Chapter 21
Chapter Twenty-One
Addison
Two weeks had passed since she’d admitted to being in love with her Little ones, and it had pretty much been the best two weeks of her life.
Danny still wasn’t ready for her cock, but after that first day he hadn’t balked at being plugged, either.
Every morning, before their first classes, her girl and her boy reported to Addison’s office so she could fill their bottoms with her chosen plug of the day.
She’d started out with the thinner plugs, especially for Danny, but the past few days she’d worked them up to larger plugs.
Danny had whined about the change, especially this morning when she’d placed an exceptionally large plug in each of their bottoms. Even Kylie had protested the size of it, despite all her experience.
But all the whining and pouting in the world hadn’t deterred Addison, and both her little loves had been flushed with embarrassment and glassy-eyed desire by the time they’d left her office.
She’d have to plan something extra special for them later that night, to let them know how proud she was that they’d submitted even when they clearly hadn’t wanted to.
Lost in her daydreams about how to reward her Little loves, she didn’t hear the first knock on her door. The second, more insistent knock jarred her out of her imaginings, a light flush heating her cheeks at the realization she’d been so distracted. “Come in.”
The door opened and Derek Hawkins poked his head in, an apologetic smile on his face. “I need a favor.”
Leaning back in her chair, she grinned up at him. “Well, well. This is a surprise. What can I do for you, Master Derek?”
She’d used his title specifically to needle him, and judging by the twitch of his lips he knew it.
Closing the door behind him, he settled in her single visitor’s chair.
“Professor Dalton was meant to be taking a group of students to see a production of A Streetcar Named Desire in Bozeman this weekend, but he’s sick.
I was hoping you’d be able to take his place. ”
It would mean missing out on time with her boy and her girl, which was disappointing to say the least. Especially when she’d been looking forward to rewarding them. “Nobody else is available?”
“I can check around and ask, but I know Samuel is taking his Eliza to visit with her parents and there are a few others who will be out of pocket.”
“All right. If there’s someone else who can take my place, I’d prefer to spend the weekend with my Little ones, but I am happy to help out if needed.”
A wide grin split his face. “Excellent. I’ll ask around some more, but in the meantime I’ll have Dalton send you the information. I appreciate the help, Addison, the students will be devastated if we have to cancel.”
“Of course.”
She tried not to worry too much about the change of plans as she made her way to her next class. But when Kylie and Danny rushed into her office before lunch for their standing “plug removal” date without a word from Derek, she had no choice but to tell them.
“I’m afraid we’re going to have to rearrange our weekend plans a bit, my loves,” she said, keeping her tone as gentle as possible while baring their bottoms to her gaze.
“What? Why?” Craning her neck to look over her shoulder, Kylie pitched her voice up to a whine, her bottom lip puffing out in a pout at the news.
“Professor Dalton is sick, so I’m taking his place on a group outing to Bozeman. I’ll be leaving tonight and won’t be back until Sunday afternoon.”
“But we were supposed to have a date night on Saturday!” Tears filled her girl’s eyes, and they might as well have been daggers straight to Addison’s heart.
“I know, baby. Mommy will make it up to you another time.”
“It’s okay, Ky.” Laying his hand over Kylie’s, Danny squeezed and offered her a reassuring smile. “We can have fun, just the two of us. Oh! We could have that gaming marathon we’ve been talking about! I’ll even introduce you to the guys if you want.”
Gratitude welled in Addison’s chest as she gripped the end of his plug. “That sounds like a fun weekend, don’t you think, little dove?”
“I guess.” But judging by the sulk in her voice, Kylie wasn’t convinced.
And she wasn’t likely to be any happier about it once Addison finished her talk. “I know it’s not ideal, baby, but it sounds like you and Danny will have a fun weekend without me. But there are some extra rules.”
Both her Little ones groaned at that announcement, just as Danny’s plug slid free.
Setting it aside to be cleaned when they were done, she moved onto her babygirl, giving her bottom a hard squeeze.
A reminder that Mommy was in charge, even when she wasn’t going to be around.
“First off, Danny is in charge this weekend. Which means if your sister breaks any rules, it’s your job to report them to Mommy. ”
“So you really do want me to be a tattletale?”
“No, I want you to be a responsible big brother and keep an eye on your little sister. We’ve already had this discussion and I thought you understood the difference. However, if that’s too much responsibility for you, I can send you both to the Littles’ Wing for the weekend instead.”
“Danny!” Kylie’s voice pitched up to a whine. “I don’t wanna go to the Littles’ Wing!”
Looking slightly panicked, Danny shook his head. “You don’t need to do that. I can handle it, I promise.”
“Good boy. Now the next rule is, I don’t want either of you leaving the Ranch while I’m out of town. Even to go up to the Ridge.”
It was, she was willing to admit, a bit excessive. Especially since if they were to leave the Ranch they’d either be together or with a larger group. But she would sleep easier knowing they were both tucked away safely at Rawhide while she wasn’t around to keep an eye on them.
Kylie whined and whimpered more than usual as her plug was removed, and Addison wasn’t sure if it was from the plug itself or the news that their date night would need to be delayed.
Either way, Addison gave her plenty of snuggles when it was all done and assured her everything would be fine and she’d have the best time with Danny over the weekend.
Eventually, Kylie seemed more settled, so she sent them both on their way to lunch with a kiss.
“Oh, one last thing before you go.” She paused, waiting for them both to turn and face her. “Rule number six still applies. No pleasure for either of you until Mommy gets back from her trip.”
That reminder earned her another round of pouting and whining protests, but instead of making her feel guilty, they only fed her sadist soul. Either they would obey and they’d be needy Little messes by the time she returned on Sunday or they wouldn’t and she’d have an excuse to punish them.
