Chapter 20 Who Is She?
The next morning I go woke up to Sam shaking me. "Katherine we have to leave for school in fifteen minutes why are you not up?"
I flipped over and sat up feeling the left over sting from last night. "Fuck I
don't have my phone. Why did no one wake me up?"
Sam shrugged "I guess we all just assumed you were up. Hurry up and get ready." He said as he walked out of my room.
I jump up and rush around my room trying to get ready. I grabbed my makeup bag and a hair brush then race down the stairs.
"Someone is running late." Wes was stilling at the kitchen island on his phone. Lucky he still had one.
"Shut up Weston." I groan throwing my hairbrush at him. He quickly catches it right as I feel a sting on my butt.
I yelped and turned around to see Bruce glaring at me holding a cup and granola bar in one hand. "Don't throw things at your brother young lady. Here is a smoothy and food. You all need to go before you're late for school. If you're late you will have to start going in early with Logan and Reuben." We all groan and head towards the door.
I try my best to put my hair into braids and do my makeup. But Sam is speeding around corners so bad that I almost poked my eye out.
"SAM SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!" I growl trying to fix my eyeliner that just went down my check.
"Well maybe if you stop trying to look like a clown you would be okay." Wes elbowed me as I tried to put on mascara but instead I end up hitting my forehead. Ugh sometimes I hate boys!
"Weston I swear on my life that if Sam doesn't kill us while driving I will if you touch me again." I glare as I reach in my bag looking for wipes. Thank God I had some makeup wipes in my backpack.
"Will you two shut up! I can't be late again for first period Mr. Hall said he would tell Reuben." Sam said as he looked at us in the rear view mirror.
"Ugh I hate him. Like he thinks he is above everyone else. News flash you're a high school computer teacher." Jere rolled his eyes.
I managed to finish my makeup and hair just as we pulled into the parking lot with ten minutes to get to class. I got to class in time and the rest of the morning was going okay until my third period.
"Hey Kat you ready for tonight?" A girl from the cheer team named Maycee asked.
"What's tonight?" I try to rack my brain but nothing is coming to mind.
"The football game that's away. We are suppose to meet coach after school to jump on a bus. That's why we were suppose to bring our uniforms."
"Crap crap crap! I forgot!"
"Girl it's your first game back."
"I know, I will figure it out. I am sure one of my brothers can bring my bag." I started to think about how I could go during my study hall next period to Reubens class. As class went on our teacher gave us an assignment that if we didn't finish it was homework. I ended up finishing the paper with ten minutes left of class and decided to see if I could go to Reubens.
"Hey Mr. Walter I finished my assignment do you mind if I go to my brothers room? There is something I need to ask him."
"Which one and what do you need?" He asked looking up from some papers he was grading.
"Reuben and I left my cheer uniform at home."
"Okay here's a note however your brothers pulled this a couple of times so have Reuben call me when you make it to him. I am not saying I don't believe you but you haven't gained my trust yet."
What will kat do when she is faced with the people she and her brother love. Will she be able to choose who she will be with. Or will she leave them all behind? She neve...
"Yes sir I can do that thank you." I grabbed the note and my stuff quickly going out the door. I made my way to the high school side going straight to Reubens door and knocking. A girl answered the door as I walked in she walked back to her seat. Everyone was silent and working on something as Reuben was at his desk typing away on his computer. I walk over to him and clear my throat.
"Hey Princess everything okay?" He says after looking up at me.
"Yes but before we get into that do you mind calling Mr. Walter to let him know I actually came to you. He says our brothers would pull a stunt like this just to skip class."
Ru shakes his head picking up his classroom phone. "I remember that well. They are pains in my behind." He calls Mr. Walter. "Hello Walter.... Yes she's here with me.......mhm....thank you....you have a nice day." He hung up and looked at me. "So what's up Princess."
"I forgot my cheer uniform at home. Can you call Bruce or Ben?"
"They are in meetings all day I am sorry love."
"Your planning is next period and I have study hall, can we go then?"
"I have a PLC I can't go."
"Ru I need my uniform." I whine as I whisper back.
"Stop acting like a two year old and let me figure it out." He glared causing me to take a step back as if he would reach over and whack me in a class full of kids. After a minute he picked up his phone and called someone. "Hey can you send Sam to me.... No he's not I just need him to do me a favor..... thanks bro." He hung up right as the bell rang. "Want a drink? I have Dr. Pepper in my fridge." He leaded over to where the mini fridge was by his desk grabbing him one.
"Sure." I shrugged and grabbed it as he handed it to me.
"Hey Reuben what's up?" Sam asked as he walked in raising one eyebrow when he saw me.
"Hey what are you doing for this period?" Reuben asked.
"It's my study hall, so nothing, I might do some homework."
"You don't have to go to any of your teachers to make up anything right?"
"Nope I am all good. I was going to go to the library."
"Okay I am going to sign you two out. I need you to take Kat home to get her cheer uniform. Go ahead and grab you all lunch too. Just be back here before your lunch ends so you don't miss any class understand?"
"Yes sir." Sam nods and Reuben gets up waving for us to fallow him. We walk to the front office and he signs us out. Then I fallowed Sam to his car.
"So food or uniform first?" Sam asked as we got in the car.
"Food please." I say as I see a smile grow on his face.
"This is why you're my favorite sister."
"I am your only sister." I roll my eyes as he laughed. We grabbed food then Sam blared Taylor Swift for me. He truly is the best big brother but I think he secretively likes Taylor. He seems to know most of her songs. Before I knew it we were pulling up to the house.
"I am going to run in with you. I will probably be fallowing the bus to the game and I want to grab a change of clothes."
"Should we grab Jere and Wes some too?"
"Probably, good idea. I will get Jere's if you can get Wes'."
"Deal, think jeans and a t-shirt will do? Or sweats?"
"Hmm good question, let's just grab both." He said getting out of the car. We walk up the front steps and into the front door. That's when we heard it.
"Oooo mmmm Bennnn. Mmmm yes!" A women's voice filled the room. I looked over at Sam to see his eyes wide. We both go to walk through the foyer to the stairs when we passed the living room. That's when we saw it Ben had a girl that was naked riding on top of him. I gasped and Sam covered my eyes with his hands, clearing his throat.
I heard the women squeal and then Ben sighed. "What are you two doing home?"
"Um we had to come get Kats cheer uniform. Reuben signed us out for study hall and lunch." Sam said in an eerie calm voice. It was like he was just talking through a business transaction. Not like he just walked into our oldest brother fucking a stranger. "We will just go do that now. Ma'am it was a pleasure to meet you." With his hands still over my eyes he lead me to the steps. "Just go straight up the steps and don't look back unless you want to be in trouble."
"Okay I won't." I said then he moved his hands. I didn't look back and ran up the stairs to my room. I did not want to see my big brother naked again. Blah it gave me the hibby gibbies. I grabbed my new uniform and throw it in my cheer bag.
"Katherine." Ben knock on my door frame back in his suit he was in this morning. This was about to be so awkward. But I won't lie I want to know who this chick is.
