Chapter 2
Ollie
Bo cupped my chin and tilted my face up.
“I know you’d never do that, Oliver.” His soft smile sent a gentle shiver down my body. Ever since we’d met, I’d had a visceral reaction to this beautiful man.
It hadn’t faded one bit. On the contrary, my love and devotion to Bo had only grown.
I melted into his kiss.
“All your fantasies are safe with me,” he breathed, then moved in for another.
“I know, my love.”
Courage, Bright.
“The idea of you sharing me with someone else is…hot.” My face heated. “But I don’t know if it’s just the idea that turns me on. It could be terrible.”
“It could be great.” Bo caressed my cheek, his wedding ring warm against my skin.
“What if you hate it, though? Or I do?”
His thumb trailed over my lips.
“Well, we’d have safe words. If I hated it, I could end it at any point, and so could you. And no,” he added, as if he could read my mind. “I would not be mad or upset if you did. It needs to work for both of us or it’s not happening.”
“You are right, darling.” I snuggled closer. “Maybe I’m just overthinking this. I don’t want us to get hurt.”
“I love your heart, ?lskling. You are so good.” Bo dragged me into his lap. “My perfect husband.” He kissed my cheek. “My mate.” His lips moved to my neck. “I know we can navigate this situation together without hurting either us or whoever would join in on the fun.”
I noticed the change in his speech, going from woulds and coulds to talking as if we’d already agreed to do it. Goosebumps raced down my spine when Bo bit me.
“If anyone can, it is us,” I agreed and found it was the truth.
