Chapter Thirty Four #3

“Because if you are wrong, she will haunt you for eternity,” Vaughn snorts.

“Let’s do it,” I say.

“Move him back against the wall,” Soren tells the others.

Vaughn and Caine untie Micah and move him over so his back is against the wall, but still strung up by his wrists.

I am confused as to why he is moving this man around like dried meat in a butcher shop.

But then he leans down and grabs the back of my thighs to lift me.

I realize instantly as we smoothly maneuver so my back is pressed against Micah’s chest. I move my panties to the side as he pulls his cock free and thrusts into me.

“Fuck!” I gasp, clinging to him.

“My mate,” he growls, slamming into me.

“Fuck, you feel so much better,” I moan as he fucks me hard, slamming my body against Micah’s.

When I sink my teeth into his neck, he groans and starts pounding into me.

Time blurs as he desperately fucks me while I feed off him.

I am completely at peace, but I can feel something awakening inside of me. It’s subtle, but growing.

When Soren comes, Diego instantly replaces him and fucks me just as desperately. I don’t hesitate to bite down on him and feed.

This is a special moment for us all when we realize that it’s not just Soren I feed off of; it’s all of my mates.

It’s strengthening our bond as all five men cycle through me, fucking me like this is my final moment alive, and I suppose it is.

These are my final moments as just their human mate.

I was never ordinary, but now? Now, we will spend forever connected, and we are choosing this.

Not because our bond told us to or instincts drove us to this, because instincts have nothing to do with how savagely they fuck me as I feed off their bodies.

One by one, all of my mates fuck me and my teeth stay sunken into their necks. I have come so many times that I am weak, but when it’s all over, Soren turns me to face Micah.

“You were never my mate,” I tell Micah. “You were never worthy of forever.”

With a flick of his wrists, Soren twists my neck so rapidly that everything instantly goes dark.

It feels as though only seconds have passed when I gasp and sit up, clutching my throat. I start gasping for air, but hands are all over me, comforting me. When I relax, I look around and see my mates. I am sitting with them in the basement, and they all look fucking thrilled.

“Look at her eyes,” Vaughn says in amazement as he cups my cheek.

My throat is burning, and I can’t shake the feeling. I look around and growl when I see Micah. He looks positively terrified when I stand and slowly walk toward him. I have the wherewithal to glance back at Soren, but he only smiles. “It’s all you, Bunny,” he says. “Feed, and then we can go rest.”

I turn back to Micah, but then reach up and unhook his shackles. When he hits the floor, he immediately throws himself away from me. He’s weak, so he drags himself along the concrete as I slowly stalk him. Tears are heavy in his eyes, threatening to roll down his pathetic face as he sniffles.

“P-Please,” Micah stammers, scooting backward on his ass to not take his eyes off me, but still trying to escape.

I slowly drop down to my knees, and his shrill scream sends energy stabbing through me when I grab his ankle and yank him toward me.

He starts hitting me and trying to push me away.

He is no match for the strength I have developed, so it’s effortless for me to straddle his body and lean down to whisper in his ear as he flails and thrashes under me.

“Pathetic,” I hiss. A sob cracks from his throat, and I can feel my fangs extend from my gums just as I bite down on his neck.

Micah’s screams are ear-piercing as I groan into him and drink.

He grows weak rapidly, but I don’t stop.

I can feel my mates rubbing my back as I draw the blood from his body, eventually making him go limp and lifeless under me.

When I finally pull away, his skin is gray, and the terror still lives in his eyes, but they’re devoid of the evil that used to hide there. He is gone. They are all… Gone.

Caine helps me to my feet, and we go upstairs in silence. I hardly notice Dad is still here until he wraps me in a hug so tight that warmth settles back into my mind. “I am so proud of you, Talia,” he whispers. “I love you so much.”

“I love you, too, Dad,” I murmur back.

Dad leaves, and we all go upstairs. I am still numb as they undress me, but it’s slowly coming back. That sense of humanity hasn’t left me, and I know it will never disappear as long as I have my mates.

Stepping into the shower, I am surrounded by their connection to me. As they gently wash my body, washing away the parts of me that no longer serve this version of myself. They are gentle but steady. It’s telling of forever, truly meaning forever.

All of the monsters that plagued my life are gone now. My mates are at my side, comforting me through this transition. Together, with eyes wide open and hand in hand, we walk into oblivion.
