Chapter Twenty Eight

Talia

Day Four

We’ve been sitting here in complete silence again, but we aren’t hurting. I know something is coming, so I am trying my best to remain prepared for whatever is going to happen

Micah comes in, pretends to be sweet, and feeds me like he’s doing me a favor. He does this all while ignoring Soren. They all think they have won, but it’s really just telling me that my plan is progressing perfectly.

When the door opens, Henry and Micah move to Soren and take him down from the shackles.

They lay him on the table, and he is so weak that he can’t even move.

They simply walk out, and Julie continues to watch me.

I meet her eyes for a moment, but then force myself to lie down on the cot like I don’t care that she is about to assault my mate again.

Julie walks over to Soren, and I watch as she grabs his dick and starts jerking him off to force him to get hard. He is too weak to fight it, so he groans unwillingly as he lies on the table. I keep my face and body neutral as she climbs onto the table and mounts him.

“You always did want a sibling when you were little,” Julie groans as she lowers onto his dick. “Maybe Soren can give you that.”

“Maybe,” I say, forcing my voice to sound indifferent. She is testing me to see how strong the bond is, so I muster up every bit of control I have and focus on anything but the forced feelings building in my belly.

She starts bouncing on him, moaning wildly. He continues to groan because he’s too weak to do anything else or fight it. His mind is far sharper than his body at this point.

Orgasm after orgasm, she keeps her eyes on me. She looks for some kind of reaction. I give her nothing but a bored look. My belly is on fire, but I keep it at bay. I don’t know how I’m doing it, but the sheer rage I feel right now is definitely helping.

Dad told me that as my magic reveals itself, I will gain control over things that don’t really make sense.

This must be one of those. I get to control how much of him I feel.

Usually, I would feel it all, but she wants to see that the bond is breaking.

I need for that to happen in order for anything else to progress.

I can’t let it stall for too long either.

Eventually, I guess she gets what she is looking for, because she comes one more time, making him get there also, before she gets off of him.

“Have a good night, Talia,” Julie says as she fixes her skirt.

“You too,” I say calmly. “Have a good night.”

She smiles brightly, convinced that she is winning, but she’s dead and doesn’t even know it yet.

I wait a few minutes before I say anything. “You okay?” I say through our bond.

“You should win an award for all that bullshitting you’re doing,” he says with amusement bleeding through our bond.
