Chapter 23 - Makari
I ripped her clothes off and stood staring at her for a moment. “You are glowing,” I breathed out. Grabbing her by the arms, I flung her to the bed. The lust raging through my veins was unbearable. My drive was uncontrollable. I had to have her, all of her.
Looking at her lying naked on the bed, I swallowed hard before biting down on my lower lip. Grace lay with her legs pulled up. Moving onto the edge of the bed on my knees, I placed my hands on Grace and opened her legs.
As I pushed her legs wide, I lowered myself. Glancing up at her, she grinned as I started licking her pussy. Her succulent garden was already flowing with juices. She giggled and shook her head as I sucked her clitoris into my mouth.
Moving my tongue swiftly, I stuck it into her, flung it up and down between her pussy lips, and lingered over her flowering pleasure spot. Grace moaned loudly. Her body started to shake. She grabbed hold of my arms as she softly spoke. “Oh, baby.”
I continued until she was trembling, her moans filling the air as she orgasmed. A couple of times, she pushed her legs in, wanting to close them. But I held them down through her orgasm.
Her body got limp as I sat up, her breathing heavy. She smiled from ear to ear. She was so stunning. Moving up, I lifted her ass slightly as I pushed my cock into her moist pussy. Grace gasped as I filled her.
I placed one hand next to her head and lifted her to me with the other. Her hands moved to my shoulders and lightly scratched my back as I started moving. Grace turned her head into my arm next to her. Leaning down, I kissed her neck as she softly bit my arm.
Grace moaned as I moved in slow thrusts. “Baby, I love you,” she breathed out.
“I love you too,” I replied softly.
Our sounds of pleasure filled the night air. I was sure even the neighbors could hear us. But I didn’t care. Her happiness was all I wanted. I knew the energy pumping through my dick wouldn’t last as I had come with the blowjob.
But then I felt Grace’s pussy tightening as she started to climax again. Sitting back on my knees, I took hold of her hips. Lifting her, I rose and pounded harder. She dug her nails into my thighs as she screamed, flowing like a river.
I held her tight as I came inside her. Lowering her to the bed, I placed my arms beside her head, breathing out hard. Leaning down, I kissed her forehead, cheeks, tender lips, and neck.
Looking into her eyes, I spoke softly. “You sure we aren’t harming the baby?”
Grace kissed me tenderly as she replied. “I promise.”
Nodding, I got up. “I’m going to pour us a bath,” I said, heading to the bathroom. Looking back, she just lay there smiling at me.
“But I just had one,” she replied. Grace turned her head to one side, smiling.
“I know, but I want to take one with you if you don’t mind?” I asked. She nodded and lay back.
After filling the tub with hot water, I added a ton of bubbles. Looking at my creation, I smiled as I went back to the room. Taking Grace’s hand, I pulled her from the bed into my arms. “Ready for a magical bath?” I asked, kissing her tenderly.
“Sure,” she whispered into my ear.
I picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. Lowering her into the water, Grace giggled as she spoke. “So many bubbles. How will I ever survive?”
“Don’t worry, I am coming to save you,” I said as I got in with her.
Sitting behind her in the tub, I gently pulled her back. Grace lay against my chest as I proceeded to wash her arms, stomach, and chest.
After our bath, I pulled on a pair of tracksuit pants and a shirt before heading to my office. I had to call Vadik. There was so much I wanted to tell him. But not just him. I wanted to shout from the rooftops.
“Hey, brother, I said as he picked up. “Can I ask you guys to come over? I have some news to share.”
“News?” he asked. “You want all of us or just me?”
“Tasha as well,” I added quickly.
I could hear Vadik breathing through the line. I imagined he was rubbing his head or chin. “Okay, no problem, we’ll be there in a bit,” he replied.
“Great, see you then,” I said before hanging up. I headed downstairs to find Pavel.
Pavel was in the kitchen, starting to prepare supper. “Pavel,” I exclaimed. “Vadik and Tasha are on their way to join us.”
“What?” he asked, looking up. His brows were raised, and his eyes were larger than usual.
“Yes, I asked them over. We have something to discuss,” I added.
He turned his head to the side, eyeing me as he spoke. “Okay, I guess.” He turned around, taking a bowl out of the cupboard. “Should I make double food then?”
“No, maybe put on a fresh pot of coffee,” I said, heading to the door. Stopping, I turned back as I continued. “No, never mind, just get glasses for us. I’ve got something else in mind.”
“Whatever,” I heard him calling out as I headed to the basement. We had a wine cooler in one corner. It was home to our finest wines and champagnes. These were kept under lock, saved for special occasions. This was such an occasion.
Next to the cooler was a deep freezer filled to the brim with ice. I grabbed an ice bucket from the shelf next to the cooler and filled it with ice.
Hearing the doorbell, I just grabbed a bottle before going upstairs. Pavel was already at the door. Passing him, I entered the lounge. The glasses were already there on a tray. I placed the ice bucket beside them and covered it with a cloth.
Turning to go get Grace, I was met by my brothers. “Come in,” I said, stepping to the side. “Have a seat. I’m just going to call Grace.” Once they were out of the way, I moved quickly.
