Chapter 6 #3
“Put the pillow between the headboard and the wall. I don’t know if the door is locked, and I don’t want Oliver waking up and catching us fucking.” His cock twitched at her use of the word “fucking.” In response, she tightened her inner muscles and squeezed him until his eyes crossed.
“You have got to stop doing that, or you can forget about the pillow.” He clenched his teeth and appeared to be fighting for control.
She laughed and released him. Remaining buried balls deep inside her, he reached for a pillow and roughly shoved it between the headboard and wall.
“Now, where were we?” Clearly not expecting an answer, he slowly pulled back and then thrust inside.
He hammered her in such a way that brought them both closer and closer to what was guaranteed to be a very satisfying climax.
“Oh, my God,” she panted and rolled her head side to side, the pleasure almost too much.
“You close?” he grunted.
“Yessss,” she whispered.
“Open your eyes and look at me. I want to see your pretty green eyes when you come.”
She did as he asked, watching him through half-closed eyes.
His eyes held her captive, turning darker as they drew her in so deep, she wasn’t sure where he ended, and she began.
The things he made her feel should trouble her, but she was feeling way too good at the moment to care.
She’d think about it again when she was alone and able to put two coherent thoughts together.
Jed buried himself to the root, grinding the base of his cock against her clit.
It was just enough stimulation to send her into the stratosphere.
The intensity of her orgasm took her by surprise, and her mouth fell open on a scream.
Before she could let it loose, his hand quickly covered her mouth, keeping her from waking up Oliver.
Her eyes flew wide as her orgasm exploded, her body bucking beneath him.
He smiled smugly as he coaxed every last tremor from her body.
He moved his hand and supported his fists on either side of her head.
“Now it’s your turn to watch me.” His smile slipped from his face as he pounded into her, intent on finding his release now that she’d found hers.
“Fuck, Sadie. You feel so damn good. I’m gonna come.
” His teeth clenched, and he let go. The muscles in his neck strained as he fought to keep from shouting with his own orgasm.
He dropped his head to her neck and growled until he was finished.
He waited a beat, then pulled out and rolled off her.
Lying on his back, he pulled her into his side, trying to catch his breath.
“You good?” He gave her a quick shoulder squeeze.
“So, so, so good.” She smiled against his chest. “That piercing. Wow.”
A burst of laughter broke free, causing her head to bounce on his chest. “You saying it was a good investment?”
She nodded her head. “Best investment ever.”
“I’m glad you think so. It felt pretty damn good for me, too.” He dropped a kiss on top of her head. “We need to get up so we can get Oliver to school.”
“Oh, I was going to have you drop me at my car, and I was going to take him to school.”
“Why? You’ll have to backtrack. We can drop him off on the way.” He let her go so she could roll off the bed.
“Are you sure? I didn’t want to impose on you more than we already have.” She started digging through her bag, pulling out clothes for both her and Oliver. She grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste and moved to the bathroom. She heard him roll off the bed and follow her to the bathroom.
“It’s not an imposition, and you’re starting to piss me off.
” He raised the toilet seat and started to pee, not caring at all that she was in the bathroom with him.
Damn, his dick was beautiful. She mentally shook her head to refocus on what she was doing.
She got her toothbrush wet and applied toothpaste.
“I’m sorry. That wasn’t my intention. I just didn’t want to assume anything.” She started to put the toothbrush in her mouth, but stopped. “Do you have anything I can feed Oliver for breakfast?”
He frowned and scratched his chin. “I’m not sure what I have to eat. Let me go check it out. If I can’t find anything, we’ll hit a drive-through for breakfast.”
“Okay.” She shoved the toothbrush back in her mouth, scrubbing her teeth quickly.
She had to pee so bad, she thought her bladder might burst. Unlike Jed, she didn’t feel comfortable enough to pee in front of him.
She heard him rummaging around in his dresser out there and sighed in relief when the door opened and closed.
She finished with her teeth and hurried to the toilet.
She sat down and sighed in relief. “Ahhhhh.” She dropped her head back and closed her eyes.
Once she was finished, she went back to where she’d left her clothes on the bed and got dressed.
She piled her hair into a messy bun on top of her head, then sat on the bed to slip on her socks and boots.
Grabbing Oliver’s clothes, she went to the guest room to wake him up.
Pushing the door open, she smiled as she found him lying on his back, one leg hanging out from the covers and one arm over his head.
His mouth was slightly open, and he was sleeping like the dead.
His blonde hair was a wild mess and looked like it was going to take a lot more effort to smooth it down this morning than usual.
She sat on the edge of the bed and gently shook him. “Oliver, it’s time to wake up.”
He mumbled and moaned before turning away from her. He didn’t want to wake up, and she couldn’t blame him. She was dragging butt this morning, too.
“Oliver, do you not want to go to the Christmas store at school today?” That got his attention. He rolled back over and wiped the sleep from his eyes.
“The Christmas store is today?” he asked, still looking a little unfocused.
“Yes. Unless you’re too tired to go to school and would rather stay home.”
“Are you nuts? I’ve been waiting for this forever.” He sat up and scratched his head.
“All right then. Get up and put your clothes on, then meet Jed and me in the kitchen.”
“Jed?” He looked around the room, and it finally registered where they were. “We’re at Jed’s?”
“Yes, honey.” She rubbed his arm. “Are you okay after last night?”
“I was scared when I woke up in the closet, buried under a bunch of clothes. And then that man kept saying your name. I thought he was going to find us. And then you tased Jed in the dick.” He grinned at that, thinking it was funny.
