Chapter 38 Club

? Grey ?

I stare at him as he fidgets. He doesn't say anything and I'm growing impatient.

"If you're here to fucking waste my time then get out," I advise him and he looks up toward me. He shakes his head.

"I'm not, I swear," he answers carefully.

"Then what, Theo?" I sigh heavily.

"So we were all in the meeting room," he begins, interlocking his fingers, "and we were talking about going to Montana and stuff. Then Jai came in and told everyone that he was opening up the store. So most of them left."

"This is such a god-awful, boring story," I give him an unamused look.

"I'm not done yet," he tells me.

"So then Jacqueline came in," he swallows, "and she came up to me and you know how she is. She's all flirty and stuff and so she was flirting. Well, I wasn't having it and she...she grabbed onto me."

He takes a deep breath and leans back in his chair.

"What do you mean 'grabbed onto you' Theo?"

"She grabbed my dick," he mumbles uncomfortably. I run my hand down the side of my jaw.

There's no doubt that Jacqueline is flirty. She's flirtatious with me and apparently the other guys too.

Working here though, with well-trained people, I've never had to deal with an actual issue like this before.

I knew she was no good from the time she got here. I wasn't able to pick her from the group and that itself gave me a bad feeling from her.

"Do you want her charged?" I question and he shakes his head.

"No. I just want her gone and I want to completely forget about it," he answers, shaking his head.

I nod.

I should unleash Azalea on her ass.

That'd be a fight I'd pay a lot of money to see happen.

"I'll take care of it," I assure him, "Now get the fuck out."

"Good. Just like nothing happened. I like how you're saying that just as always. Bye-bye," He stands and exits.

I wait a couple of minutes to finish up what I was doing on the computer and then I step out of the office to find Jacqueline. Bitch.

I find her in the meeting room with a couple of guys all watching tv.

"Jacqueline," I call out and her head snaps to me. A smile appears on her face. I feel like throwing up on the floor but I refrain because I'm a nice person.

"Come with me," I tell her. That stupid ass smile on her face turns more seductive and she rises slowly.

I swear to God if she touches me, I'm going to lose my shit, unleash Azalea, and also personally train Bear to attack the living shit out of her.

I lead her back to my office. She closes the door behind us and I turn around to see her way too fucking close to me.

I take three steps back and she starts following me as a go back.

"You're out," I tell her.

"Hm?" she hums, not paying attention to shit.

"You're fired. You don't work here anymore. You're done. I hate the fuck out of you. Get your shit and leave," I tell her. Her smile drops.

"What? Why!?" she nearly shrieks.

"Because I said so."

"You can't just do that!" she stomps her foot.

"Really?" I wonder, "Does my boss prevent me from getting rid of people?"

"Yes he does!"

"That's funny. I don't have a boss so I think you're making shit up now," I furrow my eyebrows mockingly at her.

"I'm going to report you!" She grows even angrier.

"Really? To who? How would you like it if Theo wanted to press charges against you for sexual assault?"

Her eyes widen and she takes step back. She remains quiet for a couple of seconds.

"Leave," I glare and she does.

I spend an hour or two finishing up setting up everything we need for the Montana trip right as Lilah comes strutting in the room. She's got a plate full of cheese fries and a huge grin on her face.

She feeds me two fries even though I told her I didn't want any and she goes on and on about how much she's excited about getting on a plane and going to Montana.

"I heard Jai talking about Jacqueline leaving out of here looking really really mad," she says and I turn my head toward her as she shoves five fries in her mouth at once.

I'm happy she's eating.

"I fired her ass," I tell her and her eyes widen. Then she hugs me.

"Aw, I'm proud of you for firing your first employee. I bet it felt good, didn't it?" she kisses my cheek twice. She's only proud of me because just like everyone else, she didn't like her. If it was anyone else that I fired, she'd be sad.

"What'd she do besides be rude?" she wonders innocently.

"She sexually assaulted Theo. Grabbed his dick," I sigh and she pauses all her movements. Then her bottom lip starts wiggling a bit.

"Don't cry, Lilah," I whisper softly and her eyes tear up. I hate when she cries. It just does things to me that don't make me feel good.

"I'm crying," she nods, her voice wiggly.

"Don't, it's okay," I try to assure her but there's no stopping it now.

She stands from my lap and I follow her as she walks out the door. She walks until she finds Theo and when she does she wraps her small arms around his torso.

