Chapter Six

Blaze: Made it to Dallas.

German: I’m glad to hear it.

Blaze: FaceTime later?

German: I’m in.

Blaze: Damn, I fucking miss you. Tell me you’re touching yourself right now.

German: LOL! Considering I’m at the grocery store, that’d be a little awkward.

Blaze: Not to mention a little illegal.

German: That too.

Blaze: Switch to FaceTime. Let me shop with you. You feel too far away today.

German: You got it. If you have time, then I can touch myself for your amusement when I’m done here.

Blaze: I always have time for us.

German: Us? I like that.

German: It feels so weird to have stayed this long without Marc or Valon here.

Blaze: You could always join the tour too.

German: Nah. I don’t want to cramp your style. Plus, I’m still on call. If Steel needs me, I have to be ready to roll.

Blaze: Would you be more comfortable staying at my place?

German: I’m not sure that wouldn’t be worse.

Blaze: What if I was there?

German: Don’t fuck with me like that.

Blaze: I’d very much love to fuck with you. I should be home about ten. If you want to head on over, I’ll unlock the door and shut down the alarm for you from my phone.

German: Are you being serious? You’re really coming home?

Blaze: It’s only for two weeks, but yeah. I was waiting to surprise you, but I’m too excited to keep a secret.

German: Holy shit. Hell yeah. I’ll head that way now.

Blaze: I can’t wait to see you.

German: Same.

Two weeks together. Almost all of that time would be spent alone.

German couldn’t wait. He paced the floor.

German watched the garage. He couldn’t stop checking to see if Blaze had magically arrived.

German desperately hoped Blaze didn’t have some sort of security app that let him watch German prowl around the house like a trapped animal.

No doubt he looked as desperate as he was.

It had been weeks since he had last seen Blaze.

It had been the longest separation of his life.

He hadn’t known he would be so sickeningly lost without Blaze.

Maybe it was because they had just decided to be a real couple, only for Blaze to immediately return to his tour. His heart needed more.

When he heard the garage door open, German was out the door, jogging down the stairs into the garage.

Diesel stepped out. He smiled at German and winked before moving to the trunk.

German didn’t slow or offer to help get the bags.

He already stood outside the car door before Blaze climbed out of the passenger seat.

He looked even more exhausted than the last time German had seen him.

“Hey, babe. You look happy to see me. I like that.”

German chuckled. “Give me my kiss.”

Blaze’s smile was worth whatever Diesel thought about the situation. German assumed Diesel had to know.

Blaze kissed him. It wasn’t as long as his heart craved, but it didn’t take much to make German happy.

Blaze took a step back. “I’ve missed you like crazy.”

His heart was so greedy. German didn’t want to let Blaze out of sight ever again. “Yeah. It’s been hell.”

“Do you want me to drop this bag in the laundry room or your bedroom?”

Diesel’s question reminded German they weren’t alone.

Blaze took his hand and headed for the door. “Laundry room. I’m going to bed.”

Diesel chuckled. “I hear you. This is the most wiped out I’ve felt in ages. I’m crawling into bed too the moment I drop these bags.”

German had never noticed Diesel had such an innocent mind that he didn’t realize why Blaze wanted to go to bed. He was the golden retriever type, so maybe it made some sense.

“Goodnight,” Blaze and German said in unison as they made their way inside.

Blaze didn’t slow. He barreled his way into the bedroom. While German shut and locked the door behind him, Blaze fell face down on the mattress and didn’t move. Maybe German was the one who needed a cleaner mind.

A soft snore reached his ears.

German chuckled. “All right, sexy. You can’t sleep like this.”

Blaze’s eyes shot open. “I wasn’t sleeping. You deserve for me to stay awake and spend time with you. That’s what I plan to do.”

German shook his head. He had already removed Blaze’s shoes. “Don’t worry. I plan to hold you while you sleep. No feelings hurt here. Plus, I need you well-rested.”

Blaze snored again.

German snorted. He probably hadn’t heard a word German had said.