Grace was sitting on the side of the bed. “Grace,” I said, entering the room. “Vadik and Tasha are here.”
“Okay,” she replied, getting up. We went back down and joined my brothers and Tasha in the lounge.
“Thank you for coming,” I said, walking to one of the double couches. I patted the seat next to me, showing Grace to sit down. Pavel appeared to have left as he wasn’t there anymore.
Vadik turned to face me as he spoke. “You made it sound important. Looking at your face, I would say it’s good news, though.”
“I think so,” I huffed, getting up. Peeking around the doorway, I called Pavel. “Pavel, where did you go? Please join us.”
“Yes, yes, I’m coming,” he replied in a teasing tone. He always tried to make light of any situation he felt uncomfortable.
As he entered, Vadik spoke up half impatiently. “Well, spit it out now. What’s the news? What was so important?”
Taking Grace’s hand, I squeezed it carefully. Glancing at her, I beamed. Looking at Vadik and Tasha on the edge of their seats, I finally broke the news. “We’re going to have a baby!”
“What?” Pavel huffed. He stepped back and leaned against the wall. The look on his face was almost comical. He lifted his hands into the air and bent forward as he breathed out heavily. Placing his hands on his knees, he looked up at us. “You’re having a baby? How did that happen?”
Laughing, I replied softly. “I’m sure you know how. But, yes, Grace is pregnant. We’re having a baby.”
“Well, well, well,” Vadik said as he and Tasha got up. “Congratulations to you both. We’re happy for you,” he added, holding out his hand. Tasha pulled Grace into a hug, and the two of them stood for a bit.
“I’m delighted for both of you,” Tasha finally said as they let go.
“Thank you,” Grace replied, smiling. “It’s a shock, but I think we have covered everything.”
Vadik leaned closer to me, whispering. “You know you will have to inform the Chernykh family. We have to be upfront about any changes now.”
“Yes, I know. I will definitely inform them. I was planning on going there first thing,” I replied. “Now then, how about a celebratory drink?” I added uncovering the ice bucket.
“So that’s why you wanted glasses,” Pavel huffed. “But I have the wrong ones, then.”
Vadik pulled him in under his arm and rubbed his head vigorously as he spoke. “I’m sure it won’t matter to anyone tonight.”
I opened the bottle and poured a glass for everyone. Grace only had a sip and then changed to fruit juice. Tasha and Nadia had pulled her to sit with them. The three discussed baby things.
Entranced by her glow, I almost missed hearing what Pavel was saying. “You are going to be a father. That’s so scary, bro. Are you nervous?”
Grinning at him, I shook my head as I replied. “Only a little. But I’m overjoyed and excited as well.”
Pavel nodded. Reaching out, he placed a hand on my shoulder as he spoke. “I’m sure you’ll figure it out.’
Vadik smiled. In his usual calm tone, he interrupted. “Have the two of you decided on names yet?” I could hear a hint of happiness in his tone. “I’m just curious if you’re considering family names?”
Grace laughed softly as she rose from her place between the other two. She apparently decided she would answer that question as she walked closer. “No, don’t you think it’s a bit early for such things? We have lots of time to consider our options and make a selection.”
Stepping past Vadik, I took her hand and squeezed it tenderly. “Yes, we are going to wait with names for now,” I added.
Sitting back down with her, I sipped from my glass. It felt like I was shining as the love and joy in the room filled me up. I was glad everyone took the news with such graciousness.
Vadik tapped Pavel on the shoulder so he would move from his seat so he could sit down. He leaned closer, whispering to me. “Have you told the family?”
Turning in my seat, I shook my head lightly. “Not yet,” I replied softly. “I will make an appointment with them. I feel it is something I should do face-to-face.”
Vadik shrugged, but I could see he felt the same way. Sitting back, we listened as the women discussed shopping trips. Soon they were on selecting a baby room, color charts, paints, and animals.
We all had our own opinions and something to add. We got so caught up in the topics that we lost all track of time. Tasha glanced at her watch and tapped Vadik on the arm as she spoke. “We have to go. Or we’ll be late for our dinner with my family.”
Vadik let out a sigh but got up. “Yes, you are right,” he said, nodding.
We all rose and walked with them to the door. “Thank you for coming,” I said, shaking Vadik’s hand.
“We’ll continue this discussion later, don’t think it’s over,” Vadik teased as he walked with Tasha and Nadia to the cars waiting.
We stood in the door watching as they left, waving goodbye. Pulling Grace into my arms, I kissed her forehead. “I have a meeting to schedule,” I said, closing the door.
“No problem, I’ll assist with supper,” she responded as she headed for the kitchen.
“Pavel,” I called after him before he disappeared into the kitchen. He stopped and looked back at me.
Before I could ask if he was staying in, he beat me by answering with me asking. “Oh, yeah, I forgot to tell you I’m going out tonight, so don’t wait up.”
I watched as she disappeared into the kitchen before heading to my office. Sitting down, I breathed in deeply. I knew this had to be done. Yet, I dreaded it. Picking up the phone, I dialed Iosif.
