Chapter 40
FORTY
LEVIATHAN
Aiden always looks so peaceful when he sleeps.
I consider waking him, thinking that maybe this is something he needs to know, but think better of it. I tell myself that it’ll be a pleasant surprise when he wakes up. Something to cheer him up a bit after the couple of rough days he’s had.
I bend down and kiss his forehead, my lips lingering on his skin as he sighs in his sleep, a lazy smile on his lips. He’s so precious. I hope he likes what I have in store for him when he wakes up.
I snag my mask off the dresser on the way out the door and pause when it’s time to choose my weapon. I think it over, wondering which one will suit my purpose today, and end up settling on the nail-spiked baseball bat.
I leave my room, close the door behind me, and go next door. It only takes one knock for Bel to answer. His blue hair is stuck up at odd angles, and he rubs his eyes as he yawns. “What’s up, bro?”
I jut my chin behind him. “Gore in there?”
“Yeah,” he mumbles, scratching his cheek. “But he’s kinda worn out right now, if you know what I mean.”
Yes, I definitely do, because I heard them going at it all night.
“Wake him up,” I command.
To this, he frowns. “My baby needs his sleep, Levi. I’m not waking him unless something’s wrong.”
I shake my head, a smirk creeping up my lips as I place my bat over my shoulder. “Nothing’s wrong, Bel. Something’s going to go very right for us tonight, as long as you promise to keep your mouth shut.”
He catches up to my meaning and suddenly his eyes are bright and alert. “Fuck yeah!” He turns behind him, yelling at Gore, who mumbles something about ‘fucking off’ . Bel rolls his eyes and turns back to me. “I’ll get him awake. Meet downstairs?”
I nod. “Hurry up. I want to get this over with before Aiden wakes up.”
He grins deviously. “Getting your boyfriend a present?”
I shrug but can’t keep the excitement out of my voice. “Something like that.”
“Whose house is this?” Gore asks, watching as I pick the lock on the front door.
Bel scoffs, jumping on his toes beside me. “Does it matter?”
“They have neighbors,” I hiss, throwing both of them a glare. “We’re going in as quietly as possible. Get in and get out. This is only our first stop of the night.”
Although they don’t like that, they both nod. Once the door unlocks, I wave them in to follow me. When we enter, I take a moment to appreciate the home. Well, appreciate might be a stretch. More like, observe. It looks like any ordinary human home. Boring furniture, somewhat tacky decorations, but cookie-cutter all the same.
If only people knew the horrors that occurred here.
“We’re here for the man,” I tell them as we ascend the stairs. “Leave the woman, knock her out, I don’t give a fuck.”
Bel pouts. “Why can’t we kill her?”
“Because that’s not the plan,” I say, rolling my eyes. “Look, I promise you’ll get your turn, but we need to be quick about this.”
Gore gives me a curt nod, reading the seriousness in my voice, and unhooks his rope from his belt. Bel produces a gag, along with a towel that I know is soaked in chloroform. We enter the room in silence and the two figures are asleep as predicted. I jut my chin at Gore to take care of the woman while Bel and I go to the man.
It’s easy enough for Bel to slap his hand over the man’s nose and mouth, and I find a supreme satisfaction at seeing the fear in his eyes when he realizes what’s happening.
I grin, chuckling under my breath as my brothers help me get him ready for transport.
Because he has no idea what he’s truly in for.
“Are you fucking out of your mind?”
Bel, Gore, and I stand in the basement, the three of us lined up at the back wall like we’re getting ready for the firing squad as Mammon screams at us.
“You’re going to wake Aiden,” I snap, throwing him a snarl.
His eyes widen in disbelief, and he snorts. “That’s what you’re worried about? Waking up your bounty? I’m more concerned with what the three of you were thinking tonight.”
“It was Levi’s idea!” Gore rushes out, big brown eyes watering as he flutters his lashes at Mammon. “I’m so sorry, Mammon!”
I roll my eyes. First of all, no fucking loyalty, I see. And, of course, Mammon buys into Gore’s ‘woe is me’ bullshit. I swear, he likes to hide it, but he has a soft spot for the terror twins.
So, instead of giving them more shit, he snaps his head toward me. “Explain.”
I take in a deep breath. How am I supposed to explain what’s going on without making Mammon bust a vein? He’s not going to like my reasoning for kidnapping two men in the middle of the night and bringing them to our torture chamber in the house right next door. He’s not going to understand either, but it’s too late to backtrack now.
