Chapter Nineteen
Alfie
I couldn’t have told you what happened for the rest of Friday afternoon.
My brain was completely preoccupied with replaying what happened at lunch and planning for the evening, trying to work exactly how to make it perfect.
I kept having to volunteer to dip into the freezer, so I could cool off and prevent my face from giving me away, because it wouldn’t stop flushing.
Milo was definitely suspicious, but I kept fobbing him off by saying I had a lot on my mind.
And technically I did.
It just wasn’t worries about my relationship for a change.
The predicted rain finally arrived a little after four, which meant our queues virtually disappeared, and by the time closing rolled around, we’d already finished our clean down.
“I’m going to shoot off,” I said as I locked the front door. “I promised Jonathan we’d spend some time together tonight.”
“Sounds fun,” Milo said from behind the counter, a teasing smirk lighting up his face. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”
“I’m not sure I even want to know what’s on your ‘no’ list.”
“I’ll tell you if you want.”
“No thanks,” I said quickly, as I noticed Jonathan walking down the street towards the shop.
He was wrapped in a long, black coat and holding a large black-and-white striped umbrella.
My chest tightened and I became painfully aware of my heart.
I knew we needed to talk about surviving the summer and what we wanted from this, but all my thoughts were currently occupied with more pleasurable ways for us to pass the time.
I waved at him through the door and saw the exact moment he spotted me because the most beautiful smile spread across his lips. He waved back and I motioned for him to stay there while I grabbed my stuff.
“See you all tomorrow,” I said as I rushed into the kitchen, roughly threw my fleece on, and grabbed the straps of my bag. Darcy might have asked me a question, but I wasn’t paying enough attention to hear what it was. If it was important he could message me.
I ducked out of the kitchen door and slipped down the alley beside the building, hopping over the puddles that had formed on the potholed surface. Water dripped down the back of my neck, making me shiver, but I’d forgotten my umbrella so I had no choice but to get wet.
Jonathan was waiting patiently for me, his smile bathing me in warmth as he held out his hand to pull me under his umbrella.
“Hello again. Fancy seeing you here,” he said softly as I tilted my head down to kiss him, savouring the feel of his lips.
It had only been a few hours since we’d parted, but it somehow felt like days.
“Such a coincidence,” I said, rubbing my nose against his. “Almost like we’d planned it.”
“I’ve been thinking about you all afternoon.”
“Me too. Did Theo and Laurie—”
Jonathan chuckled, his cheeks flushing. “Did you not hear the excited screeching?”
“No?”
“Probably for the best,” he said. “Did Milo or Darcy figure out what we did?”
“No, I don’t think so. Milo was suspicious but I think I managed to distract him.”
Another burst of rain drummed on the umbrella roof as thick clouds rolled in off the sea. I slid my hand into his, taking a small step back. “If we walk quickly, we can get back to mine before it gets worse.”
The walk didn’t take us long, and I let go of Jonathan’s hand as I gestured at the stone steps which led down to my basement flat. “Just watch the stairs, they can get a bit slippy when they’re wet.”
“This is nice,” Jonathan said, looking around as he waited for me to dig my keys out of my pocket.
“You haven’t seen inside yet.”
“I’m not sure if you mean that in a good or bad way.”
“Neutral, I think.” I unlocked the door and pushed it open. “It’s nice enough, definitely could be worse—there’s no mould at least—but it’s not particularly spacious. And of course, we’re below street level so there’s not a lot of natural light. I don’t have many windows.”
Jonathan folded his umbrella and stepped inside, leaving room for me to follow him. The air between us felt heavy with possibilities and I wasn’t sure if I should be nervous or excited. His enjoyment was my first priority, coupled with his comfort, and those expectations weighed on my shoulders.
The trust he’d placed in me was priceless.
And I didn’t intend to break or squander it.
Raising my hands, I reached for the collar of his unbuttoned coat, slowly easing it off over his shoulders and hanging it on the hooks near the door.
Jonathan exhaled audibly, his eyes full of want as he gazed at me.
“I’ve been thinking… about tonight… and I, well…
I… would you…” He swallowed. “I know you wanted to blow me, and I’d love that, but also if you wanted to do more, I’d like that. ”
“What would you like?” I asked, putting my hand on his waist to draw him close.
“I, er, well… perhaps, you could use your fingers? I want you to come too, although maybe not on my face again, I’m really not convinced about the taste.”