“Evening, Iosif,” I said as he answered. “I’m sorry to bother you so late. I just wanted to know if we could have a meeting first thing in the morning. Or whenever it suits you.”
The line was silent, and for a moment, I thought we had disconnected. “Iosif?” I asked.
“Yes, I’m here. We can schedule for the morning,” he replied.
Letting go of the breath I was holding, I replied in a light tone. “Thank you. I’ll be there around seven.”
“Sure,” he added before the line went dead.
My mind mulled over it the entire evening. We had a quick supper and then went to bed. Grace fell asleep almost instantly. She had been complaining constantly that she was tired. Now I could see it.
I woke up before her again. Slipping out of bed, I got ready for my meeting. With news like this, I dared not be late. I left without even having coffee first.
As I arrived at the Chernykh residence, the door opened. Once again, Avgust stood there waiting. Sighing, I got out and walked over. I had to swallow the lump suddenly pushing up in my throat before speaking. Morning, Avgust.”
He stepped back into the house, allowing me to enter as he replied. “Morning, not sure it’s good, though. Iosif is waiting in the office.”
Nodding, I walked towards the back office, which they now seemed to use for meetings. Avgust was on my heels all the way. The house oddly felt empty and was overly quiet. I wondered where the sister had gone.
The office door was open. Entering, I saw Iosif standing behind the desk. “Morning,” he huffed, waving his hand at the chair opposite him. “Have a seat, and then tell me what was so important you had to come here?”
“Morning, Iosif,” I replied, glancing at Avgust.
He stepped back out and pulled the door shut. Everything about their behavior this morning was different. I wondered if they had found out on their own somehow. Shaking my head, I pushed the idea out.
Looking back at Iosif, I couldn’t help but feel the smile forming on my lips. “You appear happier than normal,” Iosif noted. “Can I assume our troubles have been dealt with?”
“Oh, no, sorry,” I replied, shaking my head. “I am happy, but not because of that.”
Iosif’s face looked like it was about to explode as it turned red. “Then what?” he huffed.
I swallowed hard before continuing. “Actually, I came to tell you that Grace and I are expecting.”
He sat staring at me. The color returned to his face. I could see he was thinking hard, consuming my words. Before he ever responded, the door flew open. It collided with the wall, filling the air with a loud cracking sound.
Turning slightly, I saw that Timofey was also there. Avgust stormed towards me, stopping practically on top of me.
“What the hell is this?” Avgust demanded. “Grace has a job to do, and no matter what happened between the two of you, she has to do her part!”
Rising to my feet, I felt my anger bubbling. “Avgust,” I said, trying to keep my tone calm. “Please, no one said she’s not going to still do her part.”
Avgust was trembling with rage. I had to fight hard not to hit him. He has been trying my every nerve these last couple of weeks. I could feel drops of spit landing on my face as he spoke. “How the fuck is she going to do what is needed if she’s knocked up? Will you allow her close to danger with your brat inside her?”
I felt my head about to explode as my anger surged. “Of course, I am going to protect them!” I spat back. “But she will do her part. I told you I would ensure it happens. Is my word no longer enough?”
Stepping up to me, Avgust took hold of my shirt, pulling me to him as he raged on. “What’s stopping her from ratting us out afterward? Or disappearing? She knows too much!”
No longer able to control my emotions, I swung at him. As my fist collided with his stomach, he huffed and let go of my shirt. He raised his fist as I started hollering at him, “She’s not leaving me! We are a couple, you piece of…”
Before I could continue, Iosif cleared his throat as he rose from his desk. “Enough now,” he thundered. His tone was calm but authoritative, making people pay attention. Walking around the table, he headed to the front door of his office.
He stopped at the door, turning to face me as he continued. “I think it is fine to keep her. I’m sure she’ll make a good addition to the team.”
Avgust slammed his fist against the wall. He was about to continue our argument. But then Iosif raised his hand and spoke sternly. “Enough, brother. Let’s see where it goes. Everyone deserves some happiness in life.” He turned to me, extending his hand.
“Thank you, Iosif,” I breathed out as I shook his hand.
I knew Iosif was more level-headed than Avgust. But something in his grin unsettled me. My stomach turned, and for a moment, I thought I might be sick. “No problem, you take care. We can talk more about it at a later date,” he said.
“Yes, thank you. Have a good day,” I replied, turning to Timofey as he opened the door. Walking across the driveway, I could feel them staring at me. Getting into my truck, I started her immediately. Taking a couple of deep breaths, I waved as I drove off.
This didn’t go as I had hoped. I had a bad feeling about it. But it was done. We would take things as they came our way. I checked in at two of our warehouses, making sure things were running smoothly. The house was dark by the time I pulled up. I hoped Grace and Pavel would be asleep. I didn’t want any more confrontations.
Opening the front door slowly, I listened. All was quiet. I sneaked up the stairs and into the room. Grace was sleeping peacefully. Entering the bathroom, I quickly undressed and gently got into bed next to her. I lay awhile mulling over everything before I finally fell asleep.