“Can you trust me, brother?” I ask, hoping he can see the conviction and the desperation in my eyes. “Please. I’ll take my punishment, but I need this.”
His nostrils flare as he thinks through my words. As always, I’m testing his patience. We all do, and some might call him a saint for putting up with all of us, even though he’s the farthest thing from holy.
After a second, he pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs. “Fucking hell. Did you at least cover your tracks?”
Bel’s the one that nods. “A carefully worded letter to both wives about why they needed to leave them should suffice.”
“If not, we can get a conduit involved,” Gore proposes with a shrug. “I think we’re good.”
Mammon nods, chewing on the inside of his cheek. “And we…”
He trails off, and the three of us look at each other because we know what his hesitation means.
Bel is the first one to act. He slinks up to Mammon, plastering himself against his right side, rubbing his hands up and down his bicep. “Come on, Daddy. You know you want to…”
“Think about how good it would feel,” Gore adds, going to his other side, and innocently holding his hand.
Bel reaches for Mammon’s cock, giving him a light squeeze. “Wanna get dirty with us?”
I applaud Mammon for his restraint. He just swallows, slapping Bel’s hand away from his dick. He levels me with a look and cocks his head. “We get our turn?”
I shrug. “As long as they stay alive, you can do whatever the fuck you want with them.”
“And are you going to tell us who they are?”
I smirk, rubbing my hands together. “All in due time.”
“Go get Asi,” Mammon commands, tapping Gore’s hip. “See if he wants to join us.” He flicks a brow at me when I stay plastered against the wall. “You coming?”
I nod. “Yeah, but I’ll meet you there. Something I have to do first.”
He nods as he, Bel, and Gore head up the stairs.I wait for a beat, trying to calm my excited racing heart before following them. They’re already in our mansion by the time I leave the house and walk next door. I go up the stairs, chuckling when I see they’ve managed to get Asi out of bed.
“It’s fucking late,” he grumbles as he passes me, but he can’t talk shit when he’s holding a knife.
I flick him off and go upstairs to my room, silently creeping the door open. Aiden’s still asleep curled up in a ball, so I go to the bed and sit beside him.
“Little lamb,” I whisper, running the back of my knuckles down his cheek. “Wake up.”
His nose wrinkles in annoyance. “No. Fuck off, Levi.”
Fuck, he’s perfect.
I chuckle, bending down to bite his neck until he yelps. “No. Get up.”
“What do you want?” he complains, reaching for his cracked glasses on the nightstand as he sits up. “Can we fuck in the morning? I’m sleep deprived.”
Just the mention of fucking him makes my cock swell. Maybe we could…
Focus, Leviathan.
I clear my throat and yank the covers off him. “Get up and follow me.”
He raises a brow at my tone, slowly crossing his arms over his chest in a challenge. “Really? And what exactly are you going to do if I don’t.”
What a dangerous game to play, little lamb.
I lick my lips and dart my hand up to wrap around his throat. I squeeze until his eyes roll to the back of his head and drag him to me.
“I’ll rape that pretty little hole of yours,” I threaten, licking a slow stripe up his cheek. “For hours I’ll fuck you like I hate you, bringing you closer and closer to the edge until you’re crying and begging for mercy. Maybe I’ll even put a cage on that little cock of yours so you can’t get off without me.”
He wheezes, eyes hooded with lust. “Promise?”
I squeeze one more time before letting him go. “Up.”
He groans, throwing me an irritated glare, but listens nonetheless. Once he’s dressed, I take his wrist and drag him out of my room and down the stairs. He gives me a questioning brow when we leave the house and head next door.
“What’s going on?” he asks as I let us in. “Are you actually going to kill me?”
I laugh. “No, little lamb. This is much, much better than your death.”
It looks like he has more questions to ask, but he keeps his mouth shut. I produce a key from my pocket, one I always try and carry, and let us into the basement. We descend the stairs and Aiden’s eyes widen when the wooden walls transform into soundproof steel.
I stop right in front of the bolted door, placing both hands on his cheeks as I bring him in for a kiss. I pour everything in my fucked up soul into this kiss.
I promise to keep you.
I promise to protect you.
I promise to do whatever you need.
“I’ll be here,” is all I say.
“You’re starting to worry me,” he whispers, clutching my hands. “What’s going on?”
“You’ll see,” I say, giving him one last kiss before I open the door so he can welcome our newest guests.
“D-Dad?”
