It does not go well.
Ashrin finds one where he's a misunderstood werewolf who cries in the rain.
"I never cry in the rain," he mutters. "Storms, maybe. But only manly ones."
Lucien reads one aloud where he and Verenia are forced to share a bed for "thermal spell efficiency."
"...This is a structural analysis of magical cohabitation," he says calmly, blushing. "Completely plausible."
Caelis discovers an entire tag called "Yandere!Caelis AU" and immediately prints bookmarks.
"Look, they get me."
Everyone tries to throw her a surprise party.
Problem: no one coordinates.
Ashrin organizes a dramatic monster hunt.
Lucien prepares an elegant dinner for two with mood candles and 147 backup contingency spells.
Caelis... rents a hot air balloon.
They all try to do it at the same time.
Balloon drifting over battlefield.
Lucien teleporting mid-air with a cake.
Verenia riding a monster holding three gifts and a duck.
Eventually, they all end up on the rooftop.
Sharing snacks.
Laughing.
And singing a little too earnestly.
Ashrin: "Next year, I call dibs on coordinating."
Caelis: "Unacceptable. I've already drawn schematics."
Lucien: "I... built a surprise-bot. It sings."
Verenia?
She's just crying and smiling. "Best birthday ever."

They leave with three emotional homework scrolls and a group hug that nearly breaks a coffee table.
