I shouldn’t be standing.
Everybody in the room knows it.
Including me.
Doesn’t stop me from being here anyway.
I lean harder against the ops table when another wave of pain slices through my side, keeping my expression neutral while the room spins just slightly around the edges.
Nobody comments on it.
Mostly because they’re too focused on Sienna.
Good call.
“She’s right,” I say, my voice rougher than usual. “They’re not moving Elizabeth around randomly.”
Sienna doesn’t look at me.
But I notice the small shift she makes toward my side of the room anyway.
Closer.
Like it happened by instinct instead of choice.
“They’ve had her for four years,” she says quietly.
The room stills around her.
“That means infrastructure. Routine. Stability.”
Cal nods once immediately.
“Which means we can find it.”
Simple.
Direct.
Exactly why I like him.
No dramatic speeches.
Just solutions.
Lance leans over the monitor. “How?”
Sienna turns back toward the screens.
And there she is again.
Focused.
Sharp.
Terrifying in the best possible way.
She starts pulling data across multiple monitors at once, fingers moving rapidly across the keyboard while maps bloom onto the screens.
“Generator signature,” she says.
Satellite overlays flash beside industrial zoning maps.
“Off-grid narrows it,” Ronan says from behind me. “But not enough.”
“It will.”
No hesitation.
No uncertainty.
Sienna zooms into a cluster of abandoned infrastructure sites while code scrolls rapidly beside the map.
“I cross-reference outdated industrial zones with obsolete power systems, abandoned facilities, and non-networked generator dependencies.”
I glance toward Cal.
He’s watching her with the exact same realization settling over his face that hit the rest of us days ago.
Sienna isn’t just intelligent.
She’s operating on an entirely different level.
“You already know where to start,” Cal says quietly.
Sienna’s fingers pause for half a second over the keyboard.
“Yeah,” she whispers.
That answer lands heavier than I expected.
Because it means somewhere deep down—
She’s been looking for Elizabeth this whole time.