"Azalea?" he questions, looking up at me confusedly, "What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry," she cries into his chest and I feel my own chest constrict in pain. She's too sweet and she cares about anyone and everything way more than anyone I even thought existed.

"For what?" he mumbles softly down to her.

"Jacqueline was terrible and she touched you and I feel really sad," she hugs him tighter. He smiles softly.

"Azalea, it's okay. You don't need to feel sad. I'm okay. And Grey made everything better because now she's gone. She can't touch anyone else and she can't be mean to you anymore," he explains and her crying calms.

"Are you sure you're okay? I'll beat her the freak up if you want me to," she assures him and I smile a little at her.

"I promise I'm okay," he nods and she pulls away.

"I'm here for you if you're ever not okay, okay?" she pats his arm. He smiles.

"Okay," he nods.

~~~
?Azalea?
"I'm freaking ready bud!" I tell Grey excitedly. The only thing we're missing is Bear who stays with Dr. Weiner when Grey goes on trips. Apparently, Bear doesn't like flying and tends to have the poops when on planes.
"Don't call me bud," Grey grumbles.
We get our own plane. I'm freaking out! It's crazy to think that little ole me is going to be on a plane full of only great people that I know.
It's crazy to think I'm going on a plane in general. And with Grey. I reach down and I slap his butt. I do it so much now that he barely even notices I do it. He lifts all our luggage out of the car and sits it on the asphalt. I reach in to grab a bag and he slaps my hand away.
"Let me help you donkey," I scrunch my nose at him. He pauses and looks over at me. Then he steps away from the car and gives me a 'go ahead' head tilt. Feeling smug, I reach in and grab onto the handle of the large black suitcase. I pull and it moves maybe an inch.
I pull away and look over to Grey who is leaning against the car, a smug look on his face. I crack my fingers in front of me, show him my crazy amount of arm muscles, and try again.
"You purposefully gave me the hardest one to get out, didn't you?" I narrow my eyes at him, giving up. He walks forward and yanks it out with one arm in a matter of two seconds.
"Maybe," he whispers, placing a short, sweet kiss on my lips. We meet up with all the guys coming and our luggage is put on the plane.
Upon entering the plane, I get a little sad thinking about Jake. He hadn't been on a plane either and I know he always wanted to.
Grey leads me to where the two of us are sitting, mostly away from the other guys because Grey doesn't like to be around them on planes.
We sit and wait for about thirty minutes and then we start taking off. Grey couldn't have a care in the world meanwhile I'm beside him freaking out.
I thought I was going to be excited and happy but being on the plane as it's floating up into the air is freaking me out.
Grey notices that. Of course he does. He notices everything even though I tried to hide it.
He places his hand on the side of my head and pulls me into his chest.
"It's okay, Lilah," he kisses the top of my head.
I drift off on his shoulder only to wake up again four hours later.
"Nice nap?" Grey questions and I sit up in my seat.
"Sleeping beauty has awoken," Oaklee leans his body against the seat across from ours. I peek out the window to the left of me and sure enough, we're up in the air. Duh.
"Grey look!" I point down at the mountains below us.
"Leave," Grey mumbles to Oaklee but I'm too distracted by the view out of the window to scold him for being rude. He places his hand on my thigh.
"We have about two hours left on here," he tells me. Plenty of time for more sight-seeing what's below us. I'm excited.
"Want to be a part of the mile-high club?" he leans into me and kisses my neck below my ear. That sounds like it's got something to do with drugs. But knowing everything and everyone on this plane, I can understand that it's not. But it's a club?
I think it would be nice to be a part of a club. Why not?
"Yes," I nod and he pulls away, looking at me with a gorgeous smirk on his face. He moves out of his seat and pulls my hand with him. He rushes to the very back of the plane.
I look at the guys who are sitting only in the front. They pay no attention to Grey and I.
"Where on earth are you taking me?" I question him. He moves past the bathroom and down a short narrow hallway. At the end of the hall, there's a door. He opens the door and closes it behind us.
I'm starting to think this club is nonexistent.
In the room, there's luggage everywhere. But not normal luggage. Gun luggage. Oh dear Jesus.
"Grey! Why the heck did you bring me here?" I place my hands on my hips. He locks the door and turns toward me.
"Because this is the only place that no one will come to," he leans down and places his lips against mine needily. I pull away out of breath.
The room is dark, barely lit up by some sort of light.
What kind of club is this?
He lifts me suddenly and places me on top of a counter-type ledge. He pulls his shirt off and yanks mine off after.
