Chapter 3
Three
Karla
“Karla, where do you think that you’re going?” Dad yells, standing in the hallway, glaring at me.
“I’m going to the mall,” I say, standing tall.
I refuse to show Dad how much he terrifies me. He killed my sweet mother when I was five, and he thinks that I don’t remember.
But I do.
I hate him.
Dad looks at his gold watch and presses his lips tight.
“I’m going with my friend Autumn,” I say, praying that he doesn’t fucking lock me up.
“I want you back at six for dinner,” Dad says, pointing his index finger.
“Dad, please let me stay out until eight. Autumn invited me to dinner,” I say, clenching my toes inside my boots.
“I would rather you attend dinner since we have important guests,” Dad says, waving his hand.
“Dad, let her have dinner with her friend,” Mario says, walking up to him.
Thank god that Mario tries to protect me.
“Molina, both brothers will be here soon,” Dad says, staring at me.
“Dad, they’re not the alliance that we need. They’re too weak, too small for us. I feel it’s not good to have them see Karla,” Mario says, smiling.
“Humph, si, you’re right. Karla, see if you can stay overnight with your friend. I'd rather not have you around tonight,” Dad says, nodding.
“That’s a great idea,” Mario says, nodding.
“Okay, I’ll stay with my friend,” I say, nodding. “Let me get a change of clothes.”
“I’ll drive you,” Mario says, looking at me.
“That’s a great idea,” Dad says, slapping Mario’s back.
Later.
“Oh my,” I’m starving, Autumn says, holding her shopping bags in one hand.
“Let’s get some food,” Candy says, smiling.
Candy and Poison are now Old Lady’s to the Prez and VP of the Wicked Warriors MC. Autumn's brother is the Prez, so basically, Poison and Candy are her sisters-in-law.
I look at them, and I know that most people only see what they want to see, but I see the good and bad of the lifestyle. It’s not like my lifestyle is any better; it might be worse because there is no fucking loyalty or codes.
The MC lifestyle appears to have what I want, and I’m going to see if I can find myself a good biker.
I need a strong biker who will protect me, take care of me, and love me with all of his soul.
Maybe I’m asking for too much, but I’m going by what Autumn has told me about the bikers, and she’s also looking for a good one.
“Yeah, I have three single brothers, well, two blood brothers, one is like a brother since we grew up together as the MC’s brats,” Poison says, grabbing a fry.
“Awesome, tell me about them,” Autum says.
I’m happy that Autumn is asking for some information on these Satan Warriors MC bikers since Autumn and Wynter are the Wicked Warriors MC Princesses.
These Satan Warriors MC bikers are the ones that we would love to meet.
“I can say that my brothers are amazing,” Candy says, grabbing her cell phone. “Look, they’re so fucking cute.”
Candy hands her cell phone to Autumn, and I look over her shoulder.
“That one is Fiend, tall, and he has green eyes,” Candy hums, taking a drink of Coke.
“Oh yeah, he’s so damn hot,” Autumn hums, nodding. “Fiend, did he get the road name because he’s so damn sexy, naughty, and hot?”
“Yeah, right. Fiend is just as mean and evil as he is nice and cute. Don’t let that sexy face fool you, he’s fucking dangerous as all of the motherfucker bikers,” Poison says, rolling her eyes.
“Yeah, I hear you,” Autumn says, nodding.
“The next one is Shade, he’s the MC’s Secretary, has blue eyes, and strawberry blonde hair,” Poison says, looking at the cell from the side.
“Nice,” we say, nodding.
But not really feeling them.
Fuck!
I want a biker because maybe I can become their girl. Dad will never locate me at the clubhouse.
Autumn slides to the next one, and I stare at that one.
Now, oh my.
He’s so damn hot.
I stare at him, biting my lower lip.
“That’s Killer,” Poison says.
“Wow. Tell us why Killer got that road name,” Autumn asks, raising her brow.
I’m glad that Autumn is asking because I want to get to know Killer.
We look at the sisters Poison and Candy, who are now Old Ladies in the Wicked Warriors MC, but they’re the Satan Warriors MC Princesses.
It all sounds amazing and exciting, more like a huge family versus the cutthroat lifestyle of the Cartel.
I don’t know much more, but I’m going to make it my business to learn all about the MC lifestyle.
“Well, as you know, Autumn, the two MCs have had their issues in the past,” Candy whispers, leaning closer.
It seems like she’s trying to tread with caution.
“The point is that when it all went down, the Prez, our Dad, was killed, and Mom disappeared. My Brothers are the ones who stepped up and took care of Candy and me. That same night, after the tragic death of Dad, two of the older MC Brothers tried to rape me and Candy,” Poison says, pressing her lips tight.
“Fiend and Killer killed the fuckers. So, that’s the main reason for their road names. They were Prospects, but that same week Demon patched them in to make the MC strong with the blood Brothers, hence their road name,” Candy says, leaning her arms on the table.
“Yeah, we’re damn lucky that none of the Brothers touched us,” Poison says, chewing her lip. My Brothers, Fiend, Shade, and Killer, are always looking out for us. Demon and Diablo are busy with the MC.”
My heart pounds fast in my heart, and I can feel the connection, the fear of getting abused.
“I would love to meet your brother, Killer,” I say, feeling the blush spread through my face.
“Girl, he’s a good one. He’s the MC’s Enforcer, loyal, heart of gold,” Poison says, smiling.
Ah, he’s an Enforcer. I know what an Enforcer does. My Dad has Enforcers in the Cartel.
Yes, I hope I like Killer because it sounds like the type of man I need. Maybe he’ll like me.
“Cool,” I say, smiling.
“Yeah, you’re going to meet them tomorrow when they bring our stuff over,” Candy says, nodding.
“Yes, you’re going to like him. He’s a lot quieter, not shy but reserved. He’s loyal and sweet,” Poison says, smiling.
“They’re all cute, but I like Fiend,” Autumn bounces on her chair. “I’m glad that you’re making dibs on Killer.”
“Okay, I can’t wait to meet Killer. Since we’re still here, I need to buy more stuff,” I say, looking at Autumn. “Could you please keep them for me?”
“Yeah, I can do that,” Autumn says, nodding.
“Thank you,” I say, nodding, releasing a deep breath.
Now I need to get a few burner cell phones, more clothes, and shoes. I want to be able to run without worrying about what I need to take.
I’m so happy that Autumn is helping me out.
