16. Booker

Chapter sixteen

Booker

“ A date?” Nicky says, sliding his hands around my neck and pressing his whole body to mine.

In front of everyone.

I’m so fucking happy I could cry. Is there a nerve only some people have, going from your heart to your tear ducts? Is that why big emotions always make me want to cry?

Nicky claiming me in front of everyone nearly did me in, and now him being all tactile is pushing me over the edge. I know he said he wanted to keep me, but words and actions are two different beasts.

“The best date you’ve ever been on.” I’m not going to let any other brotherfuckers get one over me.

And I have the perfect plan.

“I need to pick up supplies.” I run my hands over his ass. “Meet me in my room tonight at six.”

He leans in and whispers in my ear. “What kind of supplies are you thinking? You have a six-pack of lube under your bed. Think we’re going to use it all? Think you’re going to take my ass over and over tonight. I think at that point, you can use your own cum as lube.”

I dig my fingers into his cheeks and subtly grind my erection into his. “I’m going to take you upstairs, give your tight hole the pounding you are desperate for, and then I’m going to go get date supplies.”

He whimpers quietly. Before I have the chance to follow through, he’s wrenched from my arms.

Toni is stronger than she looks.

“You both look two seconds away from running off and having your wicked way with each other.” She looks at us like we’re supposed to deny it. “Knew it. That isn’t going to happen. Seeing as we’re all wide awake, we’re going to have breakfast together. Nicky, you are on bacon with me. Booker, you’re on eggs.”

I don’t want to make stupid eggs. I want to go back to bed for a few hours,” I whine.

“Hours? Yeah, right,” she snorts. Before I have the chance to explain just how much stamina I have in the sack, she’s marching off taking Nicky with her.

“Deets now,” Rex says, suddenly all in my face. Echo, Jet, and Fizz all leaning in, not wanting to miss the tea.

“Eight inches, cut, thick, neatly trimmed,” I tell them.

“I hope that’s your dick and not his, you skeeze.”

“No way am I telling you anything about his dick” Great, now I’m thinking about it. The length, the feel, the weight of it on my tongue. Maybe after breakfast I could give him a quick blow job and then run to the local mall for date stuff before my first client. It’s meant to hide a scar left behind from an abusive ex, so there is no way that I will cancel.

“Booker, come on. You know we want deets about how you and Nicky got together officially.”

I hesitate. I don’t know if Nicky or Reed want that story out there.

“Nicky got fed up with my shit and decided to leave, but it made him realize he didn’t want to leave Booker.” Reed pops up. Well, I guess that settles that.

“Aw, that’s lovely.” Jet looks like he has hearts in his eyes. “I’m glad you guys sorted it out.”

“Me too, brother. I knew that Nicky was special the moment I laid eyes on his nipples.” I need him to wear that mesh shirt for me again.

Jet pulls a face okay, “Well, that’s less romantic, more you being perpetually horny.”

“You’re not wrong brother.”

I give Nicky a quick kiss on the cheek and then head out and run on my errands. Sidestepping Toni when she tries to rope me into bacon duties.

I have finally got my man. I’m going to make sure I can keep him by making this the best date he’s ever had.

“Dates are expensive,” I tell Rex as he helps me set up my bedroom for tonight.

“They are when you buy a five hundred dollar Lego set,” he replies in a high-pitched voice. “You know that this isn’t normal, right? Most people spend less than a hundred dollars.”

“I know, man, but this is Nicky. I want to give him the best night ever.”

“Booker,” Pity swims in Rex’s eyes. “You know Nicky isn’t going to leave. He chose you. Claimed you in front of the whole club.”

I run my hand through my hair. “I know. I just need to make sure.”

There is the possibility that I went overboard in the mall, but it’s going to be an epic fucking date. I bought Lord Of The Rings: Rivendell Lego and storage containers to organize all the bricks. Mexican food has been ordered and should be delivered any minute, snacks purchased, and my sexy times playlist downloaded and already playing.

“Do you seriously get off to Justin Timberlake?” Rex asks as he turns on one of the many LED candles I purchased. Firefighters might be sexy, but fire isn’t. No way am I going to maim Nicky on our first date.

I’m going to wait for the fifth to do that.

“He’s literally bringing Sexy Back. Of course it’s on the list.” I ignore the rest of his mutterings and fill my newly purchased bowls with candy and chips.

Once everything is perfect, I shoo Rex from the room and take a quick shower. I’m just pulling my underwear on when there is a knock at my door.

“I got impatient,” a hopeful-looking Nicky says as I open the door.

“I’m not dressed yet,” I laugh. Nicky leans in and swipes at my dimples with his tongue. I slide my hands into his hair and grab hold, moving his lips onto mine in a rough kiss. He pushes me into my room and slams the door behind us. It takes me a second to realize he’s moving us towards the bed, and while I would love nothing more than to sink inside his body, I want him to know that this is more than that for me. We have a date to enjoy.

“Wait,” I gasp out, pulling myself from his arms. “I want to do our date. Sex later.”

He blinks at me a few times, trying to clear his lust haze. I watch as he looks around the room, smiling shyly.

“Is all of this for me?” he whispers, running his hand through his cropped hair.

“Yes. Well, I guess it’s for us.” I peck his cheek and move towards my dresser and put on a nice pair of jeans and a shirt quickly. “I want to show you that I’m serious about you. I want more than just sex, Nicky. I want all of you. I thought about going out for a date, but that can be next time. I wanted to be selfish and keep you all to myself this time.”

“I love…this.” He stammers. “I love all of this.”

I beam at him. “Let’s start with the Lego.”

The next three hours go by in a whirl of brick building, snack eating, and kiss stealing before we get interrupted by Nicky’s phone blowing up.

“Sorry, Dimples, I should have turned my phone off.” He says, giving it a death stare. “I’ll check who it is quickly, and then I’ll turn it off.”

“Go for it,” I tell him, stuffing a few M&M’s in my mouth.

He taps away for a minute before he turns it off and then straddles my lap.

“Was it your website work or something else?” I ask. I’m a nosy bitch. So sue me.

“It was something else,” he kisses my nose. “You know, if you ever need me to find anyone for the club, I will, right? I mainly find men who are skipping out on alimony and child support even though they can afford it. But I do help people with lower incomes. Usually as a freebie.”

I feel a pit in my stomach. “What do you mean?”

“I’ve picked up enough to know that you do more than fundraisers for DV survivors.” My hands tighten around his waist, but I don’t say anything. “I know that someone is evading you. Just say the word, and I’ll help.”

He presses a kiss to my lips, ending the conversation. I feel relieved because I have no clue what to say. What if Kenny is right, and seeing the other side of what we do freaks Nicky out? I won’t risk losing him. I just can’t.

He has quickly become my world.
