{Third person's pov}

Kiara woke up early in the morning just to find him sleep, she smiled. Finally, his insomnia was healing. She carefully stepped out of the bed and went to take bath.

She came out wearing a saree and a few jwelleries, Ekansh who was now awake stared at her, she smiled at him and said, "Good morning husband."

Shray got up and walked towards her, he hugged her from behind and looked at their reflection, "morning."

"We are going back today," he informed her making her frown, "Already?"

"Yeah, got a call from the office, one of the most desired business partners is coming tomorrow, I can't let this deal slip from my hands." He explained.

Kiara Nodded understandingly, but she was liking this place... She was liking Nani.

"But we will pick Rookie on our way?" She asked, He smiled at her obvious concern for Rookie. "Of course," he reassured her. "Can't forget about the little guy."

He couldn't help but admire the way she looked in a saree. The way the fabric clung to her curves made his heart skip a beat.

...........

Kiara and Ekansh were sitting in his car, as he drove. She was staring out of the window as the soft music was playing in the car.

He kept stealing glances at her, appreciating the sight of her in a saree. He had to admit, she looked gorgeous in traditional clothes.

He reached over and took her hand in his, intertwining their fingers. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, a small gesture of intimacy between them.

She turned her gaze towards him but his focus remained on the road, she looked at their hands and a smile laced her face.

He could feel her gaze on him, and he couldn't help but smirk. He brought their intertwined hands up to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on her knuckles.

"You look beautiful," he said, his voice soft. "I have a hard time keeping my eyes off of you."

"Thank you so much," She smiled, "Aren't you acting different?"

He chuckled, realizing that she was right. "Different how?" he asked, feigning innocence.

"You were grumpy, cold and Silent person before marriage, now a few changes can be seen." She replied.

He couldn't argue with her assessment. Since their marriage, he had noticed changes within himself as well. But he chose to play it cool.

"People can change, you know," he said, a smirk on his face. "Maybe you just bring out the best in me."

She smiled again, "is it?" He nodded, a hint of teasing in his tone. "Oh, definitely. You've got this magical ability to turn a grumpy guy into a sappy one."

..........

The car stopped in front of Kiara's house and they both walked inside, her family welcomed them warmly.

Ekansh settled down on the couch with her brother and father while she ran upstairs, Towards Rookie. She immediately picked him up and hugged him, "oh my little baby, I missed you."

She came back downstairs with Rookie in her arms, "Kiara, take Ekansh to your room. Let him freshen up and then let's have dinner before you head back." Her mother said.

"It's fine we will just go home," he try to deny, "ofcourse not, my son in law is here for the first time. How can I let him go without dinner."

Kiara looked at Ekansh and guided him towards her room, she opened the door and her room was nothing like his, it was full of bright colours.

He looked around the room, taking in the bright colours that adorned every corner. It was a sharp contrast to the minimalist decor of his own house.

He couldn't help but smile at the sight of Rookie snuggled up in Kiara's arms. She was clearly fond of the dog, and he found it endearing.

"Your room is...bright," he said, trying to keep the amusement out of his voice.

"Yeah, I like bright colours." She smiled and opened the washroom's door, "you can freshen up."

"Thanks," he said, stepping into the washroom. He took a moment to gather himself, his mind swirling with thoughts.

He looked at his reflection in the mirror, noticing the small changes in his expression. He felt different around her, more at ease, as if he could drop the pretense of being the serious workaholic.

He splashed some water on his face, trying to clear his mind. He needed to focus on the business deal he had to handle tomorrow, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Kiara.

Kiara was looking at her book collection when he stepped out of the washroom, He glanced at the titles of the books on the shelves, noticing a mix of fiction and non-fiction.

He let his gaze roam over her again, taking in the way her clothes hugged her curves.

"Can I take some of these back to your house?" She asked and turned around just to witness him standing so close, their faces inches apart.

"Our house," he whispered, her breath became heavy, her heart skipped a bit at his husky voice.

He raised his hand and gently tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear, his fingers brushing against her cheek.

"Our house," he repeated, his voice a low rumble. He took a step closer, closing the already small distance between them.

Her eyes widened at his proximity, and he watched as her lips parted slightly, her breath hitching in her throat.

His hand moved down to her chin, tilting it up so that she was looking at him. "You know, we're alone right now," he murmured, his voice thick with innuendo.

He leaned in, his lips hovering just above hers, so close that he could feel her breath on his skin. "And I can't seem to keep my hands off of you."

She closed her eyes, He couldn't resist any longer. He captured her lips in a kiss, his hand sliding down to her waist, pulling her flush against him.

He deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring her mouth hungrily. His other hand moved up to her hair, tangling in the strands and angling her head to give him better access.

Her hands coiled around his neck, He groaned at her touch, his desire for her growing with every passing moment.

He backed her up against the bookshelf, pinning her there as he continued to kiss her, his free hand roaming freely over her body.

And they heard the sound of soft barking, bringing them back to reality. They looked at Rookie who was staring at them and his tail was wagging.

They both chuckled at Rookie's intervention, the moment between them broken but not forgotten.

He took a step back, his hand coming up to brush some of her hair back into place. He could feel the heat still lingering between them, the tension not fully dissipated.

"We should probably go downstairs." he said, his voice tinged with amusement.

She nodded and looked at him, she held the corner of her saree and wiped his lips, "My lipstick got transferred."

A smirk played at the corner of his lips as he watched her wipe away the trace of her lipstick. "Is that so?" he said, his voice low and teasing.

He reached out and touched her cheek gently, his thumb brushing over the same spot she had just wiped. "Careful, you're not helping my resolve to behave myself in front of your family."

"Aren't you being too flirty?" She raised an eyebrow. He chuckled, amused by her comment. "Flirty? Me?" he said, feigning innocence.

He stepped towards her again, closing the distance once more. He placed his hands on her hips, pulling her close to him.

"I just can't help myself around you," he murmured, his face close to hers. He leaned in and traced the shell of her ear with his lips, his breath hot against her skin. "You drive me crazy, and you know it."

She bites her lips, "let's go downstairs." He sighed, reluctantly pulling away from her. "Alright, alright. Let's go,"

He took her hand and led her out of the room, but not before giving one last look back at Rookie, who was now curled up on the bed, seemingly unaware of the tension between them.