German got Blaze out of his clothes, minus the underwear.

The ease with which German had him ready for bed and beneath the covers worried him.

Blaze’s bones had a sharper edge. His arms were even more cut than before, but he looked as if he hadn’t eaten in weeks.

German needed to look into that. No doubt Diesel had all the answers he needed.

Blaze likely wouldn’t be honest about not eating.

Right now, German focused on stripping. With that out of the way, he slipped beneath the covers and hauled Blaze into his arms. There was a fullness in his chest the instant Blaze’s body collided with his.

He couldn’t let himself fall asleep yet.

German couldn’t stand not brushing his teeth before bed.

He knew Blaze felt the same. Unfortunately, Blaze needed to sleep more than anything else.

Damn. Blaze really felt amazing in his arms. Maybe he should take up Blaze’s offer to join the tour.

He could catch a flight back if Steel needed him, or he could fly to Blaze wherever his next show was once a week or something.

He didn’t know what would work best or what he could legitimately pull off.

But German knew he couldn’t stand another long stint with only FaceTime dates.

While German had no complaints about the nights they spent eating together online, or the dirty as hell shows they gave each other, it was this part.

Not being together physically hadn’t lessened the growing feelings at all.

German was all the way in this relationship.

He hated every night he fell asleep and Blaze wasn’t there.

His eyelids grew heavier. Blaze was in his arms. He could finally rest.

A familiar scent tickled his nose. He opened his eyes to find a solid chest pressed against his cheek.

Blaze smiled. He ran his hand across German’s stomach.

German sucked in his gut. Blaze couldn’t stop his chuckle.

He didn’t know if German’s reaction had been an automatic one or if he tried to make Blaze smile. Either way, he was adorable.

“How are you feeling?”

The groggy-sounding question sounded even deeper with his ear pressed against German’s chest. Blaze closed his eyes and savored the moment. “Better. Sorry I fell asleep on you. That’s not what I wanted.”

German hugged him tighter. “It’s what you needed. Plus, I kind of love taking care of you. It kind of looks like I’m the only one.”

Blaze looked up with his brow furrowed. “Where did that come from?”

He felt German shrug. “It looks like you’ve been starving yourself.”

Blaze could fall in love with this guy, if he wasn’t already there. “I don’t think you realize how many calories I burn on these tours. What I do isn’t easy.”

“I’m sure. It looks like you sweat your ass off up there… and in leather pants. Ewww.”

Laughter burst from Blaze.

German didn’t stop. “How do you even get them off afterwards? I swear I can hear the sound they must make while peeling them off. It has to sound like slrrrrrpp and then plop.”

Blaze couldn’t stop laughing. German was all smiles and ridiculous. Blaze never wanted to be anywhere else. Blaze swiped his eyes and did his best to be serious. “You should come with me and find out.”

“Okay.”

“You’ll get to… wait. Did you just say okay?”

German nodded. His smile never dimmed. “Yeah. Let’s do it.”

Blaze was on his knees in an instant. “Are you for real? You’re really going to come?” Blaze straddled German’s body.

German massaged Blaze’s hips. “Totally serious. I don’t know how long I can feasibly stay.

If Steel contacts me, I’ll have to go where I’m sent, but yeah.

” His smile faltered. “I don’t think I can go so long without you again.

That was brutal. Obviously, you’re worth it, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make us work, but I’d rather be with you. ”

“Holy shit.” Blaze was blown away. “You’re perfect.”

German shook his head. “No, I just think we can be.”

Damn. He really said and did all the right things.

Blaze had always thought relationships had to be hard.

He had always been told anything worth having was worth the fight.

Every day, German showed him there didn’t have to be a fight to begin with.

He had never dated anyone who didn’t keep him stressed out.

That was one of the biggest reasons he had stopped seeing people exclusively.

“I bet you’re always the adultiest adult in every room. You’re like the adult premium package.”

German laughed. “I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean.”

“It means you need to come shower with me.”

