Chapter 28
Chapter
Twenty-Eight
SUTTON
I nk pulls out his phone and shoots a text off to someone before tossing it onto the end table next to the bed. Yanking his shirt over his head, he throws it onto my pile of dirty clothes, his pants following suit.
“Uh, what are you doing?” I ask.
“You’re here so I’m here.” He shrugs as he pulls the covers back and climbs into bed. “You comin’? I want to get some sleep before tomorrow.”
“What’s tomorrow?” I ask, still not moving from my spot.
“Asked Prez to call a meet. I want to make sure he’s down with how I want to handle this.”
Oh boy.
“Is it really necessary to get everyone involved?”
I don’t think I would ever forgive myself if something happened to one of them because of me.
“You let me in, but do you trust me fully?”
Do I?
I know he would never hurt me intentionally.
And if he did, he would have no clue he was hurting me.
Something tells me it would mess him up more than it would me.
The only reason I didn’t immediately tell him about the note is because I forgot about it until I started talking through everything with Evan.
She makes her drinks so strong I think she could get me to promise to name my first-born child after her.
“Yeah, I do.”
Ink’s eyes warm at my admission as he opens his arms. “Then get the fuck over here and cuddle with your man, bunny.”
That has me moving. Quickly stripping down, this time not caring if he watches, I put on the black T-shirt he threw in the dirty clothes pile that’s tight and fitted on him but loose and flowy on me and climb into my man’s arms.
“So…” I trail off as I trace the Dirty Devils logo on his chest.
“If you have somethin’ to say, bunny, then say it. No secrets with me.”
“You’re my man?”
“Were you present for the past few conversations we had?”
“Yeah.”
“There’s your answer.”
Hmm… I’m not liking that.
“Don’t you think that you should have asked me?”
“Asked you what?”
“To be your girlfriend.” Ink’s chest shakes beneath me as I push up on one arm to look at him. “What’s so funny?”
“Bunny, I’m no one’s boyfriend.”
Tilting my head, I look at him, confused. Maybe I’m not following like I thought I was. “Then what do you mean?”
“Babe, I’m 35. That’s too fuckin’ old to be someone’s boyfriend. We aren’t in high school. I’m your man and you’re my old lady.”
My nose scrunches up at that. “Old lady?”
Ink sighs. “Just means you’re mine, bunny.”
Lying back down against his chest, I smile. I can’t remember the last time I was this happy.
“Have you heard anything on my car? ”
“It’s a pile of shit. You’re getting somethin’ else. It’s not worth putting any more money into.”
I pause my doodling on his chest. Damn. I was really hoping it would be somewhat fixable.
“I was going to start looking at apartments so you can tell the guys to forget about the car. I’ll pay them for looking at it, but I’m not getting something else right now.”
“Yeah, about that, you’re not lookin’ at places.”
I roll my eyes because of course he’d say that.
“I can’t stay with Evan forever, Ink. I’ve only been here a few days, and I already feel like I’m intruding.”
“I know. You’ll be with me.”
Um, what?
“You? At the clubhouse?” I ask, confused about where this is going.
“Yup. We’ll find somethin’ together if you don’t want to live there. We’ll always have a room there.”
“Isn’t this all a little… soon?”
Ink shrugs underneath me. “To anyone else, yeah. But you aren’t just anybody, are you?”
Strike me dead.
“What?” I ask, sounding breathless.
“Where am I?”
“In my bed,” I respond, stating the obvious.
“Right. It can’t be lost on you that my space is right next door.”
Holy crap.
He’s only here because I’m here.
“Ooh,” I drag out, it’s finally all clicking.
“She’s finally cluin’ in.”
“I think I got it now.”
“You better latch on and never let it go because it’s not changing, not now or ever, bunny. Got it?”
I nod my head against his chest. “I got it.”
Ink couldn’t be more different from Zach. He’s controlling and stubborn, but not in a way where I feel unsafe. I’ve actually never felt more safe. I know I could give this man the reins and let him lead for the rest of my life, and he would never make me do something I wouldn’t want to do.
“Good, baby,” he rumbles, the vibrations in his chest tingle against the side of my face. “Sleep. I’m fuckin’ beat.”
His arms tighten around me, as if he’s afraid I’ll leave him while he isn’t awake. I could never leave this warm embrace in a million years.
A warm, lapping sensation between my legs has me stirring in my sleep. I’m stuck in that weird space where you feel like you’re drifting between fully asleep and not fully awake.
