It's the last week of shooting season six, and the two supervising producers of Keeping Up With the Veterinarians are catching up to discuss a potential storyline for season seven of the show.

EDDIE

You okay? You seem on edge.

RIFF

(gruffly)

I'm fine.

EDDIE

O-kaay. How did your meeting with Gabriel and Seth go?

RIFF

Great. They agreed to the showmance storyline for next season.

EDDIE

Really?

RIFF

Yep.

EDDIE

They both agreed?

RIFF

Is there an echo in here?

EDDIE

So why did I just see them strutting around on Scooter's final day of filming seeming very pissed off? Almost as if the meeting with you didn't go well?

RIFF

What are you insinuating?

EDDIE

Nothing. I'm just asking you what happened so if there is a situation I need to manage, I'm up to speed. Why are you so defensive? Is something wrong?

RIFF

Nothing's wrong. I just have a lot on my mind, that's all.

EDDIE

Okay, fine, whatever. I really don't care. I only wanted to find out whether this showmance storyline is locked in for next season.

RIFF

It is. I just said it is.

EDDIE

Okay. Message received, loud and clear. I guess we're done here.

RIFF

(Leaving)

Good. Some of us have work to do.

EDDIE
