Chapter Seven #3
James looked up. Jacob had been dressing much more relaxed since after Christmas than James had ever seen him before. Was it that James just hadn’t paid attention or was Jacob more casual these days?
“James?” Jacob frowned at him.
“I’m okay. Just thinking,” he admitted.
“I thought you wanted to relax?” Jacob clucked his tongue.
“Me too.” James couldn’t help that he was practically obsessed with learning more about the Daddy and boy dynamic.
Jacob leaned over him to pull at the blanket.
James curled his fingers into the soft blanket, not wanting to give it up.
“Okay, sweetheart. You can hold on to the blankie,” Jacob said. He pulled James up. “May I remove your jeans?”
He liked that Jacob asked permission. “Yes.”
There were no extra touches. Jacob’s hands didn’t wander or rub. Jacob had James’s jeans down his legs and told him to step out in seconds.
James lifted his feet and the jeans were gone. A soft pair of sweatpants was held up. He had to hold on to Jacob’s shoulders to get the sweatpants up his legs. Once the pants were settled on his hips, James was warm. He still clung to the blanket he had in his arms.
“Go ahead and sit down. Feel free to stretch out. I’m going to get you some water, then we’ll cuddle on the couch and watch cartoons.”
James glanced back toward the huge screen on the wall across from the couch. He was rather relieved that Jacob owned a television. How awful would it be to pick a Daddy that didn’t have a television.
Jacob chuckled. “Yes, I have a TV.” He picked up the remote from the coffee table and powered the television on. He scrolled through the home screen before stopping at a cartoon. Young teenage superheroes played in front of him. “I remember this one. I think you’ll like it.”
“Yeah.” It used to be one of his favorites.
Jacob gently held James’s elbow and urged him down. James lowered himself to the couch before laying the blanket back over him.
“Perfect,” Jacob praised. “I’ll get you that water. Would you like a snack?”
James shrugged. He didn’t want to be a bother.
“Okay, I’ll take care of it.” Jacob disappeared again.
Settling back against the plush cushion, James closed his eyes as the cartoon played at a low volume across the room. He’d seen that episode a dozen times but there was a certain comfort in knowing what would happen.
He didn’t know where his backpack had ended up. James was still carrying around the cape and action figure. No one else had seen it. James liked knowing it was there though. Even if he had moments of weakness, James was still a superhero.
Earlier that night he and Cal had run inside a burning building to make sure everyone got out.
James had been the one to grab the twins and get them and their mom out of the apartment.
The smoke had been thick. The heat from the fire several floors down noticeable.
But when he’d seen the twin boys, James had known that he would sacrifice everything to get them to safety.
And he’d done so.
The mom hadn’t wanted to leave the apartment. James had convinced her while urging her closer to the emergency exit staircase. Outside he’d had to turn over the twins to Brad to look over.
Once they were certain that the complex was empty, James and Cal had joined Josh and the other guys fighting the fire with water.
They’d tried their best, but the fire had burned hot.
It would take a few days for the investigation into how the fire had started.
James wouldn’t be involved with that. No, his work was done after the fire had been put out.
He’d still gone to check on the mother and twins as soon as he’d gotten the chance. Brad had insisted on taking the babies and their mom to the hospital even though he assured James they would be fine.
James had been the one holding the woman as she’d sobbed against his chest.
He still felt horrible that she’d lost so much.
Cal had assured him that the woman would get the help she needed.
Jacob had said the same. They obviously knew more about what assistance their community offered.
That was something that James would learn more about just in case he needed to pass on the information next time.
“Hey,” Jacob said quietly.
James opened his eyes. “Hi.”
“May I join you?” Jacob asked. He’d set a wooden tray on the side table next to the couch.
“Sure.” James started to pull his legs up.
“If it’s okay with you, I’d like to scoot in behind you. That was I can hold you while making sure you eat and drink your water.”
His cheeks heated. That was something that James had been thinking a lot about lately. What it would feel like to have Jacob touch him for longer than a brief moment.
“You can say no,” Jacob hurried to say. “No pressure.”
What if James wanted some pressure? That wasn’t fair. He needed to tell Jacob what he needed. Communicate. “I’d like that,” he managed even if James found it hard to hold Jacob’s gaze. “You holding me.”
“Good boy,” Jacob said softly.
James knew his face would be even more red. It had always been hard to hide his blushing.
Jacob helped him lean forward before he slid behind James on the couch. James was pulled back against Jacob’s wide chest. James bit his lip to hide his smile. This didn’t feel like a Daddy and little thing. Maybe like a boyfriend thing. Not as awkward as James had expected.
“Is this okay?” Jacob asked.
“Yes,” James whispered in response. While he’d had sex plenty of times, James hadn’t had a real relationship. Boyfriends? A few in high school but no one that he’d ever cuddled with. And Jacob was totally cuddling him.
Being captured between Jacob’s legs, James could feel Jacob in an intimate way. He had to straighten the blanket down on his lap where it pooled. His own body was already reacting to the close contact.
“How about some water?” Jacob offered the bottle. A regular plastic bottle that again didn’t seem to indicate anything other than just hanging out.
James accepted the cold drink and gulped it down. Not only was he parched but it helped cool his libido. It was impossible to research any kind of kink without sex being involved. Even if age regression, the talk about sex was added.
Some littles didn’t engage in sex at all when they regressed. Others, like Michael, often didn’t care if they were big or little and often engaged in sex with their Daddies while regressed.
James wasn’t certain where he’d fall. He was learning that cuddling was a turn-on.
Jacob threaded his fingers into James’s hair, tugging lightly before starting to rub.
James groaned. That was nice.
“Have a bite, baby,” Jacob ordered quietly.
He opened his mouth for a bite of apple.
“Good boy.”
Oh, he couldn’t hold back the shudder.
“You can turn your brain off,” Jacob told him. “Just relax and let me take care of you. I promise that nothing more than this will happen tonight. Just the two of us cuddling while you eat, drink, and watch cartoons.”
While James’s cock might not like the statement, James’s mind was easily on board. Releasing the tension of his body, James allowed himself to sink more heavily against Jacob.
When Jacob held up another piece of apple or a cube of cheese or a small purple grape, James would open his mouth to accept the offering. Jacob would nudge the water bottle and James would drink.
A new episode of the same cartoon started and James pointed. This was one of his favorites.
“I like this one,” Jacob agreed.
Cartoons were cool because by the end of the thirty-minute episode, everything would work out. The teenage superheroes would stop the bad guy. Everything would be right in the world.
With a sigh, James rested his cheek against Jacob’s chest.
Under his ear, Jacob’s heart beat at a steady pace.
He closed his eyes again even as he continued to listen to the cartoon. Jacob stopped trying to feed him and instead wrapped both arms around James. That was even better.
With the thump thump thump of Jacob’s heart, James let himself drift.
