{Third person's pov}

Ekansh sat out of the Icu, His back on the wall. He was sitting on the floor, his eyes swollen from crying but his specs were hiding a bit of it.

He was just praying for her to get up as soon as possible and hug him, but they knew from the start, This was risky. He tried stopping her but she was stubborn.

His child was weak too, he was in especial care too. Because he was delivered before the due date.

"Bhaiya, At least drink some water, You haven't eaten anything since last night." Chitransh, his step brother forwarded a bottle towards him.

He shook his head, refusing the water. "I can't eat, I can't do anything. I just want her back, alive and healthy." He rasped out, his voice broken and weary from crying.

He gripped the fabric of his shirt tightly, his knuckles turning white from the pressure. "I can't lose her, I can't."

"We all want her, beta. But don't make yourself weak, you have a child to take care of." Her mother patted his back, she was crying too. But his pain was more. "I know, But she is all I have, I have no one else."

He looked at her mother, tears streaming down his cheeks, His father who was standing at a distance saw him this vulnerable second time. Once when he lost his mother and now when his wife was in a critical situation.

His father stepped forward, his gaze filled with a mix of sadness and concern. He took in the sight of his son, broken and vulnerable, and felt a pang of sympathy.

He approached him slowly and knelt down beside him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know it's difficult, son. But you have to be strong, for Kiara and for your child."

He got up and looked through the small glass, the nurses still surrounding her, Doing everything to heal her.

"Mr. Shekhawat, We need these injection." The nurse forwarded him the slip, before he could take it Chitransh took it, "I will get these."

He watched his step brother leave to get the needed injection. A sense of gratitude welled up within him. Despite the complicated dynamics of their family, Chitransh was there, supporting him and his family.

His gaze turned back to the glass window, his heart heavy with worry. The sight of the nurses tending to Kiara was a painful reminder of the fragility of life.

He clenched his jaw and shut his eyes tightly, a silent plea for her to pull through filling his mind.

The doctor came out and looked at Ekansh, "We have to shift her on the ventilator." That was the last stage, When the patient is closest to giving up they are kept on the ventilator.

His eyes widened in horror, his breath catching in his throat. He felt as if someone had punched him in the gut, leaving him gasping for air.

He staggered to his feet, his body trembling with fear and despair. "No, no, no," he repeated, his voice weak and hoarse. "You have to save her, you have to."

"We tried everything Mr. Shekhawat, If she is not willing to live what else can we do?" The doctor explained, "She has to live, for me and our baby, the baby she was ready to die for, she should live for that baby, shouldn't she?"

The door opened, and his voice could be heard in the room, "Her pulse is rising," the nurse shouted and the doctor went inside again.

"Was it because of his voice?" The doctor asked and the nurse shrugged, "Get him here, now."

Ekansh was called inside the room, he sat next to her. "Talk to her, encourage her, tell her you need her." The doctor said.

He nodded, the lump in his throat making it hard to speak. He leaned closer to her, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Come back to me, love," he murmured, his hand finding hers and holding it tightly. "I need you. We need you. Please, don't give up."

"Her pulse rate is rising again," the nurse informed sparking a hope inside everyone, He felt a glimmer of hope spark within him, his heart racing in his chest. He clutched her hand tighter, his voice filled with desperation.

"Keep fighting, love," he whispered, his voice shaking with emotion. "Please, for me, for our child. We need you here."

He kept talking to her for ten minutes then fifteen and finally her fingers moved, His eyes widened in awe as he saw her fingers move, the small movement sending a surge of hope coursing through him.

"She moved her fingers," he said aloud, his voice trembling with excitement. "She can hear me, she's still there."

"Keep talking Mr. Shekhawat we are doing our work." The doctor informed, He swallowed hard and nodded, his focus solely on her now. He began speaking again, his voice steady and sure.

"You're a fighter, love," he said firmly. "You've always been strong, and you can get through this. Fight for me, for our child. We're waiting for you, please come back to us. I love you."

"It's a girl, You know I won't be able to braid her hair when she grow up, we need you." He whispered almost loosing hope but she opened her eyes slowly, her hands holding his.

His heart leapt in his chest as he saw her eyes slowly open. A flood of emotions washed over him, relief and hope flooding his veins.

He held her hand tightly, tears streaming down his face. "You're awake, love," he whispered, his voice cracking from emotion. "You're still with us."

He leaned closer to her, his hand shaking as he reached up to gently brush a strand of hair away from her face. "I was so worried," he murmured, his voice filled with raw emotion. "I couldn't bear the thought of losing you."

She smiled slightly, "our baby?" He let out a shaky breath, a mixture of joy and relief filling his heart. "She's safe, love," he affirmed, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "She's strong, just like her mother."

She looked at the nurse and back to Ekansh, "Is she healthy?" He nodded, his gaze fixed on hers. "She's healthy, love," he replied, his voice filled with reassurance. "She's perfect, just like you."

"Can I see her? Once?" She asked, her voice was weak and barely audible. He nodded, his grip on her hand tightening. "Of course, you can see her," he said softly. "But first, you need to rest. You've been through a lot."
