Chapter Five
THANKS TO Vincent’s patience and expertise, Jasper managed to get off a total of three times, then immediately passed out. There was a vague sense of a warm body next to his as he slept, but when he woke up sprawled across most of the bed, he was alone.
He sat up with a groan, foggy and sore in all the right places, and grimaced at the lingering stickiness. But it was worth it. Even the mild ache on his left asscheek where he vividly recalled Vincent biting him.
He hadn’t realized how badly he’d needed that until he was an incoherent mess and more relaxed than he’d been in months. There was a bottle of water on Vincent’s vacated pillow, and he drained most of it as he glanced around the room.
A door he hadn’t noticed before was ajar with a light on, and he dragged himself out of the bed to investigate.
Of course it was a modern luxury-style bathroom, because this club was high-end as shit.
He shouldn’t have been surprised Amber could afford the membership here, considering he was living in her six-bed, four-bath house.
Even with all that space, living with five other people felt crowded most of the time.
He found a cloth and cleaned himself up, splashed water on his face, and then grinned at his reflection. He’d been tied up all night by the hottest guy in this place. He’d been picked by the hottest guy in this place. And Vincent actually made him feel wanted.
His ex could shove a ghost pepper up his ass.
He turned to hunt down his clothes and found them in a messily folded pile on the chair he’d been restrained in. His phone was sitting on top with a few texts from Amber, which he ignored in favor of dressing. He was pulling his shoes on when the door opened and Vincent returned, pushing a cart.
Of course this place had room service. There was probably even a basement with a kinky gym and swimming pool. “Do you treat all your one-night stands this well?”
Vincent gave him an amused smile and closed the door. “Only the ones who scream loud enough to wake the dead.”
Jasper bit his tongue as his face heated. He hadn’t been that loud.
“Oh?” Vincent raised an eyebrow as he stopped the cart near the sofa. “I was expecting an eloquent ‘fuck off’ or ‘ass’ response.”
“Goest and fucketh thyself, good Sir,” Jasper replied brightly, grinning when Vincent chuckled.
Vincent pulled covers off the dishes, revealing waffles, blueberries, maple syrup, and whipped cream. Along with a pot of coffee with cream and sugar beside it.
Jasper accepted a plate and covered a waffle in a bit of everything. He watched Vincent settle into the chair, like Jasper hadn’t been sitting there, bound and completely naked, a few hours ago. He focused on his breakfast and ignored the weird flip his stomach did at the memory.
The waffles were light and the perfect amount of crunchy, the fruit was sweet and juicy, and the whipped cream tasted fresh. The coffee wasn’t bitter in the least, and he went through two cups as he ate.
Vincent watched Jasper over his own waffle covered in blueberries and whipped cream. “Did you enjoy yourself?”
“Yeah,” Jasper replied around his last large bite. He licked syrup off his lips and added, “Yes, Sir.” He didn’t miss the faint smile that earned, or the brief tingles he felt because of it. “If, hypothetically, I wanted to come back, will you be here next week?”
“I’m told I’m a workaholic, so yes.” Vincent set his plate aside when he’d finished eating. “You can ask for me at the bar if you’d like. For now there’s a car downstairs to take you wherever you need to go.”
There was a dismissal if he’d ever heard one. He was disappointed he didn’t get Vincent’s number, but that was probably for the best. He finished his coffee and snagged a few more blueberries as he stood. “So long, and thanks for all the orgasms,” he said, heading for the door.
“Jasper.”
He stopped with one foot out of the room and glanced over his shoulder.
“If you do choose to come back, I’d like to show you how sensual a spanking can be.”
Jasper made a strangled sound, nearly choking on his blueberries, and bolted. Thankfully, the club was pretty much empty, and he made it outside without anyone seeing him.
The waiting car was sleek, black, and expensive enough to have leather seats, and he was absolutely certain it wasn’t an Uber. He gave the driver the address to Amber’s place and prayed everyone was still asleep. The last thing he needed was anyone witnessing his walk of shame.
What little luck had been at work last night had run its course, because everyone was not still asleep.
Jasper almost suspected Vincent had alerted them somehow, considering all five of them were waiting in the living room.
Amber was enough of a morning person that Jasper wasn’t surprised she was awake and fully dressed.
Her fiancé, Terrance, and his best friend, Keith, were both bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, still sweaty from their gods-forsaken sunrise jog.
Matt and Reiko, Keith’s partners, were still half asleep, slumped against each other on the sofa.
At least they were all dressed. If Jasper never saw proof that Amber or Reiko shaved their vaginas again, it would be far too soon.
Amber picked up a cup of coffee and held it out to Jasper. “Finally popped your kink cherry?” she asked, grinning behind her own cup.
Jasper made a face and took the coffee, sinking into a recliner. “Shut up.”
Terrance snickered. “Didn’t enjoy it?”
He grumbled and slumped lower in his seat, wishing a sinkhole would open up and swallow him. “It was fine,” he muttered, wrinkling his nose as he sipped the coffee. It was a little bitter and nowhere near as good as Vincent’s. “Better than fine,” he added under his breath.
“Oh?” Amber asked, and Jasper didn’t miss the glance she shared with Keith. “You were with Vincent, right?”
“Yeah. You know him?”
“We went to college together,” Keith said.
Matt piped up from the sofa. “He’s a dick.”
Jasper narrowed his eyes at Matt, holding back the urge to say Vincent hadn’t been a dick to him.
Not that they’d really had much of a chance to get to know each other, but he wouldn’t mind getting that chance.
He should give it a couple days before he decided whether to go back, but he already knew where he’d be next week.
Matt squinted blearily at Jasper over the top of Reiko’s head. “You’re not going back to see him.” It sounded like an accusation.
Jasper shrugged, setting his coffee on the table. “What if I am?”
Matt snorted. “He’ll string you along until he’s bored and then toss you aside.”
“Oh, you mean like Shayne did?” Jasper asked with a sneer. At least Vincent wasn’t teasing him with something he wasn’t willing to give.
“Matt—” Keith said, but Matt talked over him.
“He goes through play partners like you go through games. He doesn’t even stay with them long enough to form a relationship.”
Who the hell was asking for a relationship? “Great. Then I’ll have maybe a few months of great sex before I go back to being miserable.” He shoved to his feet, about to ask Amber how he could use her guest access next week when he noticed the way Matt was staring at him. “What?” he snapped.
“He had sex with you?”
“How the fuck is that any of your business?” He wasn’t sure what the hell Matt’s problem was, but he was done with this conversation. “I’m going back to bed,” he said, escaping up the stairs to his room.
He locked the door behind him and collapsed on his bed with a groan.
He knew they meant well, but having so many people prying into his life after so many years of being ignored was too much to deal with sometimes.
He tried not to be a dick about it, since he was living here rent-free, with the promise to help with chores, but fuck. Did they have to be so overbearing?
He needed to finish registering for his classes since they filled up fast. He couldn’t risk losing his scholarship because he missed a required course, but he couldn’t muster the strength to get up and deal with that scheduling nightmare yet.
He buried his face in his pillow with another groan.
All he could think about was Vincent’s hands on him.
The memory of Vincent sinking to his knees in front of the chair, with all that refined grace and authority, was the single hottest thing he’d ever seen.
He didn’t know why Matt was so shocked by the idea of Vincent having sex with him, but he couldn’t help but assume it was because they both knew Vincent was way out of his league.