It was a win-win for her, really. Though it was clear her Little ones didn’t agree.
Ah, well. She was looking forward to seeing which path they’d chosen when she returned from her trip.
Kylie
“Aw, come on, Ky. We’re having fun. Cheer up.”
Guilt pricked at the base of her skull as she picked up her controller again. “Sorry. I just miss her.”
“Me, too. But we’ll get to see her again tomorrow.”
“I know.” And really, it wasn’t that long. Plenty of people went days, even weeks or months without seeing their partners. But she’d gotten so used to Mommy always being there and she was just feeling… off.
“What if we had extra ice cream after dinner?”
Ice cream wasn’t as good as having their Mommy around, but it was a good perk. “How much extra?”
“Two more scoops and you can have as many toppings as you want.”
There was a hint of desperation in his voice that added to the guilty feelings. But not quite enough for her to turn him down flat. “But that’s against the rules. Mommy said we had to follow the rules.”
“She also said I’m in charge. So I’m making an executive decision that we deserve an extra treat tonight.”
Tapping a finger against her chin, she pretended to consider the offer. “Well…”
As she was toying with him, her phone rang, and her heart dropped into her stomach at the sight of her actual mother’s face on the screen. “Ugh. I have to take this.”
Pushing up from the floor where they’d been playing their game, she headed for the relative privacy of his bathroom. “Hi, Mom.”
“Kylie! I haven’t heard your voice in weeks. I was beginning to think you’d lost your phone.”
Fresh guilt wormed its way in. “Sorry. Just been busy with finals and stuff.” It wasn’t entirely a lie as finals were less than a month away so she had been mentally preparing for them, it just also wasn’t the real truth.
As much as she loved Danny and Addison, she wasn’t quite ready to tell her family about them.
“Oh, good. That’s what I was calling about. Have you heard anything about any of the Masters programs you’ve applied to?”
And there went more of the guilt, piling itself up in her stomach. “No, not yet.”
Truth was, she hadn’t actually applied for anything.
No matter how many times she tried, nothing felt right.
But her parents would never understand that she didn’t actually want to use her brain the way everyone had always told her she should.
Right now, she was happier than she’d ever been just being Addison’s babygirl, and the thought of anything more was too overwhelming to even consider most days.
So she’d just been flat-out ignoring her parents and the pile of applications she was supposed to be submitting and pretending it would all just fix itself eventually.
“Hmm.” Her mother’s tone turned thoughtful. “Aren’t Eliza’s parents professors? Maybe they could make some calls, get things moving a bit faster.”
Closing her eyes, she rubbed at a spot in the middle of her forehead where she could feel a headache brewing. “I don’t think that’s how it works, Mom.”
“Well, you’ll never know if you don’t ask. Sometimes it’s all about who you know and they’re some of the top minds in their fields.”
“I’ll ask.” She wouldn’t, but it was the easiest way to get her mother off her back, at least for now. “Um, I need to get back to studying. Talk to you later. Give Dad a kiss from me.”
“Of course, honey. Good luck with finals!”
Tucking her phone back in her pocket, she gave herself a minute to calm down before plastering a smile on her face and returning to Danny’s bedroom. But one look at his expression told her she wasn’t going to be able to fake the smile for long.
“Why are you lying to your mom, Kylie?”
Steel she wasn’t used to hearing from him infused his words, tumbling her straight back into her Little space. Heat rushed to her cheeks as she shifted from foot to foot. “I don’t wanna talk ‘bout it.”
“Too bad. Finals aren’t for weeks still and we certainly aren’t studying right now.” He pointed to his bed. “Sit, and talk.”
“I’m not a fucking puppy, Daniel,” she snapped, instantly regretting the words as soon as they tumbled from her mouth.
Danny’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “You’re not, but you are a very naughty Little girl. So you can either sit and tell me what’s going on, or I can text Mommy right now and let her know she has a Little girl who needs her mouth washed out with soap.”
“No, Danny, don’t tell! I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I won’t say it again!”
“Talk to me, and I won’t tell.”
Collapsing onto the edge of his bed with a sigh, Kylie dropped her head into her hands—and told him everything.
“My parents want me to be an engineer.”
“Yeah, I knew that. But you don’t want to be one.”
Shock had her jerking her head up. “How did you know that?”
Snorting out a laugh, he grabbed the rolling chair from his desk and sat facing her.
“Because, Ky. You’re the most organized, responsible person I know.
If you really wanted to be an engineer you wouldn’t be taking classes at Rawhide.
You’d be at the best possible college, getting the best possible grades, so you could get into the best possible graduate program.
But you are here, which means that’s not what you really want. ”
“Okay, it’s a little unnerving that you know me so well.”
He lifted a shoulder in a shrug. “You’re my best friend. And one of the women I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
Warmth spread through her chest. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” Leaning over he took her hands in his and squeezed. “You know what you need?”
“Ice cream?”
“Well, duh. But… I think what you need more is to talk to Mommy.”
Tears pricked at her eyes. “I’d love that. But she’s busy.”
“So? We’ll go surprise her in Bozeman. By the time we get there, the play should just be letting out or pretty close to it and we can spend the night with her at the hotel.”
She really did want nothing more than for Mommy to hold her and tell her everything would be fine. “She told us not to leave the Ranch.”
“Yeah, but like the ice cream, I’m making an executive decision as your big brother. And it’s not like we’re going out partying or anything. We’re going to see her. There has to be a loophole for that. And if there’s not, I’ll take all the blame and the punishment.”
Excitement replaced worry and she bobbed her head enthusiastically. “Okay! Let’s go!”
