Now

Panting into the ground, my brain is still trying to catch up with what’s happened. My chest pounds with fear as I slowly open my eyes, everything spinning in and out of focus as I try to catch my breath.

I was with Flynn and now I’m on my own: that thought hits me with a dreadful certainty. Where is he? What has happened to us?
