Chapter 29 Walker #2
With a nod, Knox climbs up and in. The jets are bubbling, roiling the water as steam curls into the tempered privacy panels.
The warm white light casts a soft glow over the water, and I press a button, changing the hot tub’s light from that same warm white to a soothing blue.
“Your place is fancy,” Lia mutters.
I chuckle as I get myself into the hot tub. “I do enjoy the finer things, yes.”
I hate that I even have to keep my cell phone close. I slide it into a waterproofed cover I keep stored along the edge of the hot tub.
If work beckons, I have to answer, and this gives me that capability without pulling me out of the hot tub. But if I can put the work off at all, I will.
I’d do anything for my Lia.
“How you feeling, Alley Cat?” Eli asks as he holds her against him.
“This is so good, thank you,” Lia whispers as she lays her head on his shoulder.
“If you need anything, let us know,” Knox says as he settles beside me.
I watch Eli while he watches her. There’s so much passing behind his eyes. I need to check in with him later. Make sure he’s good.
This is almost certainly kicking up memories of his time with Amber’s mother, and I know in my own way that grief can be a bitch, even during the best of times.
Until the familiar buzzing of my cell phone catches my attention.
“Need to go?” Knox asks.
Lia whimpers out a heartbroken sound.
“Not if I can solve it over the phone. Hold on,” I say as I shake my hands off and reach for my phone.
Only to see that it’s not work calling at all.
It’s my mother.
And if I don’t answer, she’ll just keep calling until I do.
“I’ll make this quick,” I say as I answer the phone.
“Sweetheart!” she exclaims as wind rushes in the background. “How are you?”
“Mom,” I say as I peer around at everyone in the hot tub. “Is everything all right?”
“Of course everything’s all right. I just wanted to call. See how you were.”
“How’s the vineyard?” Dad exclaims in the background.
“Put me on speaker, Mom,” I say as I pinch the bridge of my nose.
“Can’t! We’re riding!”
It takes me a second to put together what she’s talking about. “You and Dad rented a motorcycle?”
“Woooohoo!” Dad yelps as wind continues rushing through the phone. “This is the life.”
I tilt my head toward the ceiling and sigh. “Vineyard’s good. I’m good. You guys good?”
“Always so grumpy,” Mom says in a voice that’s a little too loud. “We wanted to let you know that we’re heading from Charleston to Myrtle for the next couple of weeks. We won’t be back when we planned.”
That makes me grin. “Good. I’m glad you’re finally enjoying retirement. Are you two wearing helmets?”
“What are we, twelve?” Mom asks. “Of course we’re wearing helmets.”
A horn honks in the background and I snicker. “Tell Dad to stay in the lane if he’s going to be driving.”
Mom barks with uninhibited laughter. “I maybe shouldn’t have worn one of my dresses. I think I’m giving everyone a show.”
I groan. “Mom.”
“Anyway!” she chirps. “Just wanted to let you know about our altered plans. We’ll let you know when we’re on our way home.”
“You two stay safe, all right?”
“Oh! Your father wants to ask you something, hold on.”
The sounds of the wind die down before my father’s voice becomes clearer. “You kissed that Omega we met yet?”
I rub my hand down my face. “You two have fun. Goodbye.”
“Give her a kiss for your mother if you haven’t already!” Mom says in the background.
I knew they’d find a way to hassle me. They always do. “Love you guys.”
“I want grandbabies!” Mom exclaims.
“Goodbye. I’m hanging up now.”
“Love you, son,” Dad says. “And Walker?”
My gaze gravitates to Lia. “Yeah, Dad?”
“You deserve happiness, too. I hope you know that.”
My gaze lingers on her. I nod. “I know.”
“Good. We’ll be in Myrtle for eleven days. I’ll send you the hotel we’ll be at.”
“Stay safe on that bike.”
He chuckles. “Never. I haven’t felt this alive in years.”
That makes me smile. “Let me know when you get to the hotel safely.”
“Will do. Talk soon.”
“Talk soon.”
“Love you!” Mom says in the background.