“Will you stop saying dick? That isn’t a word someone your age should know, and please, do not say that word at school.” Sadie closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead. Her eyes opened again, pinning her nephew with her sternest look. “Promise me, Oliver.”
“I promise,” he replied grudgingly.
“And you know once you make a promise you have to keep it, right?” She brushed his hair out of his face and added getting him a haircut to her list of things to do.
“Yes. I know, Sadie.” He rolled his eyes like he thought she was being overly dramatic.
“Okay, then, get up and get dressed.”
He pushed his covers back and instead of getting out at the side of the bed where Sadie was sitting, he ran down to the end and jumped off. “Jed!” he shouted and jumped at him, never doubting the man wouldn’t catch him.
“Ummph!” Jed stepped back on one foot, his arms wrapped tight around her nephew. “You act like you’re happy to see me, bud.”
“I am. You saved us last night, and I was so scared. Then you and your friends showed up and saved us.” He wrapped his arms around his neck and squeezed tight.
Jed’s eyes closed as he hugged him back.
When they opened, he focused on Sadie over Oliver’s shoulder.
She couldn’t decipher what the look was, whether it meant he was happy to receive one of Oliver’s amazing hugs, or he was freaking out and wanted her to rescue him because he didn’t know what to do.
Either way, he choked her up. Her nephew hadn’t had any male figures to look up to since his dad died.
She blinked away the tears threatening to fall and cleared her throat, opting to jump in and rescue Jed. “Oliver, honey. You need to put your clothes on.” Turning to Jed, she asked, “How’s that breakfast situation in your kitchen going?”
“I’ve got bacon cooking, and I’m making pancakes. Does that work for you guys?” He leaned against the door jamb.
“Yes! I love bacon.” Oliver tried to pull his pajama top off, but needed Sadie’s assistance. The ding of the microwave sounded, and Jed went to check on it while she finished helping her nephew dress.
As soon as she helped tie his last shoe, he took off in search of Jed.
She gathered the clothes he’d taken off and went to put them in the bag she’d left on Jed’s bed.
She added her own night clothes to the bag along with her toothbrush.
She fished out Oliver’s toothbrush and deposited it and the toothpaste on the sink in the hall bathroom for after he finished breakfast. She carried the bag to the living room and dropped it on the couch.
Entering the kitchen, her nose scrunched up as her stomach rolled. Jed turned about that time, dropping a pancake onto a plate in front of Oliver. His brow dipped, and he asked if she was okay.
“Yes,” she waved his concern away. “There’s a stomach bug going around, and I think I’ve been trying to catch it. My stomach’s been messed up lately.”
He grunted and nodded his head. “You want coffee?”
“Yes. Please.”
“The pot is over here, cups in the cabinet above. I don’t have creamer, but I have milk and sugar.” He placed three slices of bacon on a paper towel, then set them next to her nephew. Oliver immediately popped a piece into his mouth, grinning happily as he chewed.
“Here’s your plate.” He set two pancakes and some bacon in front of a chair next to Oliver.
She took the seat and was about to take a drink of coffee when she saw Oliver tip the syrup bottle over his pancakes.
Absently, she reached over and pulled it away when he had had enough.
If she let him do it, there would be way too much syrup, and he’d end up making a huge mess.
She poured a little syrup on her pancakes, then set it down for Jed to use.
He turned the stove off and brought his own breakfast to the table, taking a seat across from her.
They all ate in silence for a moment, with Sadie mostly pushing her food around her plate.
“Something wrong with your food?” Jed asked.
“No. Not at all. My stomach is just off this morning.” She’d eaten half of it before her stomach started protesting.
“Are you going to eat your bacon, Sadie?” Oliver eyed the uneaten slices on her plate.
“Here. You can have it.” She gave it to him, then got up to clear her plate and finish her coffee.
While they ate, she went to her purse and pulled out two twenty-dollar bills.
“See this, Oliver?” She waved it at him once she got his attention.
“I’m putting it right here for when you go to the Christmas store.
One is for you, and the other you give to your teacher for any kid who doesn’t have money with them today.
Okay?” She shoved it into the backpack's inner pocket and zipped it up.
“Okay. Thank you, Sadie.” He took a big drink of his milk and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
She smiled and shook her head. He got that from his father.
Even in his thirties, Ryan would wipe his mouth with the back of his hand and forgo any napkin or paper towel she set next to him.
“When you’re done eating, I left your toothbrush in the hall bathroom for you to brush your teeth.
When you’re done with that, bring it back and put it in the bag on the couch. ”
“Okay.”
When he got up to do as she asked, she collected his dirty dishes and put them in the dishwasher. She turned around and found herself pinned to the counter.
“That was awfully nice of you to send money for kids who don’t have any.”
She felt her cheeks flush and tried to blow it off. Shrugging a shoulder like it was no big deal, she said, “Not everyone has the extra money to send, and I hate to think about kids not being able to participate.”
He watched her closely for a moment, like he was trying to see inside her head, then dipped his head, lowering his mouth to hers.
His hands settled on her waist as he kissed her slow and sweet.
Opposite of the way he’d kissed her earlier this morning.
His lips were full and soft and felt amazing against her own.
His tongue dueled with hers, causing her heart to race and her panties to dampen. God, he was so good at that.
“Are your panties wet?” His eyes twinkled as he grinned at her.
Her eyes squinted, and she fought not to smile. “You are entirely too sure of yourself, aren’t you?”
“Well? Am I right?”
She growled and slipped to the side, freeing herself from his grip. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
She walked away to check on Oliver, a huge smile on her face.
“You’re killing me, woman!”
