Chapter 11
CHAPTER ELEVEN
Landry made me wait until the following weekend. He explained he wanted the entire weekend since it would be disorienting and very consuming.
I agreed and proceeded to work through the slowest week of my life.
By the time Friday came I was about to jump out of my skin. I’d only seen Landry a couple of times during the week since he was working on some fancy thing I didn’t understand and I was wrapping up the gala outfits. The event was only a few days away.
“Loverboy’s here,” Amber singsonged as I was folding the last piece of fabric for the night.
“Thank you, Amber. Have a lovely date and I will see you Monday.”
“I’m just warning you now, I’ll be interrogating you…it is time.”
I rolled my eyes and opened the door. She was parked by Landry’s car and he waved as we passed by.
“Night, Amber.”
She giggled and got in her car.
Landry was smiling when I got into the passenger’s seat. “Ready.”
“Very.”
The ride to his place was nice. He told me about his project and I explained that the gala designs were all finished and I was looking forward to some breathing room.
As soon as the door to his place closed he kissed me. A toe curling, goose bump popping kiss.
“How this has to work is I’ll shift, cut myself with my talon, and you must drink just a sip of my blood.”
He’d explained this to me the other day, it was bizarre but it was their way and I’d respect that.
“Okay.”
“Afterward, you’ll sleep, you won’t be able to fight it but you’ll wake very horny and that’s gonna be the best part.”
Inside the habitat I watched as he stripped. He was a delicious man and this time I didn’t take my eyes off him as he shifted into his true form. He was gorgeous.
He hopped over and nudged my face with his and I laughed. “A silly dinosaur, I see.”
He huffed out of his nose and stepped back. His arms were a lot smaller than his legs but the talons were no less sharp. He sliced over his chest and blood bloomed.
When he made a noise I walked over. He stared and I knew this was when I had to drink. I could do this.
I leaned in, inhaling the scent of earth and copper. I pressed my tongue against the wound reveling in the feel of his rough skin. The metallic taste of blood soon transformed into a delicious ambrosia and I gulped it down only stopping when he pulled away.
A moment later he was standing before me once again a man…and very naked.
“Now you rest, Jay.”
As soon as he said the words my legs gave out but he was right there to catch me as sleep claimed me.
I woke in Landry’s arms. And I was horny as predicted.
“You awake?”
“I think so. How long was I out?”
“Few hours. Here.” He moved slightly and the next thing I knew a bottle of water was in front of me. “Drink.”
I lifted up and practically chugged every drop from the bottle.
“How do you feel?”
I tossed the empty bottle in the trash beside the bed. “Horny.”
He smiled and pounced. “Let’s fix that, shall we?”
I was so hard. He hovered over me and rubbed his cock alongside mine, pulling a whimper from my mouth.
“Landry, I can’t…fuck me, please.” I spread my legs and bucked. I was desperate for him. Prep? No, I couldn’t wait.
“Okay, Jay.”
He didn’t make me wait but he was gentle. He lubed us both up and slowly entered me. Each inch was heaven and when I had all of him it was as if I could take a deep breath for the first time.
“Holy shit.”
He chuckled, pulled almost all the way out and slammed into me over and over again. I was so blissed out I swore I was floating. When my climax hit a surge of something crashed through me and I screamed in pure extasy.
“It’s complete,” Landry whispered and I looked into his kaleidoscope eyes. “You’re mine forever, Jason McPherson.”
“And you’re mine.”
It was easy after that. Landry was my partner. My parents loved him and his parents loved me. My folks would never know who Landry truly was and it was good that way. To them he was my future and they knew my heart was safe.
I learned to love the habitat and would often run around it with Landry in his dinosaur form. He was always gentle, even when he tackled me.
I had no idea what the next few hundred years had in store for me, what things I’d have to change or identities I’d need to conjure.
What I did know was Landry Astor was my present and my future and no matter what life threw at me, he’d be right there to grab it.
I might have had to go through some Jurassic measures but in the end, our love fit like a glove.
