brOTHERLY ADVICE
Z enith paced for a long time in his apartment, torn between following his instincts, and his brain.
He had a book to finish.
He had a hoard to amass.
And yet he’d stayed up half the night listening to Emre trying to pleasure himself, his thoughts tumbling through all that Emre had shared with him over dinner.
Emre was dark-haired, with pretty blue eyes and full lips that Zenith wanted to taste.
He was noticeably pregnant.
He was an omega wolf, and omega wolves relied on their pack to feel safe.
More importantly, they needed an alpha to provide, especially when they had pups to care for.
Emre had neither.
What he did have, were several silvery scars all over his body.
Zenith clenched his fists.
When he’d arrived at Emre’s apartment with dinner, the sight of Emre’s scars had nearly sent him into a rage.
It had taken all his self-control to force his anger down; he suspected that Emre didn’t do well with angry alphas, even if their fury wasn’t directed at him.
Who had hurt that omega?
Zenith could guess.
Emre’s pulse had spiked this morning when Zenith stopped outside his apartment with breakfast.
It was only after Zenith had identified himself, that Emre calmed down.
Was Emre’s abuser still out there?
How was he going to find out, without sending Emre into a panic attack?
He mulled over several ideas for a while.
Then he listened to Emre’s breathing patterns to make sure he was sleeping, before calling one of his older brothers.
Ace answered in two rings.
“Heyyy, Lil Sunshine.”
Zenith growled.
“Don’t call me that. It makes me sound like a puppy.”
“Don’t be silly. It makes you sound like a baby reptile.” Ace guffawed, then grew serious.
“What’s up? You don’t call unless it’s important.”
“I... I might’ve found someone,” Zenith said.
“But I don’t feel prepared. My hoard’s not big enough.”
Ace sighed.
“Sunshine. Hoards will never feel like they’re enough. There are always more treasures waiting to be collected.”
“But mine’s nowhere near as big as yours?—”
Ace coughed.
“—when you met your mate.”
“First off, yours is definitely big enough.” Ace snickered.
“Second, does your mate need you now, instead of in fifty years?”
Zenith blinked.
“He isn’t my mate! But... yeah. Yeah, he needs help now.”
He couldn’t imagine not helping Emre for even two days.
Emre had a pup who needed to be fed and cared for, and in a few short months, he’d have two pups.
There was no way the man could find a job and care for his pups at the same time, without a support network.
“Then you have your answer.” Ace paused.
“What species is he?”
“Wolf.”
“Ahhh.” Ace sounded like he was grinning.
“Make sure to really get your cum all over his skin. Rub it in. They like smelling as though they’ve been claimed. Necks are one of their most vulnerable places, too. You can do a lot with that.”
Zenith was rock-hard even before Ace ended the call.
His hands were shaking when he typed a message to his butler.
Hey, could you make a copy of the apartment key?
Huxton
Aye aye, captain!
Maybe the mansion keys, too.
Huxton
Ohh?
?
?
Put them on a full moon key ring.
Huxton
O M G did you acquire a mate since the last time we spoke!
?
Not yet, but I’m going to court him
Huxton
Omg!

You should read the book of pickup lines I gave you
699 Pickup Lines For Your Wriggly Heart Muffin
by Dicky Mems
Isn’t that the book with the terrible pickup lines?
Huxton
You will thank me
Your balls will thank me too
Here, let me send you a few pages to tide you over

I recommend this one:
When the moon rises, my pulsing love rod will rise with it, eager to demonstrate the thickness of my love.
It will bless you with the throb of my heart as it enters your body, painting the walls of your cave with the timeless hieroglyphs of my baby batter.
Um.
.
.
Let me think about it.
Huxton
Think about it with your mouth.
Push it out with your tongue.
Zenith stared at the text and hurriedly set his phone down.
Two apartments away, he heard the slow shuffle of Emre waking up, and Abbie babbling softly.
They sounded so vulnerable that Zenith’s instincts ached to protect all of them—Emre, his pup, and his unborn child.
How soon until he could go over again?
Zenith opened his laptop and tried futilely to write.
