{Third person's pov}

Kiara sat on the couch while Ekansh ran upstairs towards his room, as he was on the stairs he saw that man standing near the door.

Seeing Ekansh the colour of his face faded, Ekansh chased him and he ran towards the balcony, He was about to jump off the balcony, but Ekansh threw a vase at him, making him fall on the floor and become unconscious.

Ekansh went towards him and tied his hands with a cloth that was kept in the balcony and dragged him inside a room, locking him in and he came out.

Kiara was sitting in the hall, her tears continuously flowing.

As Ekansh entered the hall, his gaze landed on Kiara, her tears still streaming down her face. His heart clenched at the sight of her distress, his protective instincts flaring up.

He approached her, his steps measured and deliberate. "It's alright now," he reassured her gently, his voice a soothing balm amidst the chaos.

He sat down beside her, pulling her into his arms, she snuggled in, her head resting against his chest. He could feel her trembling, her body shaking with the aftermath of the traumatic ordeal.

"Ekansh, he tried touching me." She cried more, Ekansh rubbed her back train to calm her.

"That will never happen again baby, calm down please, look I am here." He whispered, kissing her forehead.

"How did he get in?" He asked and she raised her gaze, "he told me he was from the income tax department."

Ekansh's expression darkened at her words, his grip on her tightening instinctively. "It was a facade. I'll make sure I'll investigate it, don't worry."

He sighed inwardly, his mind already racing with thoughts of how to ensure their safety and uncover the truth behind the fake officer's identity.

He lifted her, gently placing her on his lap, their bodies pressed close together. His arms encircled her waist, holding her tightly yet tenderly, as if shielding her from the world's ugliness.

"I thought I won't make it today," She whispered against his neck.

He shushed her, a protective hand rubbing her back in soothing circles. "I'd never let anything happen to you," he murmured fiercely, his breath warm against her skin. "I'll always come for you, no matter what."

She nodded and soon sleep engulfed her, she was exhausted. A couple of bruises covered her body.

Ekansh noticed the bruises, his gaze hardening as his fingers gently traced over them, a mix of rage and concern etched on his face. He vowed silently to find out who was behind this and make them pay.

.........

Kiara woke up and looked at her surrounding, she was in their room. The room was fully clean and it was almost night.

She sat up and looked at herself, her clothes were changed and her bruises were treated. She smiled knowing her husband did all that.

"Ekansh?" She called out but he didn't answer.

Meanwhile Ekansh was in the room where he locked that man, "Who are you? I am asking for the last time, if you don't want your family to suffer. Say your name." Ekansh asked and pointed his gun on the man's head.

"I won't hesitate in killing someone for my wife." He whispered and pulled the trigger.

"It's not my fault, your step mother paid me to do this." The man shivered.

Ekansh's eyes widened slightly at the mention of his step-mother's name. An unexpected wave of anger and disbelief washed over him as he realized the extent of her involvement in this ordeal.

His grip on the gun tightened, his voice filled with a deadly calm. "You're saying this was all her doing?" he asked, his tone sharp and devoid of any mercy.

"Yes sir, please leave me." The man cried, "leave you? That's not happening. Even though she told you to do this, you were the one who touched my wife. You will pay."

With that he kept the gun inside and punched the man until he was unconscious, once he fell unconscious Ekansh called the police.

He left the room, locking the man in and walked towards their room, he saw Kiara standing in the balcony looking at the moon.

Ekansh paused in the doorway, his gaze falling upon Kiara's figure on the balcony, silhouetted against the night sky.

The sight of her stirred something within him, a mix of protectiveness and affection.

He leaned against the doorframe, watching her for a few moments, soaking in her quiet strength.

Finally, he walked towards her, his footsteps soft. He stood beside her, their shoulders brushing lightly. He reached out, gently taking one of her hands in his, the touch a silent gesture of reassurance.

Kiara looked at him and turned him before hugging him. "I was scared."

He wrapped his arms tightly around her, his embrace firm and comforting. "I know," he whispered, his voice filled with a mixture of concern and tenderness. "But I'm here now."

He pulled her closer, one hand coming up to gently stroke her hair, a protective gesture. "You're safe," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm against her fears. "I won't let anyone hurt you again."

She nodded and snuggled more into his chest.

He held her, feeling the weight of her body against him. His hand continued to gently brush through her hair, his touch gentle yet possessive.

He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his voice barely above a whisper. "I won't let anything happen to you," he repeated, the words a solemn promise. "I'll protect you, no matter what."

Soon the siren buzzed and Kiara looked at the garden, it was the police. She looked at Ekansh confused.

"Baby stay here, I will be back." He pecked her forehead and walked downstairs.

He welcomed the police officers and took him towards the man, as the police officers witness the man they immediately knew he has done many crimes.

They immediately arrested him and left, Ekansh walked inside his room, but Kiara wasn't there. He frowned and walked towards the Washroom and he heard the sound of water running, indicating she was taking a shower.

He twisted the door knob and the washroom wasn't locked, she was facing the wall. She was rubbing her arms harshly as if she was trying to forget the man's touch.

He walked up to her, his steps silent. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, his touch a warm presence in the midst of her torment. "Hey," he whispered, his voice soft but firm, "stop scrubbing so hard."

She stared into his gaze, she was scared and disgusted by that man. She immediately hugged him, soaking his dry clothes.

He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly against him. His shirt clung to him, the fabric growing damp from the water and her tears. But he didn't care.

He whispered soothing words into her ear, his fingers gently running through her wet hair. "It's okay, baby," he murmured, his voice filled with tenderness. "I'm here. You're safe now."

He closed the running water and gently lifted her up, he took her towards the basin slab and wrapped her in a bathrobe.

He made her sit on the slab and started drying her hairs gently, "Ekansh. Am I dirty now?" She asked.

Ekansh stopped his movements for a brief moment, the question catching him off guard. He looked down at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and tenderness.

He gently cupped her face in his hands, his touch gentle yet firm. "No," he answered, his voice firm and resolute. "You are not dirty. You are beautiful, strong, and unbroken. That man's actions are a reflection of his own cruelty, not your worth."

She nodded and looked down, playing with her engagement ring, He continued drying her hair with a towel, his movements tender and meticulous. He noticed her preoccupation with her engagement ring, her touch indicating a need for reassurance.

He gently took her hand in his, his thumb gently tracing circles over her engagement ring. "Look at me," he murmured gently.

She lifted her gaze to meet his, His gaze locked onto hers, his eyes filled with love and reassurance. "You are mine," he stated, his voice soft yet resolute. "That man has no power over you. He can't take away your beauty or your strength and your purity baby."

He lifted her chin with his index finger, gently tilting her face up towards him. "You are my wife baby, you mean the world to me. Don't overthink, everything is better now. I love you." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
