How to Renovate a Haunted House
Heavy metal music erupts in the background, and then the words are displaced by another shot of the two guys.
They are standing in front of the same house, but this time the two of them are loaded down with equipment.
The taller one wears jeans and a leather jacket and has an iron rod strapped to his back.
Vials that clearly read holy water are strung across his chest on a bandolier, and he holds out an EMF reader at the camera like it’s a gun. A giant bag of salt sits at his feet.
Beside him, the shorter guy wears khaki cargo shorts, a hoodie, and a backward baseball cap. He has one foot propped up on two cans of paint and grips a paint roller like it’s a staff. On his other wrist, rolls of painter’s tape and duct tape are stacked like bracelets.
“The first rule of renovating a haunted house,” the tall one declares, “is to get rid of the ghosts.”
The video cuts to a montage of him scanning rooms with the EMF meter, lining walls and windowsills with salt, and throwing holy water at random while yelling loudly in Latin…