“Stay still,” a deep voice rumbles at the same time two hands press my hips into the mattress, holding them in place. “Your boss is hungry.”
My eyes fly open just as his tongue dances along my clit, making me cry out. My legs have a mind of their own, opening wider for him as each knee touches the bed.
Ink dines as if he hasn’t eaten in days. As if this is his last meal before he’s about to be put to death. On instinct, my hand dives under the sheet, going to his head as my fingers thread through his messy locks, latching on to anything I can find and I press his face in.
“That’s it, bunny,” he praises against my pussy, sending a tingle down my spine.
I feel worshipped as his tongue dips in and out, alternating between my entrance and my clit. It isn’t long before I feel the high I’ve been chasing start at the base of my spine. My inner walls flutter around the tip of his tongue before it disappears.
“No,” I whine, trying to bring his face back to where he was feasting.
“You’re not comin’ without me,” he growls, whipping the sheet off of him and pressing my knees deeper into the mattress, as if my legs can spread any wider.
Ink is naked underneath the sheets, plunging into me without warning. My head digs into the pillow, my neck straining at his intrusion. It’s still a tight fit. The burn from the stretch of him is no less than it was at work.
“Fuck,” Ink groans. “You fit me so good.”
He doesn’t give me time to adjust.
And I don’t want it.
I love the slight pain that comes with him. It makes me feel alive.
It isn’t long before my walls are fluttering around him as the piercing I’m now obsessed with hits that little spot I love over and over, locking him in, never wanting to let him go.
“Milk my cock, bunny. Squeeze it… Yeah. Yeah. That’s it.” Ink throws his head back as my pussy clamps down on him, taking me over the edge. He thrusts to the hilt as my pussy tries to force him out. He follows me over, pulsing spurts of come deep into me.
Ink falls against me, crushing me to the bed as he rests his face in between my breast. “Jesus Christ. I didn’t think the first time would be topped, but here we are.”
Words evade me as I’m still coming down from my high, so I simply bring my hand to the back of his head, holding his face against me, his nose nestled into my breastbone as I’m careful not to brush against my new piercings.
Ink pushes back against my hand, lifting off me enough to look at my face.
A soft smile on his lips as he takes me in.
“You look well and truly fucked. Fuckin’ gorgeous, bunny.
” His eyes dart down to my breasts. “And these tits. I love these fuckin’ tits.
” He pushes them together, bouncing them slightly in his hand before diving face first in, motorboating them.
“Watch it.” I giggle, the air coming out of his mouth is tickling the sensitive skin around the area.
He pulls away with a giant grin on his face .
“How do they feel?” he asks as he looks each piercing over. “They look good.”
“They’re sore,” I admit. And they are. Any small movement or cool air hitting them burns like something fierce.
Ink hums in agreement. “That’s normal. Wear a sports bra today. It’ll keep them from moving around and limit the pain.”
My lips purse together as I try to mentally search through my bags to see if I even packed a sports bra. I honestly don’t remember when the last time I worked out even was. Me and the gym are not friends. Not even acquaintances.
“What time is your meeting?”
“Should already be there, but you pressed up against me all warm and soft was doin’ my head in. Figured I’d eat first.”
“We can’t have you starting your day hungry for your favorite meal,” I say as my eyes widen in shock that those words just came out of my mouth.
“There’s my bad girl.” Ink’s mouth claims mine, deepening the kiss instantly. Breaking away after a few moments, we are both fighting to catch our breath. “I need to get goin’. If I’m not back by the time it’s time to go into the shop, I’ll text you. I don’t want you there while I’m not there.”
My heart warms at the protectiveness laced in his tone. I’ve never had that before and now that I do, it’s a feeling I never want to go away.
“I don’t think Zach would be stupid enough to come back into the shop.”
On the other hand, I didn’t think he would be stupid enough to go there in the first place, but he did.
“You know what today is?”
“Friday?” I ask, feeling like I’m missing something.
“Yeah, it’s that. But it’s also the day he told you he wants your ass back in his house, which isn’t fuckin’ happenin’.”
My heart stops and I feel like I can’t breathe .
“Hey.” Ink’s deep voice barely grabs my attention. “Deep breaths.”
Closing my eyes, I slowly breathe in and out, concentrating on the scent of Ink and not the overwhelming fear that’s consumed me.
“Good girl,” he praises as he caresses my jaw with his thumb. “You with me?”
Nodding my head, I swallow. “I’m with you.”
“Don’t leave this house unless I’m with you, got it?”
“Got it.”
I just hope this nightmare ends today.