I chuckle. “Love you too, Mom.”
“Awww,” Lia croaks out.
“What was that?” Mom asks quickly.
“Gotta go, bye!”
I hang up the phone before they can ask any more questions and Knox chuckles. Even Eli is shooting a smirk in my direction as I set my phone back down.
“Parents, am I right?” I ask.
“Yep,” Eli says.
“I wouldn’t know,” Knox and Lia say.
“Well, you will,” I say with a grin as I look over at Knox.
He’s beaming from ear to ear. “I look forward to it.”
“Oooh,” Lia moans.
That snaps my attention to her, and I see that one of her hands has disappeared beneath the water. Eli’s nose slides along her temple, his lips moving even though our ears aren’t privy to what he’s saying.
Lia’s eyes roll back. The water around her ripples as she bucks her hips beneath the bubbles. My cock stiffens at the sight.
I know exactly what she needs.
“Hands up,” I say.
Lia’s half-hooded eyes slide in my direction. “Wha?”
The lazy syllable makes me stand in the hot tub. “Hands up and on the edge of the hot tub. Eli, you’ve got your back to a jet, yes?”
He nods. “It’s beating against my lower back.”
A smirk crawls across my face. “Move Lia so she’s bent over the edge.”
Eli’s brow furrows. “Won’t that be hard on her knees? This seat isn’t exactly cushioned.”
“Oh, fuck yeah,” Knox says as he moves through the water, his hands outstretched to help Lia move. “Come here, Sunshine. Let’s get you situated.”
“Legs straddled where Eli is sitting. She can perch on her knees,” I command.
“I’m comfyyyy,” Lia whines.
I grab one of the towels and fold it up. I hand it to Knox, who shoves it beneath the water. Eli moves out of the way, watching how Knox moves Lia’s body. When it clicks as to what’s happening, he looks over at me with a grin.
And I smirk right back at him.
“Oh, fuck!” she cries out when Knox gets her into position.
“Just like that, Sunshine,” he says as he kisses her shoulder. “Feels good, doesn’t it?”
“Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck,” she groans.
Heat blooms in my gut as I move behind her. I hunch over her, crowding her curvy body as she bucks against the hot stream of water. My hand rushes up her back, tracing every curve and divot she has while her body shivers for my viewing pleasure.
It’s effortless, how she falls over the edge for her first orgasm.
“Yes! Oh, fuck! Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.”
The bubbles of the hot tub pop, sending her scent wafting through the air. My nose buries into the crook of her neck, my tongue playing against her scent gland. She rewards me with a spurt of her scent directly into my face.
It’s like a drug mainlined into an IV, and my caged Alpha rattles around inside my body.
“You like that?” I murmur against the nape of her neck.
“Gotta move,” she whispers breathlessly. “It’s… it’s too much. It’s… I’m so… Walker, please.”
“Eli, grab her hair,” I say.
He threads his fingers into her locks and pulls her head up a bit.
“Now, give her a kiss,” I say as my fingers slide down her back.
I hear her moan when their lips connect. “Knox.”
His gaze is trained on her. “I want my fingers stuffing her full.”
My chuckle is dark. “Fine by me. But she doesn’t move from this spot until she’s had at least three orgasms.”
She gasps against Eli’s mouth, but his tongue invades her and she melts against the edge of the tub. Her back, glistening with the water as she bucks against the jet. Knox’s hand disappears beneath the water, bumping against my thigh on the journey toward hers.
“Oh, holy shit,” she moans against Eli’s lips when Knox finds what he wants.
“You’ll give us three more before we let you out of this tub,” I murmur as I hunch my body over hers, cloaking her in my shadow like the good Omega she is, “one for each of us. And then, if you’re a good Omega, we’ll give you a nice full-body massage. Help relax you into a nice nap.”
Knox’s lips find the shell of her ear. “I think you can handle another finger, yes?”
“Yes,” Lia groans. “Oh, god. Yes, please. Please. Please.”
And my fingers begin tracing the puckered hole of her ass.
