Chapter 10 #2
What the fuck does that mean?
“Little Rabbit.” Will’s voice has Julia’s eyes snapping up. His large hand grips my shoulder. “You ready to go home?”
“Yup.” I get to my feet and wrap my arms around his waist. Will looks down at me with surprise, but a small smile on the corner of his lips lifts.
I can see Julia staring daggers at me out of the corner of my eye.
Will grips my chin and tilts my head back to give me a firm, heated kiss that has my head spinning and, yup, my pussy weeping. Hope you can smell that, bitch.
When we pull apart, Will looks over at Julia, eyes hard. “Don’t fight Nova when it comes to Rica. You’re lucky I don’t just take her home with me and kick you out on your ass. The only reason I’m not is because Kane is demanding I give you a chance. Don’t fuck it up.”
“She’s my daughter, Will.” Julia gets to her feet. “You can’t do that.”
“I can do whatever the fuck I want,” Will growls. “And you better fucking remember it.”
Julia has the nerve to look hurt. “Why are you like this?” Her lower lip trembles. Is this fucking Omega for real right now? “Why are you being so cruel? You never used to be this way.”
“I grew up. Something you never seem to have done. Real life is rough, Julia. Get the fuck over yourself.”
Will pulls me away. And just to be petty, I grin at her pissed off face and wink.
She wants my men. I can see it in her eyes. And I’d probably be more pissed about it if the guys didn’t look at her like she was scum under their shoes. But something tells me she’s not done. Not by a long shot.
Bring it, bitch. I’ll be ready.

“I’m so tired,” I groan, throwing myself dramatically on the couch.
“Have you eaten?” Nick asks, heading for the kitchen.
“Nah. Been too busy,” I say sleepily.
He grunts, rummaging through the fridge.
The sound of scampering and shouting has me sitting up. “Fucking hell!” Ian growls. “She bit me!”
“Who?” I ask as he stomps down the stairs.
“Petunia,” Ian growls, holding her out in front of him like she’s a football.
I get to my feet and make my way over to them. “That's not nice,” I pout, baby-talking her. She hisses at me, and I swear I can see her plotting my death in those beady little eyes. She just needs more time. She will learn to love me.
I take Petunia from Ian and hold her to my chest. “How's my sweet girl?” I coo. “Did you have fun with Duchess?”
Petunia hisses and Ian takes her from me. “Leave her with Nick,” Ian says, handing her over to the scowling Alpha. “I’ll run you a bath.”
“No. You will not leave her with me,” Nick growls, placing Petunia on the ground. “I want nothing to do with the little rat.”
Rolling my lips together, I try to stop the smile that’s forming on my lips as I watch Petunia latch herself to Nick’s leg like it’s a tree branch.
“Get off me,” he growls, shaking his leg.
“Be careful!” I warn. “Don’t you hurt her.”
Nick shoots me a glare. “This is your fault, woman!” He points at me. “You had to bring this thing here.”
“She is your daughter. Don’t talk about her like that,” I huff.
His eyes widen. “Excuse me?”
Petunia starts to climb up Nick’s leg, onto his back and then his shoulder where she curls around his neck, burying her face into his hair.
“Awe, she’s a daddy’s girl,” I coo, moving over to Petunia to pet her back. She hisses but it’s not as violent as it normally is.
“Why?” Nick glares down at me.
“Why what?” I ask, cocking my head to the side.
“Why did I end up with the fucking crazy one?” he growls.
I smile, leaning up on my tiptoes and press a kiss to his stubbled jaw. “Because the universe knew you would get bored with any other Omega. I keep you on your toes, Daddy.” I wink, walking away as Nick’s low rumbling growl goes right to my clit.
Leaving Nick with Petunia, I head upstairs to the sound of running water. Ian is humming in the bathroom and I can’t help but smile.
I look around the room, wrapping my arms around myself as a moment of reality hits me.
This is my new life. I don’t have to work my ass off for little to no money. I don’t have to take care of someone who doesn’t appreciate me. No more working with pig Alphas who think they can do whatever the fuck they want.
Tears sting the back of my eyes. I’ve never thought this would be how my life ended up.
I always expected to settle, to be grateful that I had a job, a roof over my head, and a man to help me through my heat.
It wasn’t until I met these guys that I realized I wasn’t living, I was surviving. There’s a difference.
“Hey,” Ian’s voice has me spinning around.
“Hey,” I say softly.
“You okay?” Ian asks, stepping over to me. He runs his hands up and down my arms, looking down at me with concern.
“Yeah.” I smile up at him, nodding. “Just tired.”
“Come on.” He kisses my forehead, and it takes everything in me not to cry at how tender he is with me. I don’t deserve him, and I feel like shit for even thinking about rejecting him back when we first met.
It’s only been a few weeks, but I can’t imagine a life without him.
Without all three of them, if I’m being honest with myself.
Ian helps me out of my clothes, kissing me gently all over. This time, I don’t get turned on. There’s a heavy feeling that takes over me. A good one, as I enjoy every touch of his.
I believed all the people who told me I was lucky to have what I did, and that I shouldn't expect more.
Ian’s sheer love for me proves I was settling. I do deserve more. I deserve him, all of them. Fuck. I’m so screwed, but it could be worse. Time to embrace this life because I’m not going anywhere.
My bath is relaxing. Ian stays with me, humming softly as I relax. He watches me the whole time, and it takes everything in me not to break down in tears.
Once I’m done, he dries me off and dresses me in his clothes. My stomach growls, and Ian chuckles.
“Let’s go get you something to eat.” Ian scoops me up, and I laugh.
“I can walk, you know.”
“Yeah?” He winks. “But I like this better.”
When we get down to the kitchen, my stomach growls again when I smell something amazing.
“What's this?” I ask, confused. The table is set up for four people, bowls filled with what looks like spaghetti.
“It’s all I could make on short notice. We need to go shopping,” Nick grunts. “Sit.” He nods towards the table. Will appears a moment later, smelling like motor oil.
“Let me wash up,” he says, dipping into the downstairs bathroom.
Ian pulls my chair out for me.
“Thanks,” I laugh, taking a seat. He kisses the top of my head before taking the spot to my left.
“This looks amazing,” I moan as the smell hits me again.
“Here.” Nick places something down on the table next to me. My mouth waters at the sight of the garlic bread, the melted cheese dripping off the sides.
The other two take their seats and start to eat.
My brows furrow when I see none of them have garlic bread.
“Where’s the rest?” I ask, pointing to the bread.
“That’s all there was,” Nick grumbles.
Ian and Will give each other a surprised look. I feel like I’m missing something.
“Aaaand you gave it to me?” I ask, blinking.
Nick shrugs. “You said you didn’t eat all day. You need it more.”
Fuck. Nope. No, Nova. It's only food. Nothing to cry over. He’s still a big, brooding asshole.
But he’s my asshole. Damn it!
“Thanks,” I whisper. Nick grunts before turning to Will to talk business.
Smiling down at my plate, I twirl the spaghetti around my fork, trying not to read into it too much despite the butterflies in my stomach.
He made sure I was fed over all of them. He put me first.
I’ve never had that.
I don’t want to get used to it because it seems too good to be true. But damn, if it doesn’t feel fucking amazing.
I look around the table, my Alphas chatting away, Petunia still on Nick’s shoulders.
This is my new life and it’s already far better than I ever could have dreamed. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
