Chapter Twelve
Jason shuddered as David rocked between his spread legs, their dicks rubbing together, both of them hard. “I think you could make me come just from this,” he gasped.
David’s hot gaze locked on his. “One day I will.” He rotated his hips leisurely, like they had all the time in the world. Like Jason’s cock wasn’t so hard it ached.
Then Jason moaned when David’s lips met his in another toe-curling kiss, his warm body still rocking on top of him. He caught his breath when David hooked his arms under Jason’s knees and rolled his lower body up off the throw, David’s dick sliding over his balls to rub over his hole.
David nodded slowly, his eyes focused on Jason’s. “Does that feel good?”
“Yes,” Jason whispered. God, the heat of David’s shaft as it slid through his crease.
“Want me inside you?”
“God, yes.” The groan was torn from his lips, Jason unable to stop it from spilling out into the now warm room.
David chuckled. “Not yet. Something else we need to do first.” Jason’s heart pounded as David shifted position, his hands supporting Jason’s ass as he brought his mouth closer to where Jason’s hole tightened. “Fuck, look at you.”
The note of awe in David’s voice sent heat surging through Jason, and with it came newfound confidence. He could hear David’s desire in his voice, hear how much he wanted this.
“You like my hole?”
David’s warm breath ghosted over the tight pucker, and he shivered. That first contact as David licked around the rim sent a wave of need crashing over him. “God, yes. Please.”
David licked again before kissing him there, and with that intimate moment Jason let himself go. “In me. Want to feel your tongue inside me.”
David pulled away, his eyes gleaming in the firelight. “Hands and knees,” he growled.
Jason responded swiftly, his body trembling as he offered David his ass. David knelt behind him, pushing his knees wider and pulling his cheeks apart. Then the breath left Jason’s body when David pushed his tongue into his stretched hole.
“Oh my fucking God.” Jason arched his back and groaned, his legs shaking.
David went right on fucking his hole with his tongue, now and again sliding a finger into his channel, the sounds wet and erotic and hot as hell. Jason reached under him to pull on his cock, his need growing white hot.
“Fuck, you have a gorgeous ass,” David murmured against his cheek. “I could eat this ass all day.”
Jason found enough breath to gasp. “If… you keep doing that… I’m… gonna come.”
Just like that, David halted. “How do you want this? On all fours or—”
“On my back.” Jason didn’t hesitate. “I want to see you when you’re inside me.”
David flipped him onto his back and knelt between his spread thighs.
He grabbed one of the remaining condoms from the pillows and gloved up, his cock pointing up toward the ceiling, thick and long.
Jason watched as David squeezed the last of the lube onto his rigid shaft, spreading it along his length.
David locked gazes. “Ready?”
Jason nodded, his throat thick. David pushed his legs higher and then brought the hot head of his dick to Jason’s hole.
“Kiss me,” Jason blurted out. “Please, kiss me.”
David leaned over and kissed him slowly, and Jason sighed into the kiss. He moaned at the pressure as David pushed, their lips still connected, and then he was there.
“Fuck.” Jason stared into those blue eyes that had never been hotter. “You’re… ”
“Inside you, babe.” David moved carefully, inch by inch, and Jason wrapped his legs around his waist, holding onto his shoulders.
The burn was there but only slight, giving way to a blossoming pleasure that spread out from his core, pushing into every crevice of his being.
David kept his movements unhurried and gentle, those sweet, languid kisses never ceasing as he moved in and out of Jason’s body. “Does it feel good?”
Jason nodded, his breathing becoming more uneven. “Feels… Oh God, it feels so good.” How long had he dreamed of this, of slowly being penetrated? It was way better than his fantasies, and he knew the reason why without a shadow of a doubt.
It was David, making slow, sweet love to him. David, who seemed in no hurry to reach orgasm, but instead appeared focused on making it good for him. David, whose kisses lit him up inside, just as his cock lit up every nerve ending in Jason’s body.
He held onto David and they began to rock together, picking up speed, their breathing harsh in the quiet room. David’s thrusts grew more urgent, and Jason grabbed hold of his ass, pulling him deeper, urging him to go faster, harder, because now he could feel his imminent climax waiting there.
“I was… made for this,” Jason cried out as David filled him to the hilt, his cock sliding in and out so fluidly, sending electricity zapping up and down his spine.
Made for you. He wanted to cry out the words but his breath was stolen from him as he came, shooting come over his belly and chest, his whole body trembling from the force of it.
David stiffened, his dick buried deep inside Jason as he came, his back arched, eyes wide and mouth open in a soft cry of ecstasy.
Jason pulled him down onto his come-spattered torso and held him, his lips seeking David’s, desperate to maintain their connection.
They clung to each other, their bodies jolted by tiny shocks as climaxes dissipated, both of them damp with sweat.
The sound of church bells pealing broke through the silence that had fallen.
Jason cupped the back of David’s head and gave him a long, leisurely kiss. “Merry Christmas.”
David smiled. “Now it’s Christmas.” He gazed down at Jason and trailed his fingers over his damp chest. “Look like I got to open a present early.”
“Did you like it?” Jason’s heartbeat had almost returned to normal.
David kissed him on the lips and then nodded. “Best present I ever received.”
Jason grinned. “Wow. How am I going to top that next year?” He stilled instantly, conscious of the implication.
David’s slow smile was the perfect response. “I’m sure you’ll think of something, and I look forward to finding out.”
* * * * * *
Jason parked the car outside the house and switched off the engine.
