Chapter 25
Chapter Twenty-Five
Two months later
Wilder
“There are too many people in our house,” Marie grumbles, burying her face in my chest. I’m in the living room hiding with her as the last of the renovations are completed in the house and the contractors leave.
At least they’re the last for now. We’re going to give Marie a break before we start in the basement. Our omega will combust if we do it anytime soon. She’s very territorial lately about her space, especially how things smell, and where things are placed.
Everything took longer than expected with this renovation, from supply issues to having to fix the insulation in the loft to keep the draft out.
We also decided to put in some pretty stained glass when we added a window up there.
The other windows don’t open completely, and this allows us to get airflow in when she needs to expel “wrong” scents from her nest.
I hope Marie will be happy with how it looks, and the backyard is also complete. Ransom, Lore, and I worked to ensure my vision came true, while Storm forged our permits and pushed them through.
Ain’t nobody got time for the red tape in this city.
I can’t wait to show it all to her, despite the hoops we’ve had to jump through, and how many times Ransom almost had a medical incident with a power tool.
It’s a miracle he kept all his fingers.
Her body feels warm as she snuggles in my lap, and it makes me wonder if she’s going to go into heat soon. She’s been stealing our clothes often, but Lore has also been doing his best to knock her up. None of us can stop touching her, and I’m pretty sure we’ve christened every surface possible.
This morning, before the workers came over, the four of us fed Marie breakfast and our cum in all of her holes. I spent my knot across her breasts, pulling out of her cunt at the last second.
Marie’s cheeks are slightly flushed as she listens to everyone make their way to the front door, but she doesn’t seem uncomfortable.
“Hey, baby,” I murmur, rubbing her back slowly. “How are you feeling?”
“Kind of sleepy,” she says honestly, yawning.
“Lore, Ransom, and Storm are going to clean up your nest and make sure everything is where it needs to be,” I explain. “Want to be my backpack, and I’ll carry you upstairs to see it?”
“Can I get a nap in my new nest too?” she asks. “I want you all in there with me. The smells are going to be all off with everyone that’s been walking in and out of there.”
“Lore is going to run the air purifier and open the new window to get all of those smells out of there,” I explain. “It’ll be a clean slate. No one will go inside your nest without your permission.”
“I feel like I’m being a brat,” she pouts. “Everyone has been so helpful working on my nest, while I’m worried about the scents being off.”
“No one thinks that,” I chuckle. God, she’s adorable. “You’re allowed to have your home smell the way you want it to. I know everyone tromping in and out has been stressing you out.”
Marie is working the minimum amount of hours possible to keep her job, and it’s always involved a phone call from Adrain.
The last two months have kept her busy, but she’s not working anywhere near what she was before.
She also mentioned something about continued education hours, and she’s been able to complete those online.
When she’s not working, one of us takes her out on a date with Lore in tow. We’re so used to it now, we barely bat an eye at it.
“It can get really loud when they’re here,” she admits.
Our solution has been to distract her upstairs on the roof. Lore and her have decorated the area with potted plants that will survive the fall and winter, hardy furniture that’ll do well in all weather, and Edison lights strung from the covered pavilion we had installed.
These are just a few additions that will let us use the space year round.
I put in heaters on the roof and in the backyard so Marie will be warm enough if she wants to hang outside.
All of this work has been helping our travel bug, and we’re in the middle of closing on our clubhouse, which is a ranch house on four acre.
It’s finally all coming into place, though I’m still the acting president for now. Ugh. The title feels wrong to me, and it always will.
“Wilder,” Lore murmurs, popping his head into the living room. “Don’t fall asleep. We’re ready.”
I didn’t realize it, but my eyes have been closing. I’m surrounded by Marie’s familiar scent, though there’s something a little different about it today. I doubt it’s because she’s bonded to Ransom and Lore, I’m used to that.
I don’t want to ask her about it, but it’s lulling me to sleep somehow.
“Hmm,” I say, yawning as I sit up. “Marie wants to take a nap in her nest with us all.”
“Just Marie wants this, huh?” Lore asks, smirking.
“You left me alone with my omega. She’s very comfy.”
Somehow, I ended up laying down with her while we waited with my head cushioned by her breasts.
“I wasn’t going to complain,” she says, shrugging as she stands up. “I didn’t know how much longer you’d be.”
