Dominic has me so turned on that I had to get myself off once again before coming downstairs.

"So tell us about him."

I don't think my face could be any redder if I tried. I've just realized that I really haven't asked him about anything personal. All the conversations have been about me. Is he hiding something, or have I just been monopolizing the conversation all this time?

"Um."

"Look at her face. She's blushing. Lulu are you planning on having sex with a complete stranger?"

"He's not a complete stranger. I spent several hours with him yesterday and today. He's just been showing me around and entertaining me like a proper tour guide does."

"Where did you find him, anyway?"

"The recreation desk."

"How much are these private tours he's been giving you?"

"He's not charging me."

Oops, I shouldn't have said that. Everyone goes quiet and they just stare at me like I'm a monster.

"Lulu, he's going to lose his job."

"He said he wanted to do this for me. That I should trust him."

"Maybe you should ask about him at the front desk. Get more information."

Jennie is a worrier, but now that I realize where I've gone wrong, I know that I have to find out more about the man that I'm letting into my suite tonight. When more of my friends chime in, I tell them I will do my due diligence.

I spend some time with my friends, but inside I'm impatient to go searching for answers. Is Dominic too good to be true? Am I making a mistake? I hate feeling insecure like this and as soon as we finish having our chats I run to the front desk to ask some questions.

The lady at the desk is a face I recognize. She's been here since I checked in, so she must have seen Dominic at the recreation desk.

"Hello."

"Hi! What can I help you with, today?"

"There was a gentleman at the recreation desk the other day, Dominic something. Do you happen to know him?"

"Dominic Parker?"

"Yes, that's right."

"You can probably find him at his office in the fifth floor. Sally will get you through to him."

"Thanks so much."

She gives me a smile and greets the next guest with the same zest and happiness she did with me. I wonder what I'm going to find in the fifth floor and who this Sally is. Could she be someone important to him?

Once the elevator gets to the fifth floor the doors open and I see someone at the front desk. She looks friendly and is probably in her fifties. This makes me let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Hi, are you Sally?"

"Yes, what can I help you with?"

"The lady in the lobby told me you could give me more information about Dominic Parker."

She looks surprised at my words.

"Why do you need information about Mr. Parker?"

I almost break down in front of this woman. I decide all I can do is go with the truth.

"I'm terribly embarrassed, Sally. I met Dominic yesterday at the recreation desk where he works. He's been giving me tours of the area and he and I…I…"

"It's okay. You can tell me."

Sally looks like a concerned mother hen and I wonder what changed her demeanor.

"We have a date tonight and when my friends asked me about him, I realized I didn't know a single thing about him."

"You haven't asked him about his job here?"

"He's just so flirty and fun and keeps asking me questions. I've been careless, I know."

"Well, Mr. Parker is an important part of this company."

"I guess so, since he's in guest services."

"No, I mean…"

The elevator door opens and Dominic himself comes out of it. He's no longer wearing the hotel's uniform and is looking amazing in some slacks and a grey button down.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

"I was looking for you."

"Oh. Thanks, Sally. I've got it."

A perplexed Sally watches us leave on the elevator. I'm not sure where we are going, but seeing Dom looking this good has made my pussy start to clench down again in need.

"Do you want to have a drink before we have dinner?"

"I think that would be best. I've got a ton of questions for you."

"Really?"

"Dom, you haven't really talked much about yourself, and I would like to get to know you better."

"There's not much to say. I'm a workaholic. I spend most of my time here. My brothers keep trying to get me to take time off all the time."

"So tell me about these brothers."

His eyes meet mine and I think that's the moment he realizes I'm serious about this. So we order some drinks and sit down for a long chat. Hopefully, I'll be more informed about him once we go have dinner. After all, I have big plans for after.