Beside him, David laughed. “I know what you’re thinking. You’d rather we were still in bed, right?”
Jason sighed. “Yes.” It had been heavenly to wake up in David’s arms, his bed no longer too big but just right for the two of them. I could get used to that. He’d kept silent on that score. Is it too soon to tell him what I want? Because he wanted more than sex.
He wanted David. In his life, his apartment, his bed. For as long as we both shall live.
That was one thought he was definitely keeping to himself.
A thought prodded him. “Are you sure Zero will be all right on his own?”
David chuckled. “You make it sound like we’ll be gone for days. It’s just until this evening. He has lots of food, water, and a fresh box of litter. What’s the betting that right now he’s lying curled up on the rug, complaining that we haven’t lit a fire for him?”
That made him chuckle. “You’re right, of course.” He liked David’s use of we. It felt… right. But he knew that if he strayed onto that path, he wouldn’t be able to control himself. Jason had a heap of questions he was dying to ask, and all of them about their future.
Because I want us to have a future.
All morning he’d thought long and hard about how to express his feelings, but for some reason the words wouldn’t come. He’d begun countless conversations in his head and had scrapped them all.
This is all so new. Scary.
What made it worse was that David hadn’t said a word.
Oh, he’d said more than enough with all those kisses and caresses that had started from the moment they woke up, and it had been clear where things had been headed.
Sharing a shower quickly became foreplay, before David had tugged him back to Jason’s bed where they’d made love again.
That’s where I want to be, all right. Under the covers, making love.
“Do I want to know what you’re thinking?” David’s tone was laced with amusement.
“Like you don’t already know.” Jason gave himself a mental shake and took in their surroundings for the first time. The street where David’s parents lived was in a quiet suburb, and by the look of it, parking space was at a premium.
Wait a minute.
Jason took one look at the cars on the driveway and all the way around the block, and succumbed to a last moment of panic. “My God, how many people have your parents invited?”
David reached to give Jason’s hand a reassuring squeeze. “Stop worrying. It’ll be fine.”
“Easy for you to say,” Jason muttered under his breath, peering at the house. “You’re not the one about to be scrutinized.”
“You think?” David snickered. “For the first time in my life, I’m bringing a guy to meet my parents—no, scrap that, my entire family—and you just know what they’re going to be thinking.” He groaned. “I predict it will be all of five minutes before Mom has her wedding planning folder out.”
Jason’s heartbeat sped up. “And when she does, I’ll be right there with you, holding your hand.”
David slowly turned to look at him.
Jason swallowed. “You didn’t think I was here just to be polite, right?
” He stretched out his hand to stroke David’s cheek.
“Do you have any idea what you’ve come to mean to me during these past weeks?
How important you’ve become?” He lowered his hand and closed his eyes for a moment, seeking the right words.
“Jason.”
He opened his eyes and met David’s gaze.
“I know I joke about Mom’s obsession with seeing me married off to someone, but truly, I have no qualms about walking in there with you beside me. But if she starts asking me how serious we are, I’ll be honest with her.”
Jason’s heart suddenly felt that little bit lighter. “And what will you tell her?”
David’s expression was almost serene. “The truth,” he said simply. “That you and I are together.”
Now. Do it now.
Jason reached into his jacket pocket, his fingers closing around the small box. “I know I didn’t get you a present, but—”
“You’ve got a short memory,” David said with a grin. “You gave me my present last night, remember?”
Jason’s face grew warm. “You are not allowed to go saying stuff like that when we’re around your parents. You got that?”
David gave a solemn nod. “Best behavior. I promise.” The twinkle in his eyes told the truth, however.
His fingers tightened on the box. “As I was saying… As we were getting ready to leave the apartment, I realized I had something to give you after all.” He held out the plain white box.
David took it, his brow furrowing when he opened it and saw the red glass heart nestled in a layer of tissue paper. “This is the one I bought for the tree, isn’t it?”
Jason nodded. “It’s sort of symbolic.” He removed the heart and placed it in David’s palm. “This is me, David, giving you my heart. Yours to keep. To love.” Jason locked gazes with him. “If you want it.” His heartbeat sped up and he held his breath.
David stared at the red glass ornament and then let out a long sigh. “Oh, God, of course I do.” He leaned forward and captured Jason’s mouth in a gentle kiss. Their foreheads touched. “Love you,” David whispered.
Jason had never heard sweeter words.
He cupped the back of David’s head. “I love you.” They sat there in silence, David still holding the fragile heart.
“So where do we go from here?” Jason asked at last. “Apart from the obvious answer, which is into the lions’ den, aka your parents’ Christmas Day festivities.”
David chuckled and kissed him again. “Right now we don’t have to think about that. We will talk about it, though.” He met Jason’s gaze. “I’m as new to all this as you. Well, that’s not strictly true.”
Jason’s former life seemed like a distant dream. “First thing on the agenda will be to meet with Travis.”
David nodded. “Agreed. That should be an interesting meeting.” When Jason raised his eyebrows, David smiled. “He’s already given me the protective son speech.”
A memory clicked into place. “Oh wow.”
David squeezed his hand again. “But now is neither the time nor the place.” He peered toward the house. “Especially as the living room curtains have twitched three times already.”
Jason straightened and he gave a decisive nod. “Okay. Time to meet the family.” He could do this. Hell, right then he felt like he could tackle anything.
David chuckled. “And don’t worry. If it feels like it’s getting too overwhelming, just give me a nod.”
“And what will you do?” Jason asked with a smile.
David stroked his face. “I’ll be there to save you.”
