Epilogue
One year later…
Jett
"It'll be great," I assure Reeve, clasping my hand tighter around his.
He peers down the twenty-foot drop and sucks in a breath through his teeth.
"It's not the height, is it?" Wilkin inquires. He's standing on the other side of Reeve.
"No. Well, not the height itself but the effects of the height on my…you know…"
Reeve peers down his body. I peer down his body. Wilkin is practically drooling, peering down Reeve's body.
It's an impressive physique, one Wilkin and I have become intimately acquainted with over the past year. In addition to each other, of course.
But we're not focusing on Reeve's killer abs, strong arms, or muscular thighs. Not even his impressive bulge. But rather, what's covering said impressive bulge.
A loincloth.
Yes, it's taken months and months of pleading, but Reeve has finally relented. Did Wilkin and I have to bribe him by threatening to withhold our near-nightly kissing show for him to get him to agree? Why, yes. Yes, we did. But it's worth it to see it in the flesh.
Not to mention it'll look great on camera.
Reeve
How did I let myself get talked into this? Oh, that's right. My boyfriends resorted to sexual bribery, and damn my lack of willpower, I caved instantly.
Can you blame me though? There's nothing I enjoy more than watching the two men I love more than anything in this world making out before they turn their attention to me and the three of us connect sexually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I glance down at the churning, white, foaming rush of water smashing into the dark rocks below and exploding in a fizz of spray. Seems fitting to be back to where it all started…with a few differences.
Like Jett and Wilkin finally resolving their lifelong issues.
Like the three of us being together.
Like me being in a loin cloth. We'll be recording this jump for a documentary film the three of us are producing together.
Wilkin came up with the idea of turning my homemade adventure videos into documentary films. Using his connections, we signed to a major streamer, and the first two films we've released have been smash hits.
Not quite as ubiquitous as Heated Rivalry, but not too far behind either.
Jett's the one who came up with the 'brilliant' idea of me starting to wear a loin cloth since the media has nicknamed me Tarzan because of my hair. We're doing a practice jump to give the crew a chance to work out lighting and some other logistics.
The other thing that's changed since the last time we were here?
All three of us are jumping this time.
Wilkin
Talk about a full-circle moment.
This time last year, I wouldn't have dreamed of jumping off a ledge into a waterfall. Jett and I were sequestered, awaiting testifying at a trial, barely on speaking terms. And we'd only just met Reeve.
After spending an incredible three weeks together, Jett and I were flown back to LA. The trial came and went, intense from beginning to end. But the evidence was there, clean and undeniable, and in the end, with our testimony added to the mix, I'm happy to report justice was served.
We went back to work on KUWTV—sans sleazeball producer—and life returned to normal. Except something was missing.
Or rather, someone.
The three of us started a WhatsApp group chat that quickly became a weekly video call that became multiple daily check-ins. After spending the rest of the summer with a grandmother he has a whole newfound appreciation for, Reeve flew out to LA.
We rented a bungalow in the Hills so we could all be together, and it soon became clear that what the three of us have is more than we could have ever dreamed of.
And then we did something decidedly unromantic.
We went to therapy.
Individually, to work on our own personal issues.
In a pair, so Jett and I could navigate decades of distrust, anger, envy, and unhealthy communication skills.
And as a trio, so we could learn the skills we'd need to sail the seas of our new triad relationship.
"Are you ready, Wilkin?" Jett asks, looking past Reeve, his eyes softening when I return his gaze.
My heart is so full with love, it's hard to put it into words. Loving someone in secret is one thing, loving them out in the open? There's no better feeling.
I feel Reeve's hand clasped over my own.
And it's all because of him. Well, a crazy ex-producer who's now behind bars if we're being technical.
But if Reeve had been afraid to take the two of us on, who knows if all three of us would be standing here on the ledge, about to leap into the water below.
"I am," I say. "I love you both so much."
"I love you, too," Jett replies, a warm smile lighting up his whole face.
"I love you both, too," Reeve says, his grip on my hand tightening. "But I really need to pee, so let's hurry up and do this damn thing."
"Okay, okay," I agree, chuckling. "On the count of three, we jump."
Jett nods. "Cool."
Who knows what the future holds? We still have logistics to figure out—like where we'll end up living, how long we can keep making these movies together, what's an appropriate punishment for Jett leaving wet towels on the bathroom floor after every single shower—but right now, I don't care about any of that.
For the first time in my life, I'm throwing caution to the wind and trusting that life will be there to catch my fall.
Literally in this case.
As long as I've got these two beside me—or inside me in some way—I know everything will turn out just fine.
I take a deep breath and go for it. "One, two, threeeeee!"
