CHAPTER FIVE #2

I pictured one taking me from behind as the other fucked my mouth, spilling down my throat, cum leaking from my pussy and the corners of my lips. My thoughts caused more slick to trickle down my thighs.

My alphas’ roars filled the night. They could smell my arousal. Smell how wet I was for them. My scent spiked. Now, even the act of running was turning me on. Every footfall sent delicious vibrations across my body.

Suddenly, my shirt felt wrong. Too tight. Too heavy. The silk clung to my damp skin, trapping the heat instead of releasing it. Every brush of fabric across my nipples made me groan. I needed it off me. Needed to be free.

I didn’t think. I just grabbed the front of the shirt with both hands and pulled. Buttons popped and scattered onto the snow. I yanked the shirt off and threw it aside without breaking stride.

The cold night air crashed against my bare skin, and I inhaled deeply. Momentary relief swept through me. My breasts bounced with each step as I ran, every footfall sending another pulse of sensation through me.

The cold felt good against my overheated body. But it wasn’t enough. What I wanted wasn’t fresh air. I wanted them. I wanted their breath against my heated skin. Their touch on my sensitive flesh.

I imagined Moon’s mouth at my throat, Ryung’s hands spanning my waist. I imagined them behind me, in front of me, beside me, surrounding me. Envisioned their breath warm against my breasts, my collarbone, my shoulder.

Then lower, fanning across my belly, down to my clit. My omega purred at the thought, pushing me to stop so they could do just that. I forced myself to keep running. Each step made me more aware of the changes coming over me.

Of the slick gathering between my thighs, trickling down my legs. So much slick, and no one there to claim it. I was acutely aware of how their scents were growing stronger. They were closing in.

That was exactly what I wanted them to do. I was no longer running to escape them. I was making them earn me, forcing them to work for their prize. I was allowing them to hunt me. I wasn’t their prey anymore. I was their reward.

They just didn’t know it yet.

I could hear them racing through the forest after me. I laughed loudly, the sound echoing through the night. Other than woodland creatures, there were only us in the Frozen Forest. No one dared venture into Prince Moon and Royal Guard Ryung’s territory.

Other than me, of course. I was a rebel who feared nothing and no one. I was also a mate who’d wronged her alphas. So what, if they were potentially insane murderers who tortured their victims?

I’d just have to teach them to be better. Teach them to torture only bad people, not the good ones. I was okay with Ryung putting his enemies’ heads on spikes. As long as they’d done something deserving of that.

Likewise, I was okay with Moon ripping out the insides of his enemies, as long as that was the only way to keep them from doing evil things. No one was perfect. Especially not me. So how could I expect perfection from my alphas?

It was crazy that just minutes ago, I still had the intention of ending them forever. And now, I was trying to think of ways to make them get over my teeny tiny assassination attempt. Maybe I could get them to focus their attention on our new common enemy.

The Silent Hex Organization.

I didn’t know what the Silent Hex had against my alphas, but they were going to pay for sending me after them. Before I made them pay, I had to pay for what I’d done. I wasn’t too stubborn to admit when I was wrong. I wasn’t afraid to apologize.

Wait.

Had I ever apologized to anyone before?

I didn’t think so. There was a first time for everything. My gaze narrowed on the clearing up ahead. A smile curved across my face. These sneaky alphas had led me right back to the place where we’d first met earlier tonight.

Awww. How sweet!

We’d come full circle.

They would be on me in less than a minute. It was time to end this hunt. I slowed to a stop right under the tree I’d been perched on earlier, awaiting them so I could take them out. Now, I stood beneath that same tree, as naked as they had been, waiting for them for an entirely different reason.

Should I just stand here looking cute? Or should I pose? I could lean against the tree with my hand on my hip. Or I could lie down in the snow on my side with my hand on my thigh. Hmmm....

I remained standing and stuck my hip out, hand going to my waist. I plastered a smile on my face as their snarls grew closer. Okay, I didn’t like this pose. Maybe I should... I tensed when their scents began to change, the wild animal quality leaving them.

Well, it was leaving Ryung. He no longer smelled as wild as before. Yet, Moon still had a feral edge to his mint fragrance. They had to be shifting back into their skin forms. Closing my eyes, I stood there and listened.

They were no longer running on all fours. Ryung was sprinting toward me. Almost here. As for Moon...

I gasped, eyes snapping open in time to see Prince Moon, in his skin form, running toward me at full speed. I stood there, frozen in place, eyes wide as I met the intense gaze of my beast. His pupils were blown, his silver eyes practically glowing now.

He was beautiful.

But if he didn’t slow down, he was going to collide with me.

And collide, we did.

My silly ass was too mesmerized by him to get out of the way when he lunged for me. I tensed, body preparing to hit the ground. However, Moon turned us, landing on his back with me on top of him, my alpha taking the brunt of the fall.

Before I had a chance to catch my breath, he was flipping us. The side of my face met the cold snow, nipples pressed against the ground as he pinned me down. It was official. I’d been captured by my wolf mates.
