Valentine’s Day
VALENTINES DAY
HARPER
Walking across campus, I’m surrounded by Dustin, Sawyer, Thatcher, and Archer.
The Wolves.
My alphas.
The bites on my neck are exposed for everyone to see. I don’t bother hiding them.
I didn’t like being used as bait, but it was necessary to draw their fathers out into the open.
Once we were bonded, my alphas were able to find me quickly.
Jamie helped too. He tracked Rick from the moment Dustin broke his arm and uncovered the truth.
Rick had been working for Mr. Montclair all along.
Now there’s nothing left of Sawyer’s mansion but a smoking crater. My alphas handled it themselves, setting the explosives and ending their fathers’ reign once and for all.
“This evening we’ll take you out for a special Valentines Day dinner at your favorite place near your parents’ house,” Dustin says.
I kiss him softly. “I can’t wait.”
Then I kiss Sawyer, Thatcher, and Archer, one after the other.
“See you later,” I tell them as I head toward the one class I share with my new friend Chavelle.
My grandmother, the diva, was never sick. She pretended so I would come home and finally face what I’d been running from. I love her for it. She’s the absolute best.
I’m glad I came back to Greywood.
My home.
My pack.
They love me fiercely, and I love them just as deeply. Together we are strong. Together we are whole.
And I can’t wait to build a family with them.