“Up you go, baby,” I say, dropping into a deep squat in front of her.
Marie climbs onto my back, wrapping her arms and legs around me.
“Ransom is going to pick on you for avoiding your squats,” Lore teases me.
I don’t know anyone who enjoys going on runs and hitting the weights the way Ransom does.
He just zones out during it, and afterward he’s in the best mood.
I guess the endorphin myth after working out is true.
I think it’s bullshit. I’ll exercise because I have to, and the last couple of months my time has been filled with building things for the backyard.
Our bedroom now has a balcony that sits over the kitchen and back door to provide us with a porch, and it also keeps the rain and snow off the bed swing Ransom and I hooked up out there.
It’s only part of all the work done in our yard, and I’m really fucking proud of it. We’re creating spaces we can use year round so we won’t be stuck in the house during the winter months. It’ll hopefully help with our wanderlust.
Standing, I trust that Marie won’t fall off as I walk. Lore still walks behind us as I climb the stairs all the way to the loft. My heart is beating a little harder, but I’m doing pretty well after the three flights of stairs.
Take that, Ransom!
“You’re so cute,” Storm grins, watching as Marie slides down my back to look around her nest. He’s standing just outside with Ransom on the stairs, waiting for her to invite him in. “What do you think?”
Marie walks slowly around the room, and I frown as tears slide down her cheeks. I glance worriedly at Lore and he shakes his head slightly, not taking his eyes off her.
The nest has the mattress in the recessed bed frame that she wanted, the pretty draped curtains for the bed, and the black out curtains now hanging open on the windows.
I learned how to put up the wallpaper once the bathroom plumbing and tile was in, and I cursed a blue streak during it until I got the hang of it.
We have had a part in creating every piece of her vision, and now she’s finally seeing it completed. There’s even a sex swing that can just be used for days when she needs the world to disappear.
“It’s so pretty,” she whispers. “It’s like night and day from when I first saw it. I love it so much!”
The wall ensconces that we added can be kept low when it’s nighttime, but the room is large enough that it needed the extra light.
Basically, anything she said she wanted at the nest store, we recreated out of her mind. Marie’s never had a true nest before, and we’re happy to give her the only nest she’ll ever need or want. As soon as she was given the ability to design whatever she wanted, her mind went wild with ideas.
I’m glad we delivered to the standards she wanted. It’s all we could ever hope for.
“You deserve it all, Sugar,” Ransom says, his voice full of emotions as he watches her.
“Do you need to study?” she asks Ransom, pulling her clothes off to crawl into the bed. I pull off my sweatshirt and she makes grabby hands for it, making me grin as I toss it to her. “I want snuggles.”
Ransom has been taking night classes for his EMS training, and he’s a month and a half in. He’ll need to do clinical experience toward the end of his six month course, which means he’ll be home less during it. Marie has been very supportive, and even helps him with his classwork sometimes.
Ransom is adamant about having as much training as possible so he’ll have it when he begins to go on runs with the club.
Wrecks on the bikes, skirmishes with other outlaw clubs, etc.
are common while on the road. None of that is out of the ordinary, and even though Ransom doesn’t love having to leave Marie, he knows that the club may need a medic.
Things have been pretty quiet, but I know that can change on a dime.
“Not right now,” he murmurs, stripping to his boxers to follow her into bed.
Lore chuckles under his breath as he does the same, fully enjoying that we’re wrapped around her finger.
“I’d much rather be here,” Ransom says, curling up behind her to be the big spoon.
It looks like it’s going to be a puppy pile kind of day in bed. Marie is covered with my sweatshirt, her bare legs tangling with Ransom’s.
“You’re all so needy,” I murmur, crawling onto the bed.
Storm nudges Marie until she flops onto her back so he can lay his head on her stomach, and Ransom merely smirks in amusement. It gives Lore the ability to alternate between playing with Storm’s hair and sliding under my sweatshirt to grope Marie’s tit with a very smug smile.
Honestly, it’s a normal pack day for us as we quietly celebrate presenting our omega with her nest.
“Lore, back up before we end up fucking instead of napping,” Marie says, pushing on our alpha’s shoulder.
“I was planning to get into something more comfortable. What’s better than being inside of you?” he shrugs with a sexy chuckle.