It seemed German didn’t need to be told twice. In a flash, German was out of bed with Blaze over his shoulder. Blaze laughed as German raced toward the bathroom.

“You know, I’ve really have to piss and your gigantic-ass shoulder is jammed against my bladder. This might not work out for you.”

German dropped him next to the toilet. “You go ahead. I’ll head to the bathroom across the hall.

” They exchanged a look and burst out laughing again.

It hit Blaze what it was about German that he withered without.

German was his best friend. He made Blaze laugh, smile, and let him be free to say anything.

Blaze was happy. It was a damn shame it had been so damn long since he felt that emotion that he hadn’t recognized what he experienced right away.

He watched German walk out the door before he got down to business.

He felt a hell of a lot better with an empty bladder.

As he put toothpaste on his toothbrush, German reappeared.

He got the shower going before joining Blaze in brushing his teeth.

Side by side, their gazes kept meeting in the mirror.

Nothing about the situation felt weird or awkward.

It felt like they went through this same routine every day together.

By the time they were nude together in the shower, Blaze’s mind was a bit of a mess.

With clarity came some confusion. How had this thing happened to him so fast?

Blaze had fucked with literally countless men. He had never felt this way.

German washed Blaze’s body. He kept his eyes locked on his hands. “I swear your thoughts are screaming at me.”

He couldn’t look away from the way German didn’t meet his stare. “What do you hear?”

German finally lifted his gaze. His heart was in his eyes. “An echo of my own thoughts. You want to know why this feels so right.”

Goddamn. He really was a mind reader. “What conclusion did you come to?”

German’s eyes never wavered from holding his stare. “That it’s a lot simpler than I’m making it. I think I met the one for me. No puzzles to solve or confusion to wade through. I love being with you and don’t want to be anywhere else. You’re just it for me. Is that too scary for you?”

“No. I think you’re right. Maybe it’s crazy, but this is the surest I’ve been about anything in a long time. You showed up just in time.”

“For what?” German whispered the question, making their conversation feel even more intimate.

“For me to be ready for you.”

German dipped his chin and swiped his lips across Blaze’s, teasing him into a kiss. “Same,” German confessed before deepening their kiss.

Blaze stroked German’s erection while their tongues played. He pulled away but kept pumping German’s cock. “We should get clean because I really want you inside me.”

Apparently, those were the right words. German didn’t waste time.

He got them both scrubbed in record time.

Considering he was extremely thorough, Blaze was impressed.

Somehow, German even had them towel-dried in what felt like seconds.

Then he was on his side in bed while German curled against his back and fingered him with lubed digits. German kissed his neck and shoulder.

Blaze gasped for air. He reached over his head, buried his fingers in German’s wet hair, and held on.

He loved the way German’s lips felt against his skin.

Blaze was in paradise. Something much larger replaced German’s fingers and Blaze pushed his ass back, trying to take more of what he wanted.

Once he took every inch, German linked fingers with him and rolled his hips, making love to Blaze.

Blaze switched between moaning and gasping for air.

Everything he possessed stayed focused on the way German made his body sing.

“Fuck, German. You make me want everything.”

“I’ve got skills and stamina. I can do that.”

Blaze moved closer to the edge. His brain and tongue lost their connection. “That’s hot, but that’s not what I meant. I want everything in life with you.”

German stopped thrusting. The air held its breath. Blaze instantly regretted getting carried away. Then German went back to rocking inside him. “Good. I want it all.”

Blaze swore the confession sent him flying. Logically, it was most likely the way German’s dick pounded him at the perfect angle. But German’s words definitely pulled Blaze’s heart into the orgasm.

“Goddamn, Blaze. That’s it. Suck me dry.

I dream about this sexy ass every second you’re gone.

” He muttered more words, but Blaze was lost in the way his body twitched.

Then German cried out. Blaze found his face buried in the mattress as German thrust hard, taking the orgasm he wanted.

All Blaze could do was moan his way through to the end.

Everything felt twice as powerful because this was real.

They had a future. Blaze couldn’t wait to see what happened next.