I leant down and kissed him slowly, pressing my tongue into his mouth, drawing a sweet moan from his throat. “So, you’d like me to use my fingers on your arse? And you want me to blow you? Is that right?”
“Y-Yes.”
“Have you ever done any anal play before? Even by yourself.”
“Y-Yes.” He nodded slightly. “A little. By myself. I wanted to know what it felt like.”
“It will be different with a partner.”
He looked up at me, lips pink and shining, eyes blazing with need. I’d never seen him look so determined. “I know. That’s why I want it,” he said, fingers gripping the front of my shirt. “I want you, Alfie. Please, don’t make me wait any longer.”
How could I deny him? I’d give Jonathan anything he wanted. I would fall down on my knees if he asked, give him everything I had and more. I was so afraid that I’d never be good enough for him, that I’d fall short in every aspect of our relationship and leave him wishing he’d chosen someone else.
But if I didn’t try then I’d already failed.
“I’m not going to. You can have whatever you want from me.”
Jonathan yanked me forward and into a fierce kiss, nipping my lip before soothing it with his tongue. I groaned as my arms wrapped around him, the heat from his body seeping into me. We were still barely inside the front door, but my flat wasn’t large and my bedroom was only a few steps away.
“Can I take you to my room?” I asked, the words whispered between desperate kisses.
“Yes!”
We slipped our shoes off and I kept kissing him as I slowly steered him towards the door on the right.
My flat was a slightly odd shape, since the building was on a corner, but at least the rooms were a decent size.
We hit the wall next to my bedroom and broke apart, both of us laughing softly.
“Perhaps I should let you open the door before one of us gets injured,” Jonathan said.
There was a pretty flush decorating his cheeks and I couldn’t wait to see it spread across the rest of him.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. I won’t deprive you for long.
” I threw the door open and took his hand to lead him inside, glad I’d found the time to at least make this room look presentable.
Not that Jonathan was here to admire my decorating skills.
Luckily, the curtains were already shut so that nobody could peer into my room from the street outside.
Our lips met again as we reached the foot of the bed, his fingers quickly unbuttoning my shirt so he could push it over my shoulders and run his hands across my chest, moaning softly as he explored my heated skin. “More,” he said, and I smiled because this assertiveness suited him.
I finished tugging my shirt off, watching as he undid his waistcoat and a couple of buttons on his own shirt, dragging it over his head and dumping it on the floor. “Let me,” I said as he reached for the button on his trousers.
“Oh… I should tell you… um, I changed my underwear. It was a, er… suggestion? From Theo.” He glanced away and bit his lip. “But I really like it. I hope you do too.”
“I’m sure I will,” I said, lowering myself to my knees in front of him as my fingers slipped the button open and gently teased them open, revealing beautiful black lace. “Oh, Jonathan. They’re beautiful.”
I pushed his trousers down so I could get a better look.
It was a pair of simple, lace panties, the darkness of the fabric contrasting perfectly with his pale skin.
They were already stretched across the front of his hard cock, and it almost seemed a shame to take them off.
But I didn’t want to rip them, especially if they were his only pair.
I’d have to make sure I bought him more of them. Then it wouldn’t matter if a few got ruined.
“One day, I want to watch you make a mess of these for me,” I said, running my finger across his straining cock.
“Do you like them, then?”
“I love them.” I pressed a kiss to the lace, loving the way it made him moan. “But I’m going to take them off so they don’t get damaged.”
Jonathan nodded as I slid the soft panties down his thighs, carefully stepping out of them. Naked or dressed, he was the most beautiful man I’d ever seen. And I was going to show him how much he meant to me.
“Lie down on the bed. I’m going to get some lube.”
“You’re going to finish getting undressed too, aren’t you?”
“Do you want me to be naked?”
He smirked as his gaze raked over me. “I can’t decide if you’re teasing or not. But in case you are, the answer is yes: I want you to be naked.”
I wasn’t going to disobey him.
Shrugging off the rest of my clothes, I quickly grabbed the bottle of lube from my chest of drawers and walked back to the bed. Jonathan was lying in the middle, waiting for me with the most sultry eyes I’d ever seen. They were a siren call and I was powerless to resist.
“You’re so beautiful,” I whispered as I climbed onto the bed, leaving the lube beside his thigh as I leant over to kiss him deeply, my hands on either side of his head.
“So are you.”
