Hulk Chapter
Hulk:
The move today wasn’t terribly exhausting.
There was more than enough help that we had everything boxed, loaded, and unloaded in record time.
Since everyone had been working, no one wanted to cook dinner, so we had food brought in from Mexicana Loca.
It was, hands down, everyone’s favorite Mexican food.
They loved it whenever we placed a massive order.
We made it worth their work. Lupe Herrera, the owner, thought it was hilarious to see a large group of us come in.
She teased us, asking where we were when she was young.
She was a feisty woman in her mid-sixties.
Her husband, Ramon, would smile, roll his eyes, and shake his head.
He said the restaurant's name, which translates to “Crazy Mexican” in English, was chosen for her.
Lupe laughed and agreed that she was crazy.
It was mainly family members who worked for them. The manager, Luis Lopez, was a cousin.
Later, after our food had time to settle, it was time to chat, play darts, pool, arm wrestle, tell tall tales, or whatever else struck your fancy.
It was the time I was waiting for. I caught Knight’s eye.
He gave me a chin lift. Then, I glanced over and located Agony.
I was about to go over to him when he seemed to sense I needed him because he turned his head to look over at me. I gave him a nod.
Pres took his cue and walked to the bar. He loudly rang the bell on a post at the bar. The sound got everyone’s attention, and they focused on him, and the noise dropped to a murmur.
“Before anyone leaves or gets too carried away, I’d like to have Celeste come up here, please,” Agony stated. He kept his expression neutral.
I caught the slightly panicked dart of Celeste’s eyes toward me. I gave her an encouraging smile.
“Come on, I’ll go with you. I don’t believe it’s anything to worry about,” I told her. When we arrived, she gave our president a tentative smile.
“Capri, you should come up here, too,” Agony said. Capri left Aliya’s side, which was where she spent a lot of her time, and came to stand with us. She wore an uncertain expression.
“Today, not only did the ladies bake their asses off for us, which we more than appreciate, Hulk and several others finalized moving the rest of Celeste and Capri’s belongings here from their apartment.
We officially welcome them into our Pagan family.
However, there’s one more thing that has to happen for that to be complete.
Celeste, Hulk claimed you as his old lady.
The club has voted you in. However, there’s one more thing that has to be done. Hulk,” Agony said, then stepped back.
Knight had wound his way up behind us. He was at my back. I knew that when he poked me in it. I reached back to snag what he had.
“Hulk, what is he talking…” Her question died away as I held up the property cut in my hand.
She let out a squeal and then slapped her hand over her mouth, causing us to chuckle.
“I told you that this would let everyone know who you belong to. Now, no one will come in here and not know you’re claimed, and so am I,” I told her as I held it for her to put on.
After she did, she twirled around so everyone could see the Property of Hulk on the back.
Her name on the front was harder to read: Troublemaker.
The shouts and clapping were loud and took a minute to die down.
Celeste was being hugged by Capri, who was beaming.
When they parted, I went to take Celeste into my arms to give her a proper greeting.
However, she put up her hand to stop me. The noise died down.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“There’s one more thing that is needed for this claiming to be mutual and complete,” she said before she looked at Agony.
“Agony, I need to know when you can put a claiming tattoo on Hulk, to keep all those handsy women off him. Oh, and I want one, too. I’m ready for my first tattoo.”
As a huge grin spread over Pres’ face, and the crowd got loud again with their cheers, I lifted her and gave her the kiss that was dying to come out. I made it a slow, thorough one that left us flushed and breathless when it ended, and I reluctantly put her back on her feet.
“For you, Celeste, you tell me the day and time, and I’ll make it happen. I can do it here. I have a room set up to do tats for the club, so no need to go to the shop unless you want to,” Agony told her.
“I’ll be talking to you then,” she said back.
Those words finalized the presentation and opened the tide for the others to come and congratulate us.
