Dear Alex,
Today is the happiest day of my life. Why? Because I get to marry the most amazing man I’ve ever met and finally give our Gracie the family she’s always wanted. Better late than never, right? I don’t know what the future holds, but I know you’re the only one I want by my side through whatever life has in store. Thank you for giving this a second chance.
The last year has been the year of second chances. I’ve had a second chance at love, a second chance at having a family, and even a second chance at friendship. Would you be willing to give me one more second chance? I want a second chance to run away with you.
We can fly to an undisclosed location and get married, just the three of us. Then, we can all pick fake names and spend a week making up stories to tell strangers about our new identities.
